Ordered pickup from here because it's very close to the house. I've had pizza from here in the past, and remember it being much better. Not sure if it was just this time, but the food was mediocre. I might give it another try and change my review if it's better next time. Update: Gave it another try and was way more satisfied this time around! The service was better, and the pizza tasted completely different, even visually looked more appetizing. Jets Pizza in Fishhawk has a sign that offers half of wings on Wednesday with the purchase of any large, 8 corner, NY, or XL pizza. Tried to order the wings and was told you can only have the wings half price if you order any of the items with only one topping. No where does it say it has to be only one topping. I love their pizza. Don't order it much because it's quite expensive. The quality of the food is not my problem. Last time I ordered I couldn't believe two things I was charged for. A "discretionary service fee", and a "living wage fee". I'm assuming these are fees every customer is charged and I'm guessing here but they are probably paying their employees more but making up the difference in pay by charging their customers fees. I am not the owner of this place, I am a customer. It is not my obligation to assist paying the employees wages. In fact this really pisses me off. How dare they? How about this: charge me for pizza, delivery, and taxes (ill provide the tip). That's it. How many people know they are being charged for this crap? Also a "discretionary fee"? Huh? What? I'm assuming these extra charges are somehow politically/socially motivated. I don't want any political/social issues with my pizza. I just want pizza, that's it. I love authentic pizza. However, when I stopped at Jet's to pick up my pizza to go, I noticed that they were dousing some sort of oily fluid from a clear squeeze bottle all over the entire pizza. When I got it home and tasted it, the entire flavor of the pizza came from this mystery fluid and NOT from the real ingredients that make pizza taste good naturally. Check them out if you're ever waiting to pick up an order, they're squirting the stuff on every pizza right after they cut it and as they slide it into the box. Well this was our last shot with Jets Pizza Fishhawk. Attempted to order via text had an issue called store and the man couldn't help but offered to take my order. I ordered chicken onion and green pepper a salad and a sausage pizza. Pizza arrives and we get to table and open box and it's covered in ham onion and green pepper. We do t eat ham on pizza .. never have we ordered ham on a pizza. I call and the man said that is what I ordered..I said no we never ever order ham we always order chicken.. look at my past orders. He stated he made what was on my order. Again I said we didn't order ham. I ask for manager and he stated he is the manager. I said I want credit for our next order and he said he would give me $5 dollars or make the pizza over. I said I don't want another pizza we will pick the ham off I want credit. My daughter had her pizza we want to eat together. He repeated his offer again and I said I had the owners number and would call her and hung up. I left the owner a msg and have yet to hear from her. Best "Take out" style Pizza. Good sauce toppings are fresh. Had the all meaty / Hawaiian split. I am usually not a fan of pepperoni on account of it being greasy usually. The pepperoni here was crispy but moist and had good overall flavor. Crust has a crisp airy taste with some flavors of a zeppole. You can't go wrong for fast decent pizza from a chain. read more

Ordered cheese bread and bbq wings this afternoon. Cheese bread was great. Wings were disgusting, small, dried out and the bones inside were broken. Called the store and spoke to the phone person, and then the "manager" Brandon. He apologized and seemed as an afterthought to give me credit on the wings. Jet's is an oasis in a desert of New York style pizza places. It is a true gem for anyone who has moved to Florida from the Midwest and misses thick pizza -- deep-dish, saucy, cheesy PIZZA, not the cracker-thin "pie" that all the transplanted New Yorkers here seem to want. That is something that needs to be said right there. If you want New York style pizza... Don't go to Jet's. Go to ANY of the other pizza places available you -- they ALL make the "pie" you like. Jet's is for delicious thick pizza, people. If you go to Jet's and order a thin pizza anyway, keep your complaining off Yelp. As for the pizza itself... Delicious! Cheese and sauce are both high quality and plentiful. The toppings are all good as well. There's not much crust around the edges, just a nice, crispy edge. We've really stopped getting anything but Jet's pizza at this point. Additionally, they offer both regular and boneless wings, and my kids who don't like any pizza (no matter how supernaturally good it is) report that they are good, too. This was the worst pizza experience I have ever had. I went to pick up my pizza for my family tonight. My pizza was not ready at the time promised but I was ok with that as I was told another six minutes. I continued to wait another 25 mins. The rude cashier came out to say all the tickets were messed up and they were cooking the my order. I asked again how long she said six minutes. I told her you already said 6 mins 30 mins ago when I first came in. I continued to wait for my food. My food was finally delivered to my car and the rude cashier starting rolling her eyes at me and said I don't appreciate your sass. I love Jets pizza! I grew up in Michigan (where they are HQ'd) and it is what I grew up with. I have to admit though the pizza in Florida isn't quite as good as it is up north. And it's not just this location, I have tried the shop in Brandon and the one on Bay Pines. There is no consistency, one time it will be awesome and the next time it's terrible. I'm visiting from out of town. I ordered a small Jet 10 thin crust. I was told 45-50 minutes and it was here in 40. The pizza is really good. Only problem is it was delivered borderline cold.
