So this may be my favorite park. IF you get a spot next to the river. Its the best view of any park i have ever been to. Its right off I-5 but you can hardly hear the freeway. Big spots with hedges in between. Be advised if you have a hunting dog they will have to choose between geese and squirrels. It is very clean and awesome for big rigs.

Decided to reserve some time for laziness after a road trip to Crater Lake National Park. After boondocking a few days, having full hookups seem so luxurious. Check in was quick and simple. We were assigned site 26 and it was just a few feet to the Sacramento River. Residents shared that Salmon runs through here, but we all know it's timing. I did see a bass swim by me but he was plagued with battle scars. I've allowed him to live another day. LOL. I recommend staying here whether you just want to spend a night or even make it a fishing trip. Just be sure check the Salmon season calendar.

This is the area between river view sites and the river.

This is my go to park when traveling. If for one or two nights I do a pull through and longer river view site. I have been staying here since it opened. Family owned business and so very nice. Beautiful park!!

Incredible RV park! We are a 40' RV pulling a 20' trailer and are in site R2 on the Sacramento River. Lots of space between sites. Amazing River views and you can fish on the bank. WiFi a little spotty.

Great RV park. Clean and paved sites. River view sites are a little more $$$. Friendly staff and well maintained grounds. Bathrooms clean and large. Showers big and lots of hot water. Definitely would recommend this place.

It's a wonderful place. The people are very friendly and the place is clean the sites are big with lots of room between each rig.

Very friendly very clean and helpful. From the time we made our reservation and went we checked in and out. Nice dog park clean restroom nice pool. On the river beautiful views. Bigger sites than normal.

We caught 4 nice Salmon with guide Ryan Tripp!

Amazing RV Park on the Sacramento River. Very clean and well kept, nice restrooms and showers. A little bit of noise from the lumber mill down river but it quickly fades into the background.

    View from our site.

What isn't there to like? They have large sites with bushes and plants between them for privacy, concrete pads, lots of green grass open space and it lies along side the Sacramento River. We enjoyed watching the rafters go down the river and the muskrats or otters playing along the shore. We were in site 27 and had a great view of the river and we will definitely return.

We got a space right on the river and was able to wake up to a beautiful day every morning. Easy to set everything up and a safe place.

The park was built in the 80's with only one shutoff valve, which means when there is an issue, the whole park gets shut off. The maintenance team is working on installing more in the park as time allows. We have had some nasty storms that have required some cleanup. We usually keep about two gallons of water on hand for watering the furbabies, drinking, flushing, and washing hands. (My old park would have water shutoffs all the time, with no concrete plans to update the 1950's infrastructure.) The things we love the most about being here are how quiet it is, especially since we're at the end of our road, the trails that my dogs love, and the critters we come across on walks such as tree squirrels, black butterflies that are everywhere right now, birds, sometimes I even hear a Great Horned Owl in the trees overhead in the wee hours of the morning. (In perimenopause, awake when I don't want to be is a thing that happens due to that lol.) We have even gotten courtesy texts about bringing in awnings when the wind is about to pick up. The full bathrooms are a lifesaver when there are camper plumbing issues, the pool is an even bigger lifesaver in the hot months, and the full kitchen in the clubhouse has allowed me to bake a turkey two Thanksgivings in a row now. 99% of the people who live here are very friendly and happy to be here. Of course there's always at least one or two people who will complain about everything. The PG&E rates for full-timers can be hard, as they are for everyone on PG&E, but corporate is great about reviewing and approving requests for shades and things that can be installed to help mitigate the power usage in hot months. I just ordered one two days ago that I will have installed on my roof, that my old park rejected. Ruthie, the property manager, is very knowledgeable and helpful when I have questions. I can't say enough about how much we love it here.

During the process, Cheryl communicated with me and kept me up to date on my space availability as I was waiting on the official start date for my new job. She told me she was putting me on a cooler side of the park with trees and that would be very helpful when the summer heat starts kicking in. Paul was very patient with this newbie while I was backing my trailer onto the pad. The sites are very clean, and the grounds are well kept. My two dogs love the little dog park, and we feel safe going for walks within the RV park. We were advised by others we spoke to be careful of walking on the road outside the RV park, but so far, I haven't seen anything on the main street that has caused me concern. Security within the park itself is very good. It's not too far from where I work. I do feel a bit guilty that I work on weekends and leave rather early in the morning. Quiet hours are in place at that time, and I try my best to not to disturb anyone, but I know my coming out of the door and starting up the truck makes noise. I highly recommend this park to anyone passing through or staying as a long-term guest.
