Jets is fast becomming one of my favorite area pizzas. Their Detroit style crust is thick but always crisp and delicious. I used to only order thin crust pizzas (and will always love them being a former east coaster) but jets has won me over with the 4 or 8 corner Detroit style. I ussually order delivery directly thru the restaurant and staff is always friendly, polite and prompt. Price does make me stop sometimes im not going to lie but i do like them the most of any other local pizza restaurants. Much but love from me for jets. Thank you. I placed an online order for eight of their hot wings. By the time I got there, they were ready. The guy behind the cash register was friendly. I received my food and to my surprise when you order wings, it comes with no ranch or blue cheese. It's an extra once I got my soda and paid for a dip. I was wondering why the price was higher than what I normally paid. If you can order before 3 PM, you can save three dollars. As they only have three tables to eat in and it was a nice day, I decided to eat outside. These Buffalo wings aren't of the crunchy side a little soft but good flavor. I ordered the hot and I'm sure it would be spicy for a lot of people just not for me. I wanted the heat turned up a little bit more. I've also tried their pizza which is in my opinion great with the garlic butter dipping sauce. You would definitely need gum or mints after eating that you can get a great during lunch hours. We ordered Jets for delivery on a Saturday night around 10:30. The service and the pizza were mostly good. Also, we wife is a celiac and likes their GF pizza. She got that with pepperoni, and we also ordered a 8 cut pepperoni and onions. 2 pizzas, 3 toppings total, and a dipping sauce. All told, it was $70. You read that right. $70 for two pizzas and a dipping sauce to be delivered and to be fair, it was $63 or something before tip....but you can't just stiff the guy. That's way way way way way too much. I won't be ordering from there again until they fix that price. Next time, I'll just cancel the order. It's insane. Also, the driver could not find my place. Fist of all, this restaurant is creepy as hell as they sent a coupon to our door with my name and birthdate on it. I've never heard of this place so I don't know where they bought my personal information. But I was like it, fk it I'll give it a try. Turns out it was actually really good. The Detroit deep dish pizza is really crispy on the bottom and good flavor with the right amount of cheese. However, the popcorn chicken is not really popcorn style. It's baked and way too dry and choking. Do not order that unless you like dry chicken breast. Did not end up using their coupon since you get 15% off order online and that's a better deal. Jets has been in Chicago for over a year now and I finally got a chance to experience it, they offer a two slice and a soda for about 10 bucks , the cheese and sausage which is usually my go to was ok , similar to Dominoes , but the Pepperoni slice was really good , but what makes them different than the other chains was their crust I felt it was really good , similar to the butter crust that Lou Malnattis dishes out . Jet's is a solid and welcome choice for Detroit Style Pizza in Chicago! To kick off the New Year, my partner and I ordered Jet's for the first time through a third-party online delivery app for dinner. We ordered the Four Corners Detroit-style pizza -- cheese topping only. The pizza arrived about an hour later and we were pleasantly surprised. The square "corners" of the pizza are a big size and have a buttery toasted cheese crust on the edges touching the pan, which was our favorite part. The cheese stood up to the crust well and the sauce was robust. It is worth noting that Jet's does it's own delivery as well for $4 from this location. The pizza itself was 15 dollars and worth the cost! Pleasantly surprised by this place. It pains me to say this since I know Chicago is a very good pizza city, but because a lot of them close "early" (if I'm craving a pizza at 11pm or midnight), my options get very limited to more generic and shitty pizza! Pequod's is fortunately still open pretty late, but other than that, all of the typical places like Sarpinos, Rosattis, etc become your only option and they are outrageously expensive if it's late and you're ordering on GrubHub or another food delivery app. Jet's Pizza is an exception to this. They are a chain, but they are a pretty damn good chain in my opinion. I know their other closest location after this one is in Ashland and is open later, but i'm fortunate this location in Andersonville exists because they close at midnight, and I was able to snag in a take out order before then. So my sister told me Jets