Mountain Mike's pizza is one of my all time favorite pizzas, and I was so excited when they started coming to Texas. The sauce is incredible, and the pepperonis are some of the best I've had You can order from a variety of sizes that range from a personal pan pizza to "the Mountain" that has 20 HUGE slices. Like most pizzerias, you can order classic or signature pizzas, and you can build your own. I love the flavors, and I don't think any other chain compares. I also like that the slices a longer, somewhat thinner, and crispy at the bottom so it's firm when holding This location is relatively new.The staff is friendly and the service is solid. The interior is very clean. There are dine-in as well as take out options. If you dine in you can opt to add a salad/salad bar to your meal. While dining in there are tv's often playing sports, and there's also a handful of arcade options. They have alcoholic as well as non alcoholic options Some tips: It doesn't take too long to cook the pizzas, but you might want to call ahead just in case. Mountain Mike's Pizza is located off 287 and Broad adjacent to HEB whipping up pizzas, wings, and offers a lunch buffet during the week that comes with salad and a drink. I came through during the week to try out the buffet that operates Monday - Friday from 11am-2pm. The buffet comes with a drink and also a salad bar with many pizza options you can choose from. As I walked in, I was greeted by the welcoming staff at the service counter. I went ahead and placed an order for the buffet and was handed my drink cup and I was off to find a seat in the well-lit clean dining area. Inside there are many tables and chairs to sit at along with booths. There were many different pizza varieties to pick from and the staff did a great job progressive cooking the items to ensure great consistency and quality of the pizzas. I really enjoyed the crust and texture of the pizza and the sauce to cheese ratio was great. The toppings on the pizza were abundant and plentiful and were not skimped out on. The salad bar had tons of salad toppings to pick from such as sliced boiled eggs, pickles, olives and many others to choose from. Overall, I enjoyed the lunch buffet due to its many choices to pick from and fair prices. First time trying the pizza here and well, it was good, but not great. Price wise, it's on the pricier side considering the size of the pizza isn't that big, however, they are pretty generous with the toppings. Flavor wise, it was good. Just like a typical pizza from a chain pizza place. It's also on the thick side with the dough, if you're into that. I much prefer it on the thinner side. The churros were good, again, not great. We love the pizza, but the customer service was off. We went inside to place our order and got a medium Snowy Alps pizza, a medium Everest pizza, and mozzarella sticks. There were two girls at the register--one seemed to be in training. The girl taking our order was unsure about some of the menu items and kept asking the other girl for help. However, the other girl, who seemed to be monitoring her, was more focused on eating pizza than assisting. She was literally putting a slice in her mouth while standing at the register and continued eating as our order was being taken. A bit unprofessional, if you ask me. When we got home, two out of the three items we ordered were incorrect. Instead of one Snowy Alps and one Everest, we received two Snowy Alps pizzas, and instead of mozzarella sticks, we got cheese sticks. Unfortunately, we didn't think to check our order before leaving. It might be a good idea for management to check in on their employees and ensure they're focused on customers rather than eating at the register. This is a good pizza option for basic style pizza. I'd consider it like a slight step above delivery pizza. Thick crust, toppings piled on, and comes out hot and fresh. Is it super elevated quality? No. But the price is reflective of the level of quality. read more

This is really too bad ..idk if they brought people over from the Grand Prairie location cuz the pizza over here keeps getting worse and worse and similar to the Grand Prairie location debacle ...my pizza crust is almost never golden on the bottom it's usually brown and dark brown and old and dry and tough per the bite and that's because it's old and been left out too long and not treated correctly ...I can't order mountain size anymore cuz it's always too thing and old and then I went to large at least it wasn't thin but still old crust ..one time I had one pizza that was golden on bottom and another was brown and old and tough ..when it's gold crust on bottom it's fresh and delicate through the bite ...so today tried to get medium pizzas and crust is old and too brown and tough to the bite and now it's too flat again ..this is a bummer, I' try not to eat meat so I eat cheese pizza and such and like someone important up top in the company needs to know that your line cooks are ruining your recipes and your food and it's really too bad . read more

Obviously the pizza is great-- the personalization and pricing of the pizzas, the ambiance, etc. But what is even better is the business practice of the owners. Thanksgiving day, like many businesses they were closed. The night before my purse, including my car keys, were left. The owner used the time spent at home with his family to allow me to collect the bag. It is apparent he takes great pride in his establishment and will have my continued patronage. You give a 30 minute time frame for a pick up order then it takes 57 mins and when asked about it the "order taker" says he's not the one making it!!! You have rude people that work for you that want to argue back and forth with customers!! And then says well I checked on you 3 times.. IM SORRY BUT THATS YOUR JOB TO CHECK ON A CUSTOMER THAT WAS TOLD THE ORDER WOULD BE READY IN 30 MIN BUT TAKES AN HOUR!! This is the 2nd time I've come to the Mansfield location where an employee was rude. I can definitely understand being backed up but I don't understand rude workers or an employee acting like him checking on a customer is something that he gets praised for!!
