I was walking near my hotel and ran into this awesome little Chinese restaurant. I didn't want a big meal, only a bit of dim sum. I and my companion walked in and were seated immediately. I asked for dim sum and was immediately served some of the best Chinese appetizers I've had! Needless to say, I had just returned from San Francisco the month before and this small place in Lucerne, blem them away! I quickly ordered another plate full of dim sum. It was so wonderful. I told the husband and wife team how impressed I was at the meal and thanked them for the care they put into preparing it. This place is easy to find. I am attaching a pic of the card that I took from the restaurant. They deserve to have more exposure since their meals are awesome! I NEVER expected to love a Chinese restaurant in Switzerland but it was awesome.

Courteous staff but unfortunately the food is terrible not to mention the price (it's around 16…read moredollars for an entree to go which is consider decent price per Swiss standards). I ordered a noodle dish for my sister and spicy chicken to go. I asked them to separate the noodles from the soup because I didn't want it to get soggy on my walk back to the hotel. They charged 50 cent extras for an extra container to put the soup. The chicken was way too soft. The fish was very saucy which caused it to spill all over on my rice. It didn't have much taste either and barely any heat. My sister said her noodles extremely bland as well.

The only sad thing is no weekend service is available. Thank you for taking the time to explain your delicious noodles and sharing your advice on the tofu pudding for dessert. #1 Yelp rated Chinese restaurant in Lucerne -of course there is only 3 Chinese restaurants listed…read morein Yelp in this Swiss city. Place specializes in spicy hot noodle soups. However, it was in the 80s, and I wasn't about to eat soup on a hot day. Our CHF22 chicken dish came with spicy chili chicken, with ear mushrooms and rice. As in most Swiss restaurant, dish comes with rice, but only half a small bowl for the two of us. The chicken was fresh and fell off the bone, using a chopstick in each hand to peel off. Excellent dish, but could use more white rice. Seven steamed shrimp dumplings came with our CHF18 shrimp dumpling dish. Standard presentation in a steamed bamboo pot, with the shrimp tasty and not rubbery. Had to pay CHF4, or $4.28, for two glasses of tap water. Will remember next time to bring my own water to guzzle down prior to stepping into a restaurant in Switzerland. Authentic Chinese food served here. How do I know it's authentic? Any time they serve meat dishes with the bones still in them, in a sauce, it's authentic, as Americans don't want to mess around with bones in sauces. Also, only Chinese eating here.
