I never had a bad experience with Jet Blue. Flying with them since 2002. The crew always give A++++ service.

If there was an option for ZERO I would've left it. First JetBlue loses my reservation I made 2 MONTHS ago, takes them forever to fix and I almost miss my flight, then they delay the flight, then when I go to board they tell me I have to check my bag because there's no room, I tell them what I've been through, tell them I have 2 friends at the back of the plane who could take my luggage and ask them to please check again, they say no I must check it, I get to my seat at 3E at the front of the plane and what do I see across from me? A at MINIMUM 5foot long space for another suitcase and another space 2 rows behind that. THIS IS THE WORST FLYING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!!!! I WOULD PAY anything to fly with someone else or sooner drive then have to deal with this rude, incompetent airline again. read more

If I could leave a half star I would. I have never had such a horrible airline experience. My quick flight from DC to Phx turned into a 2 day adventure with nothing but ignorant helpless people in the process. The only helpful person was the true blue agent I called on the phone. They charged me $35 for my extra bag which they ended up losing and didn't refund my money. The flight got delayed 5 TIMES and they refused to put me on the next flight out which caused me to miss my connecting flight. Horrible, horrible, horrible, customer service. Especially with their prices, I will never be flying JetBlue again. Never have I been this dissatisfied with an airline. In fact, this is the first time I've ever left an airline review, that's how horrible it was. read more

Jetblue gate agents consistently refuse to enforce their own baggage policies. They allow anyone in an early boarding group to carry on oversized bags, or three plus bags, then force everyone in the last boarding group to give up their bags and wait around baggage claim for them. As somebody who packs light specifically to avoid baggage claim on frequent business trips, I won't fly Jetblue again. Very disappointing. read more

I do not fly JetBlue often, but will seriously reconsider next time I fly. They lost my luggage and I am currently still waiting on receiving it 24 hours after my flight. I called them today asking when i should expect my luggage and After being told it would take 20-30 minutes, then 2-4 hours, then 4-6hours, here I am going on 7.5 hours and still no luggage. Somehow, me and 6 other unlucky passengers left the airport empty handed. How does 7 pieces of luggage not make it on the plane?! While waiting in line to file a claim, which took upwards of 45 minutes because the JetBlue employee had no sense of urgency, we discussed how this could happen when lost luggage was a thing of the past (or so we thought). The plane itself and the trip was great, but that becomes null and void when you leave without your belongings. You start to think crazy things are happening to your luggage when it is not in your possession. I just hope no one is trying on my dresses and shoes. Update: still waiting. Did not arrive after they promised it would in 1.5 hours, it's been 3.5. They said the driver was stuck in traffic. Some traffic... read more

This is a phone review. I just got off the phone with Susan from the Jet Blue call center. She was friendly, patient and extremely helpful. Someone I'm traveling with has special needs and she was kind enough to make sure the reservation included the necessary accommodations. Additionally, she gave me excellent information about military baggage fees, etc. read more

Fantastic service as always. Was particularly impressed by the professionalism and helpfulness of Jessica at my DCA gate. When I (just barely) missed my flight, she had me on standby for the next flight an hour later without me even asking. No fee charged by Jetblue. The fantastic customer service is what keeps me coming back. Every little thing that makes air travel feel less like being shoved into a cattle car counts, and Jetblue consistently delivers! read more

I received the worst service from Jet blue. Nadia in the lost baggage claim service was extremely rude in explaining their responsibility for our lost bags. We paid jet blue 60.00 for 2 bags and they were not there when we arrived. We were asking for our money back and was told we were entitled to 30.00 due to an agent error. I will never fly jet blue. Incompetent and rude. Supervisor was absolutely no help. read more

Unprofessional and rude. They really need to teach their staff courtesy. First of all, my mother and grandmother's flight was cancelled due to bad weather. They were only offered a food voucher then were given a number to contact for a discounted hotel stay which they weren't qualified for because of location of their airport. We ended up picking them up and bringing them back the next day. The woman at the counter the next day didn't even smile or greet us. Just asked where they were flying to. When my mother explained their situation, the woman asked rudely "did you miss your flight or did your flight get cancelled?" I then intervened and stated that their flight got cancelled.. she then looked at me and asked "who's flying here?" As if she were dismissing me. I told her that only they were flying and that I was there to ensure they get on their plane because of their ordeal yesterday. Anyway, there were no apologies or promises kept by this airline. They promised them upgraded seats but weren't given them. Plus my grandmother is old and handicapped. We understand inclement weather happens but their staff need to get educated on how customer service works or at least learn to smile. Rude read more

Great airline, good customer service, plenty of room on the flight. This is the first time I've flown with them and everything was good except the delayed flight in Orlando and the TVs kept messing up. read more

I never had a bad experience with Jet blue until my last trip (September 2, 2015), Here the letter I sent to Ms Jenna who don't sign last name - Corporate Customer Support Jetblue Airways. Reference number CID 4900980 and your confirmation number, XDIRUN Ms Jenna, No words can express that really bad time that your employees made us feel. We have no problems with the regulations and we understand that your employees must follow them. The way that your employees manage the situation was really disrespectful, First able, the lady at frond desk she never showed a way to try to cooperate, she was rude and sarcastic. We had to asked three times to call the supervisor, until finally she appeared after almost 30 minutes waiting for her. Ms Suzane didn't show acknowledged the issue only repeated and repeated about the "head letter". and zero empathy in our situation. Especially when we informed her, that we travel six times before with the same letter and that day is when we are notified that our letter doesn't follow the the regulations. It really unfortunate that customer like us who use Jet-blue services of flying fly 8-10 times a year; have been treated this way so inconsiderate and disrespectful; where your employees showing zero acknowledged and empathy. Jet Blue says they are all about the customer but my husband has been stuck on a plane for 1 hour and 45 minutes so far. Passengers were on the plane for 45 minutes before they announced that the destination airport was closed for thunderstorms. Said they would take off by 5 ... but not announcement again for another 45 minutes and not allowing anyone off the plane. They could do better to at least explain the situation. read more