Pizza has a pretty good pizza. Since then I have driven by location after location. Every time I think hmmm could today be the day. Well today 03/10/20 I finally made a life altering decision & stopped at this location on 5058 N Clark Street. I ordered a piece of Sausage pizza - I love the crust. It's not thin crust or deep dish just a medium sized crust w/a slight crunch & a chewy doughy texture. This is blended w/a good red sauce w/lots of chewy gooey hot mozzarella cheese & sausage. The blend is simple but delicious pizza. FYI you can order a single slice, multiple slices or a whole pizza. In respect to my expanding stomach I exercised self restraint & ordered a single slice (booo hooo). I actually asked for another piece, but then changed my mind. Jet's raised the bar and then some, not surprisingly. The crust is pan style, but very buttery and crunchy. It's different from other pan styles or deep dish and well worth a try from here. It had a decent amount of cheese and toppings, so no complaints there either. I would like to see a vegan option: that would raise the bar even higher. Delivery was on-time. Chicago guy here and I love the Chicago deep dish but dang Jet's Detroit style pizza is the bizness! The Interior = Typical walk in pick up with a couple tables. It's clean though :) The Service = I've always been treated well here. Employees are friendly The Food = Fan F'ing FANTASTIC! My typical order is an XL 8 corner sausage and mushroom deep with turbo crust plus an order of wings. Yeah yeah #fatkodproblems The wings are tender, tasty and pack some heat. The spicy buffalo sauce is the boss! Just a heads up, they are not fried but I'm ok with that :) Now onto the the star... The pizza sauce is great, good amount of cheese, sausage and mushroom toppings are flavorful BUT! That's not the star none of them are...the star is the CRUST! You believe that?! It's the crust! Ok the second time around is good. Don't do deep dish. Got the Eugene and BLT thin crust. Both were flavorful, but they forgot to put the lettuce on the BLT pizza. There was bacon though...thank the Gods. Since it was a pick up, I guess I should have checked that there was lettuce on it, but I am not use to checking my pizza orders to make sure that the advertised ingredients are all there. My personal opinion is that the deep crust dough sucks up the flavors of the toppings as I don't recall the tomato sauce at all. I can see myself ordering from here again just to nosh. Good to nosh on if you just want to eat. The Eugene is very good as you can taste the tomato sauce, which was very good. Love the pickled banana peppers that are on it. This one pizza is enough to have me stop in from time to time. Ahh, Jett's is such a guilty pleasure. It is Detroit style pizza at its not finest, but tastiest. This pizza is the exact opposite on a thin crust wood fire brick oven pizza with fresh farm to table ingredients. The chicken parmesan had so much flavor along with a crunchy crust. I call it a guilty pleasure because no one should eat this pizza on a regular basis. I felt so bad (emotionally) after indulging in such an unhealthy pie. The crust alone is I don't know......oily/buttery. I don't even want to know the calories that came with it. You can even get ranch dressing to dip your pizza in. I thought it was strange at first, but after trying a ranch soaked piece, it was delightful. I advise you to try Jett's and if you like this type of pizza, please eat in moderation. read more

I love Jet's. They are my favorite pizza chain by far. This location used to be good for delivery when they first opened, and I have been ordering at least 1x every two months for the past several years. Alas, things have deteriorated steadily for the past 6 months, to a place where I think I am done with them. I live a little over a mile drive from the location, and previously would get my delivery within 45 minutes. More recently, they would send you a message telling you it will be 55 min, but the reality was within the 65- 90 min range. I had one of the drivers leave the pizza on the ground in front of my door in February. When I informed the manager, they told me they can replace the pizza if I wait another hour, and give them back the old pizza, which is incredibly silly. Most recently, I waited 1hr and 40 min on a Thursday night. Naturally, the pizza is cold when it arrives. The manager had nothing to offer and I have no more orders for them. read more

