As for the pizza, it was just okay for me. Nothing was wrong with it, but it didn't really wow me or stand out. Maybe I just need to try something different from the menu before making a final judgment. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another option because the atmosphere and menu were great!

We got talking to the owner, while we waited for the food to bake and he was a really nice guy with great plans for the future of his business. First off the garlic knots weren't what I expected, since I was thinking of just plain knots with garlic butter on it, but these had pesto and cheese melted on. It had great flavors, don't get me wrong, but it was just on the soggier side given the bread was under all that cheese. The pizza was delicious and thin, so the New York style was definitely there. Just wish it had a little more pesto and that it was on the drier side, since it was very oily. Other than that, the beef pepperoni we were told he uses were really tasty. Overall, pretty good food. Definitely going back to try the other things on the menu!

I got the Maria's bbq chicken pizza as well as The King specialty pizza with a side of garlic butter for dipping. Bryce rang me up quickly and my food was ready in about 10 mins. For 2 specialty large pizzas and wings, it was about $55 which seems pretty standard these days. The restaurant was clean and had about 3 small groups of people there on the weekday that I went. The tables were all bussed and everything seemed fine! Overall, the pizza was good, but I paid for the extra garlic sauce and didn't receive it. I guess I should have opened the pizza boxes to check, but I didn't want to expose them to the air. I think I got two sauces so it was like $3 so that's why I took off one star because they weren't especially busy to forget that part of my order.

We drove approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. And it did not disappoint!!! I apologize if there are any grammatical errors as this is a true and honest food review straight from the heart. We arrived at 5 PM on a Friday with plenty of parking available! We were immediately greeted upon entering! It is a very nice, clean and cozy restaurant! Perfect for a date night! My wife is from Illinois and she was definitely looking forward to get some nice thick Chicago style pizza! Our server was so nice and attentive! She took really good care of us! I should've gotten her name because she deserves the recognition! It was no surprise that a Chicago pizza can take 35-45 to cook so we went ahead and ordered the pizza along with the drinks. Once our drinks came, we went and ordered some appetizers while we waited. We ordered the sampler (wings, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks). I don't know how they did it, but the appetizers came out in a reasonable time! Wings: I ordered mine plain. I asked and they delivered! Nice and crispy on the outside, not burnt and perfectly cooked inside! It wasn't tough or oily! Mozzarella Sticks: Nicely breaded, not too thick on the breading, perfectly cooked with a nice cheese pull!!! Onion Rings: These are one of the best ones that I've had!!! Perfectly cooked, not burnt, nicely battered and not greasy! Everytime you take a bite, you get both batter and onion! Unlike many restaurants, you take a bite, you get the batter and the rest of the ring! Our server was so attentive and checked on us frequently and got us refills! Finally, the main event...Chicago style pizza (Stuffed Pizza) was brought to our table! I'm more of a NY thin crust pizza guy but this pizza did not disappoint! Pizza was nice, hot and cheesy!!! It had an amazing cheese pull!!! Really hit the spot and put me in a food coma before watching the HS football game lol We had to take the rest of the pizza to go lol. Overall...great place, great service, and great food!!! Thank you for an amazing experience!
