I placed a Uber Eats order for Jumbo Shrimp and fries with a side of corn fritters. No fries and the shrimp are super small. They were cold and crunchy. I would not recommend this location. I called and the person on the phone offered for me to come and pickup my fries. I told her I have a boot and crutches. That's why I paid for delivery. I made a complaint with Uber Eats. Passed this place at least 50 times and never thought about stopping until today. My son and I wanted some fish so we decided to give them a try. The place was neat and clean when I entered. I was promptly helped with placing my order and met with a smile. My order was placed and it was cooked to order. Fish pieces were big and more than enough for dinner. We ordered a 3 piece whiting and catfish combo with fries. Food was still fresh and hot when arriving at home. We will definitely stop by again. read more

I was really craving fried fish and chicken. Two other places I wanted to go to were closed and I found this place on UberEats. I quickly ordered a whiting and chicken plate with hush puppies and fried Mac and cheese balls. When I pull up, it says JG Crab and I was very confused. The lady inside said it was the same place and gave me my food. It was EMPTY inside. It's 6pm on a Monday but I think that lady was the only person in there working. To the food, the friend Mac and cheese balls were KRAFT MAC AND CHEESE. It was $5 and clearly I wasted my money on that. The fish was fine. They used fish fry batter you can buy at the store and the chicken was just ok. The hush puppies were good. They also sell crab boils, which shows they are trying to sell too many different types of food and they were trying to jump in on the crab boil phase everyone in Atlanta is having. My 1st experience was decent but I bought a Groupon, followed the instructions to order but the woman who answered the phone and claimed to.be the manager had no clue. She told me I had to order via Groupom when the instructions (see pics below).say CALL IN. I chose not to order and requested a refund back from Groupon. Needless to.say she called me back, claimimg she spoke to the district manager only to tell me again that I needed to order online. Like I told her...no thank you. A refund is being processed. My sister and I have eaten here more than once. Today, Saturday, May 18, 2024 was an entirely different experience. As we entered we were greeted by a young lady with a multicolored braided hair style. The receipt says "Jasmine". Not sure what we wanted to eat, my sister asked "Jasmine" what fish she suggests, and she replied "well I don't eat fish". My sister then asked if the pieces of perch were small portions and "Jasmine" replied, "I don't work in the back so I wouldn't know. We then both ordered the Pick 2 Combos with 2pc Perch and 3 Whole Wings ($13.99 each). My sister sub fried okra as her side for an extra $1.29. Our grand total was $31.54. The food was cooked to order and piping hot. We got our food to-go and it was still hot when we arrived home 4 mins away. As we sat at the dinner table I went straight for one of the fried wings. As I picked it up and separated the flat from the drum I smelled a foul odor. I asked my sister to do the same and she smelled it as well. The chicken was spoiled. We immediately went back to the restaurant. When we walked in with our bags "Jasmine" asked what's the problem. With a family sitting dining in, I tried to discreetly pull her to the side and tell her that the chicken had a foul smell. She frowned her face and grabbed one of the meals and took it to the back. She came back out and said, "I will "give" you each 3 pieces of Perch. I asked "are you saying 6 pieces per meal". She stated, "no 3 pieces per meal Sir". I explained to her that we were fine with the 2 pieces of perch that came with each meal, could she just substitute the 3 fried wings with 2 pc Whiting since we both had the Pick 2 Combos. Jasmine went to the back to communicate this to the cook. When the food came out one meal was correct but the other only had 3 pieces of Perch but not the 2 pc Whiting that we agreed upon. At that point "Jasmine" became irate when I asked for a refund. She's stated, " Oh we don't give refunds and besides y'all were on 100 when y'all came up in here." We replied, " No we were on HUNGRY when we came in ma'am." We then, tried explaining to the cook who had come to the front. She replied, "I speak no English." This same cook, then looks over at the family that was seated enjoying their meal and asked, " How Are Your Wings?" BUT REMEMBER SHE SPEAKS NO ENGLISH. WOW!!! We asked for a manager and "Jasmine called her from her personal cellphone. My sister spoke with her and the manager asked that we come back on Monday so that she can make things right. We are good on that. No Thanks!!! I WILL NOT VISIT HERE EVER AGAIN!!! Having someone work for you like "Jasmine" is very bad for business. If the owner reads this, PLEASE hire someone with exceptional customer service experience. Someone that knows what items are on the menu and offers suggestive sales. If he or she is uncertain about how something is prepared, ask the cook. And with that being said, PLEASE make sure that your cook knows some English so that there's no confusion about what the customer wants. Long review but much needed. Ordered the crab and shrimp boil this evening. The food definitely arrived hot, but the flavor was not there. I had ordered them with the hooked Cajun seasoning and it was basically just butter and not even salted butter at that. The corn and potatoes were delicious and I decided to add some Mac n cheese bites as well. Those more than made up for the non-flavor of the crab and shrimp. read more

I was stuck in Atlanta due to a flight cancellation and booked a room. I went on Uber Eats and based on the pictures and menu descriptions, decided to order for JG's. Once I received my order, I had to take a moment to reflect on my life and wonder what past sins lead me to deserve this abomination in the picture. I ordered chicken TENDERS, not chicken roughs! I sit up at night and ponder how a person can even do this to chicken(?), even jerky has a little bit of moisture. It's not even burnt! Did they do some type of Harry Potter witchcraft spell to remove all the moisture? This stuff looks like the skin they find on one of those 10,000 year old preserved bodies. This meal was cooked with hate and I guess they thought hitting it with a little "razzle dazzle" by sprinkling lemon pepper seasoning on it, everything would be alright. Knowing these people, that's probably baby powder, they're liable to do anything to food. I don't even want a refund. If you are looking for a seafood boil this place is NOT it! The sauce is just butter and no seasoning whatsoever. If you are looking for fried chicken and fish. Definitely recommend! We tried the wings fries and corn nuggets. Those somewhat made up for the flavorless seafood boil but still disappointed because we all know seafood is not cheap. read more
