MCO-SYR. Excellent leg room. Seats were comfortable and the best landing I've ever experienced. Only downside is that the plane was like 30 years old and the in-flight entertainment was not from 2025 so we weren't able to watch movies. But I love the airline. They gave me a full soda can and I didn't ask for one! Nice people

I just completed my first flight with Jet Blue, my normal carriers have recently failed miserably so I decided to try another airline and I will say finding this direct flight out of MCO to BDL and back was smooth sailing. The entire experience from signing up for their TrueBlue rewards program to booking this flight online was a painless and efficient experience. With the recent reliability issues across the entire airline industry I try and book direct flights whenever possible especially since 2022 has been a year of delays and cancellations - it's not a guarantee of trouble free flying but the risk is greatly reduced so I take the best odds I can get even if I have to pay up a little. The A320 Aircraft is a beautiful piece of engineering, Jet Blue's configuration allows you the option of picking a wider much roomier seat with lots of leg room there is a modest up charge for these premium seats but there nothing like it in the industry that I know of excluding first class of course. The boarding process out of Orlando was well organized and smooth thanks to some very friendly and professional gate agents and the Jet Blue crew onboard provided that same level of service and professionalism. I know this is just a snap shot but I'll definitely look at them for future flight when the destination align...

the funeral I missed

Had a flight 5/8/25. It was for my grandmothers funeral, they delayed the flight over ten times because of weather when nothing was even showing on the radars. My flight was at 5:30pm and took off at 1:30am and I didn't get to go on said flight because my mother had work and I wouldn't have anyone to pick me up in CT from the airport. I ended up missing her funeral. That is something no refund will ever be able to fix.

Another delay. Sunny. No bad weather. Plane is at gate

Will these airlines ever get it right? I suggest the FAA make them start eliminating flights so they aren't operating with skeleton crews!! They have crammed too many flights together. It would be interesting to compare on time departures to fifty years ago. It is a rare occurrence to have a flight leave on time anymore. When planes land, it takes 10-15 minutes for the jetway to be attached. In Orlando it's minimum 40 minutes to get your bag. If you add all these times together- two hours at airport for pre departure, three hour flight time, 10 minutes to attach jetway, 40 minutes for bag- you now have six hours invested. If we had high speed trains like Japan, China and Europe the trip would be the same time!! My last flight on jet blue leaving Orlando was five hours delayed We shall see what out outcome is today!! There is no trick to picking flights. Early or later in the day does not matter. They all SUCK!!'

Michael and Karla - flight attendants on flight from Orlando to Newark. An absolute joke and spiteful! An embarrassment to the organization! The plane was ready to take off and they moved a family from back to the front to balance the plane, according to them. So I ask Karla may I move up two rows and she says no due to weight. I then ask her how would you know being in the back she says because the captain. Two minutes later Michael walks back talks to Karla and miraculously the weight was corrected and they asked another couple if they wanted to move to open seating. I then questioned Michael and told him I had just asked and the response was "I don't know what your talking about!" I turn back to Karla and say. I just asked you and she shrugged her shoulders. Unacceptable and their response was out of spite and disrespect.

Decent service on JB today. The flight was packed & the flight attendants were friendly. I had payed the $48 for an upgraded seat 1a and it was decent but I've had better seats on United & Delta that cost me the same. They did offer in flight drinks so that was nice

I would like to make it very clear that this review is ONLY for the JetBlue gate area at the Orlando Airport. After the most difficult time getting through TSA, the line literally looped through the airport; thank God we came early enough; the gate area was a breeze. The employees were great loading the plan and got us out of there quickly. The waiting area was clean and well organized. I like JetBlue's operations.

I will say I have yet to fly Spirit. I first flew Frontier over 10 years ago since they had a Direct Flight from Orlando to San Diego. I got "the works" package or whatever they call it and it was wonderful. More recently, I was going to Charlotte and American was absolutely ridiculous at $800 round trip. Frontier had it for $182 with a "good" seat that I chose when booking the flight. Being somewhat unfamiliar with the process, and having priority boarding, I asked the 3 ladies at the counter, after standing there for a few minutes while they just BS'ed with each other how boarding works. They said they'd call for the priority boarding. Well, after listening and waiting and going through pre-boards and military and all of the other more deserving people getting on the plane, they never said the word "Priority", I guess they call it something different that's 'on the boarding pass which makes it confusing. As far as prices and getting there, it's a pretty good option even if you have a carry-on and are checking a bag. The drink and food options on the plane were a bit pricey so I'd say load up at the Airport first. You get what you pay for for sure. But they got me there on-time which is half the battle. But the gate staff was 1-star for being so unhelpful. I'd fly them again if I had to, but never again by choice.

Several hours at the airport was already expected and accounted for, but then my Alaska Airlines flight was delayed for no reason and continued to be delayed at every hour interval until we finally left the ground at 11pm. We were never told why it was delayed so much. There is absolutely nothing to do at this airport, or at least in the terminal I was in. They could at least add some random small Disney store or fun bar in the area! There weren't any charging stations or work tables to busy oneself. I just spent the time pacing back and forth the outdated large hallway watching some idle planes, and sat around. On the flight, they didn't even give us more than one snack to compensate! The TSA line was oddly long, too. It wrapped around several times, but it may have been because of recent REAL ID confusion. They seemed to be on the watch for something, because they had some dogs walking back and forth as people crossed a section one by one. At least the security is active here? Checking in a few hours before board time got us a window and adjoining seat near the middle of the plane, behind the wings. For certain T-Mobile plans, you get free wifi on the plane. Entertainment is only offered when you connect to your own device - they removed the seat tablets. There are USB and charging outlets on the seats. I usually prefer flying with Alaska Airlines, but this experience was maddening.

If you have your Magic Band ready when you get off the plane, it's incredibly easy, and you just walk up and scan your Magic Band and they tell you what line to stand in. Line 10 is AKL for both villages and Coronado. A personal gripe of mine; I don't think Deluxe resorts should have to share busses. Before this trip, we'd always stayed at Polynesian and Grand Floridian. They are both Deluxe resorts, and they share with Contemporary, and all of those resorts are right next to each other, so it didn't really bother me. But this time we were at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and we stopped at Art of Animation and Pop Century before getting to AKL. I just think the Deluxe resorts are so much more expensive that they could get their own busses. In any case, I landed at the airport at 3:45, was on a bus by 4:15, and on resort at 5:07. I don't think it's worth the cost of an Uber to get there like a half hour faster, but that's up to you. One thing that's great about Disney is that you don't need to worry about transportation at all once you get there, and I really appreciate that. And if you check bags, you don't even need to get those, and they'll deliver them right to your room. I had a very early flight home though, and they picked me up excessively early. I got picked up at 5:30am for an 8:30am flight. I didn't have luggage, but if I did I could have checked it at the resort, so no one needs to be at the airport that early. I sat around for a good 2 hours before my flight. That might have been worth taking an Uber just so I could sleep another hour.