I've ordered from here multiple times and things have, for the most part, been good. Today I ordered a pizza with jalapeño and pineapple and what got delivered 50 minutes later was a pepperoni and pineapple pizza... not quite the same. I called and spoke with a girl who said they could remake it and have it to me within 20 minutes or give me a $10 credit. I asked for it to be remade and 40 minutes later my buzzer rang. I asked for a contactless delivery with the pizza to be placed outside my apartment door on the 3rd floor (which happened the first time), but this time whoever delivered it threw it just inside the front door, under the mailboxes, and when I opened the box everything was moved off the top of the pizza to the sides/box. I got a slice of pepperoni, and while the ingredients were pretty standard, the sauce was really pretty tasty. Weirdest experience ever with a Jets Pizza. I decided to order through Grubhub to because I got a perk from them, so why not? Their menu on there is all sorts of messed up. They have pictures of items next to listings that aren't actually representative of the pizza you get. I'm not talking like the pizza wasn't as pretty, it was a totally different pizza next to the listing. I thought I ordered Detroit style, instead I got pan. Boo. The pizza gets here, and I open it up. I'm disappointed, and check the receipt, which shows pan was sent over as the order. So I get on the line with Grubhub. They tell me that the restaurant is who uploads the images for the pizza. I figured a chain would be managed by the parent company, but nope, the store set up their own Grubhub page as it turns out. So I'm hungry, I decide to just eat what was delivered. I'm holding on the line still with Grubhub as the rep talks to the store, and take a bite of a slice. Lemme tell ya, this was the most undercooked rubbery pizza I've ever had, and I've had Sarpinos at 3am. It was at this point that the rep comes back to talk to me, and tells me that the store wants me to tall them so they can explain... At which point I inform her that the pizza was undercooked. She calls back, the store refuses to do anything about it. I tell her I'm not paying for undercooked pizza. After some back and forth, she reverses the charges, and I tossed the pizza right where it belonged. Outside, in the dumpster. I've ordered from this shop every once in a while, and before this, they've been great. But after this, there are too many pizza places in Chicago to order from them again. read more

Jet's is AWESOME. I've always passed by this place since I visit the Andersonville neighborhood to go grocery shopping, drop something off at UPS, window shopping or any number of other things while I'm here. But I've never actually tried it until work-from-home became a regular thing (because of the Covid-19 quarantine) and I was really craving pizza. First offs, I would recommend against ordering by text since you'll be paying almost about menu price a lot of the time, even with the discounts they might offer you. Some of that pricing just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Secondly, ordering through their online website usually lets you get the best deal -- namely the $14 large "Mediterranean" pizza (without black olives mind you, but still decent) or the $19 8-corner single topping pizza with 4 20oz sodas which by far is my favorite deal (since a regular 8-corner pizza will run you $20 at menu price, and doesn't come with any soda). My choice of order is usually the 8-corner pizza with turbo crust and whatever topping I'm feeling -- they're all really good. The bold pepperoni is very meaty and tasty, especially. Also, the turbo crust is something you can get free of charge and makes your crust so much better. I don't need to go into too much detail why Detroit deep dish is such a guilty pleasure, but Jet's always has it down to a tee. A lot of care goes into making your pizza and it always comes out amazing. If you want pizza and you're willing to pay a little more than some silly national chain restaurant, Jet's should be a serious contender on your list. read more

We used to order from a different location, great service & 'zas, but sometimes they wouldn't be able to deliver during busy times. So glad that a location opened up near us. 1. They get their first three stars for having single slices available pretty much all of the time. I know lots of places do that, but for me it's always about serving size and availability of said slices. I was pleased with my walking around slice. 2. The fourth star comes from service with a smile. It looks and smells like a neighborhood pizza place and the staff was very friendly, so they're off to a good start. 3. I've never had Jet's before, and my review is based on a single slice of sausage pizza. I'm 99% sure I'll update after further experiences. The pan sausage pizza tastes suspiciously like Pizza Hut pizza. Not saying that's bad, but I was expecting something different. I would happily order from here instead of Pizza Hut.
