The sunrise over Lake Shasta was gorgeous. The early morning start was perfect for beating the summer heat and the wake from all the water sport boaters. Within 10-15 minutes of being on the water, and poles in for less than 5- we got our first bite. A beautiful rainbow trout! The bite was pretty consistent from there on out- Eric knew the right areas to fish & had all the equipment to get us to the depths we needed to be at. His set up on the boat is very dialed in & even with two or 3 fish on at once, he makes it easy. By lunch our family had already caught 30+ fish. We threw back a bunch of spotted bass and lost a number of large trout. At the end of the day, we went home with 26 trout (rainbow and browns) and 4 keeper sized bass. Eric kept the fun going, was enjoyable to be around and made the process so simple on us. He's even willing to help process the catch at the end of the day. 10/10 stars for Eric and his guiding service. We'd recommend a day on the lake with him to just about anyone we know- avid fisherman and newbies alike. Thanks for everything Eric!

Upon returning to the marina they fill the gas tank and make you pay a prepaid $250 and return what wasn't used. They charge $7 a gallon and without telling you on the website, in your agreement or to your face at check in. We sat with three different individuals and not one of them told us at the end there would be an additional $250. The jetski ran great but EXTREMELY over priced and disappointed by the lack of communication or warning.

My issue is with how I was treated after expressing understandable disappointment over a last-minute cancellation of a Father's Day charter that had significant emotional value and required planning around limited availability. After simply asking whether any alternate guides or solutions were available, I received a response stating they were "extremely disappointed" in me and implying I lacked empathy. As a paying customer, I believe it was reasonable to be disappointed and ask questions. Two things can be true at once: their guide suffered a tragic loss, and their handling of customer communication was unnecessarily defensive and unprofessional. I would have appreciated empathy and professionalism instead of being reprimanded for my reaction.

She wasn't pushy at all and didn't upsell me anything - just gave me all the tips and info. We decided on a tandem snowmobile for an hour with a guide. We arrived 20 minutes late but she was so professional - she shortened and made the check in process so easy. There was a cabin with fire where you can change since Deer Mountain was quite cold and was snowing that day desolate the snow drought. She was mega attentive and taught us everything and told us exactly where we were going. She took couple of pictures for us and explained what we'll see had it not been so foggy. On the way back when we stopped at a viewpoint my boyfriend accidentally accelerated and we toppled right where the cliff started - Michele rushed over and helped us up and we genuinely concerned for our well being. We're so grateful she was our guide and can't recommend her enough. She's an amazing person with a beautiful smile and we definitely suggest everyone go snowmobile with her, especially first timers!

He took them to a beautiful spot near Mount Shasta where they both caught a few trout. My son is a total beginner and Jack was patient with him and gave valuable instruction. Having said this, our group definitely has "go-to" guides; and Matt is one of them. Everybody in the group loves going out with Matt. We like him because he has a great demeanor and is an awesome guide, coach and instructor. He is great with both kids and adults, and is able to adjust his approach to the demeanor, preferences and skill level of the person he is guiding. If you want to catch fish, have fun, improve your fishing all with a great guy...Matt is your guide. As an aside, an added benefit of fishing with Matt is he is a trained field medic--it's nice to go out with him, especially when we are in rugged and remote country.
