I don't think there's anything about this place that makes it special, but it's good. I do find it hard to find decent pizza places that's not a chain but this is that place. For a 2 liter soda and large pizza I think we spent ~$24. We came in on a Saturday night and there was nobody inside but they seemed to be getting some phone/ delivery orders. I had the lunch special 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and a fountain drink. Nice large NY style slices with perfect crust and sauce and pepperoni bursting with flavor. It came out of the oven after they took my order so it was nice and hot. You got parm and garlic at your table if you like. Lots of NY Yankees memorabilia on the walls with some Dallas Cowboys also. Jack FM playing in the dining area. The bathroom was very clean with both soap and hot water to wash your hands. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a side salad with house dressing. Salad had a lot of wet romaine lettuce and two very thin slices of a Roma tomato and one pepperoncini. That was a bummer for $5 bucks. The spaghetti and meatballs was a joke. No flavor in the sauce whatsoever. It was like they crushed up tomatoes and heated it up. I added black pepper, a little salt, Parmesan cheese , and red pepper flakes which didn't do much for flavor. No basil, garlic, or anything was in sauce. It pooled tomato juice on the plate. They give u a little loaf of bread that has more seasonings on it than the pasta .We had had the pizza at lunch before and it was good. Then when u order at counter and pay at the same time the tablet thing asks if u want to tip. What a joke. You order at the counter and pick up your own food from the counter when they call your name. Oh, and if u want a tea for a drink it's that nasty Gold Peak like fountain tea where u choose sweet or unsweet. It was bad . I poured mine out and got fountain lemonade. The place looks like any other mama & pops place nothing fancy. On the menu there's variety of food items such as pizzas, pastas, subs & many more. We decided on fried mushrooms and pastas. Fried mushrooms came out and the portions are good size but I think the sauce needed extra seasoning to it. Next my baked spaghetti with meat sauce... Our go-to's are- calzone, chicken piccata, clam linguine white sauce, and the chicken parm and meatball subs. This is a locally owned and the owner can be found at the oven most days. This is a BYOB if you'd like to bring in your favorite adult beverage. My hubby is from Chicago and can't seem to get enough of the specialty pizza (thick crust). Mansfield has a lot of good pizza places and this is definitely one. I prefer Brooklyn Pizza by a little but this one has a really interesting menu and they're very nice. We got the pizza lunch special, fried mushrooms and calamari, she also got some type of sandwich that was really good. It was also very cheap and a lot of food. I ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza and one ranch. I then decided to order mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, and 3 more ranches. I ordered online and went at my designated pickup time. The guy asked a girl sweeping if she put my sauces in the bag and she said yes. And usually places get mixed up so once I received my order I set it down just to double check it was correct. I noticed I was missing 2 ranches and I had paid for 4. It's not really a big deal money wise but I know someone wouldn't have gotten a ranch so I went back up to the counter and told them I was missing 2 ranches. The girl the proceeds to say she put 2 in the bag, I told her I had ordered 4 and she had nothing to say after that. It just felt like she was trying to accuse me of getting extra ranches that were only $1 like I hadnt paid for them. So I was slightly annoyed. The food was average. Next time I'll just stick to mod pizza or even dominos. I wanted SO bad for this place to be amazing because I live close but I will most likely will not be back here. If they couldn't impress on a pepperoni pizza idk about their other food. However, their fried mozzarella was really good. But even their garlic bread was trash. I would not recommend. It was almost $5 for some lightly buttered and season French bread. It was not good and mine was slightly burnt.. I could've done better at home. Sorry! I tried y'all out but not for me. read more
