If you live in Connecticut, A&M is the ONLY place to take your Volvo. I had an ABS issue with my 2004 XC90. I took it to the dealer, and they wanted more $$$ than the car was worth to fix it. I took it to a local mechanic, he read the ODB readout, scratched his head and just told me to sell it. A&M on the other hand was both KNOWLEDGEABLE and AFFORDABLE. Since they only work on Volvos, they had seen the same problem before. And because they aren't a dealership, they were able to recommend a value-add solution that involved replacing a few parts, and sending out the main control unit to a specialty vendor for a rebuild. I cannot stress how helpful, knowledgeable and professional Kim and her husband are.