I will NEVER EVER fly with JETBLUE again. They lost our luggage in a direct flight. We had a cruise right after and my wife didn't have anything to wear during the whole trip. When they found our luggage 4 days later, many items were stolen including my work computer. I know this is my fault - and I should have known that JetBlue does not hold Liability for electronics which is not the case for other Airlines!! The luggage was also completely wet an smelly. Total loss was more than $3'000. They called us to offer $100 for our next Trip with JetBlue. Joke. The worst is that 8 weeks later we still haven't received the refund of the $100 per day max for toiletry and few clothes that my wife bought on the cruise even though we've sent a letter that explains all what happened and called the Central Baggage Service many times. They don't give a S. It was for our anniversary. Thanks JetBlue. read more

I have flown JetBlue a few times and never really had any problems until my latest flight. We were diverted to Washington, Dulles because of weather. No problem or so I thought. We were in and off the plane several times before being told that we would be stuck there. This was Tues. They then informed us that there were no rental cars or hotel rooms available and they could not fly us out until Thurs. night! At this point all shops and restaurants were closed and our flight originally left at 11am. There was no offer of water or snacks from the plane and no remorse or sincere apology from the staff. They said "sorry, you are on your own". I have never seen such a horrible display of human compassion and customer service. I understand they can not control the weather. However, they can control how their passengers are treated and we were not treated well. After going through 5 airports and driving through 7 states I finally made it to my destination. Upon contacting Jetblues customer service, I was told " It wasn't their fault'. They did give me a small credit toward another flight, which I feel was no where near enough and never gave a sincere apology. I really hope they re-train their employees to have a little more compassion when dealing with scared and confused passengers. read more

Original flight cancelled. JetBlue out me on another of their flights; said it was 15 minutes later. Great. But turned out to be 2 1/2 hi ours later. No explanation, no announcement , just wait. Zero communication. Sucks! read more

Ever since Jet Blue dumped their service oriented CEO in favor of a Wall Street tool, service has plummeted. In addition to bag fees and an average fare increase of 75% the airline is busy cramming more seats in increasingly filthy planes. On time performance is also lagging. The last 6 times I've flown out of DCA to Charleston the flight has been at least an hour late--today 3 hours late and this for a 60 minute flight if you're flying Jet Blue, rethink your strategy. read more

Their cancelation policy is absurd. They are the only airline I have ever dealt with that charges $100 to cancel a flight. Even a flight that only cost me $5 because it was booked with points. They are too greedy because trying to get more money from the person cancelling and the person they will sell the open seat to. Not to mention their customer service on the phone was not very helpful. Jetblue can go ahead and cancel my membership because I will never fly with them again even if the flight was free. I would rather give my money to a company like Southwest that knows how to treat it's customers. read more

I cancelled my HONEYMOON to PR due to Hurricane Maria. JetBlue, though the circumstances were out of my control, refused to refund my ticket and gave me partial credit. In addition was charged $100 fee for cancellation. I can understand their policy if I just changed my mind, but this was a natural disaster and PR is not a place anyone should be going to, unless its for relief efforts. Its unbelievable that they seem to find keeping money is more important that good customer care. Due to the bad taste they left in my mouth, I will never fly jetblue. I will pay more money for another airline than deal with a company like JetBlue. read more

This is definitely an upgrade especially when we used to fly Spirit all the time I told her fiancé that I am sick and tired of flying spirit with your poor customer service. I want to give a BIG thumbs up to JetBlue and their treatment/response to their clients before, during and after Hurricane Irma. While many airlines were increasing fares, JetBlue REDUCED their and, they made it very easy to make a changes in flights during this hectic time. What a nightmare of an airline!!! There aren't many things I can guarantee in life but not stepping foot on a JetBlue airliner is one of them. The most egregious thing as their customer service. My family was super excited to fly to Ft. Lauderdale to prepare for a long planned Bahamas cruise. Upon checking in I was told my two year old son couldn't be held in lap for the flight -- news to me since Delta hadn't cared. That was extremely harsh to charge $362 ONE WAY for my two year old to scream in a seat he wasn't going to sit in alone anyway. Sure enough he didn't. Nice little chunk out if our vacation budget. The clerk's attitude is what really did it. He was straight up rude and matter of fact about this. Almost as if he was angry because I didn't know jetBlue's policy. His demeanor was unprofessional. The flight itself -- thx to the winter olympic kickoff all flights were delayed. Ours was delayed twice well over an hour & half. Then we sat for 20 minutes on the runway. Hoooooorrriiible. The flight attendants were great and the only beacon of hope. Dreaded the return flight back to DC. It wasn't as bad. Took forever to get luggage on the conveyor belt as well. Mercifully the trip ended. But I will avoid JetBlue at all costs in the future. You should too. And Delta treats us active duty service members far better. This trip was the beginning of last month. read more

Awful. My 86 minute flight was delayed 90 minutes, landing too late to make my meeting, so I didn't board. JetBlue refused to refund my fare because "it was only delayed, we didn't cancel it". Jeez! read more

JetBlue is one of the few airlines that I'm willing to fly with my kids - I've never had a bad experience. They usually offer a direct flight to wherever we're going, which is very important to me. On the rare occasions that we've experienced flight delays, the gate attendants have done a great job keeping us updated regularly on the flight's status. The planes are relatively clean inside, the flight attendants are friendly, and they've got a great selection of free snacks (Terra Chips!!!!). We've also been lucky to be on their flights with free wi-fi, which makes a world of difference. We also buy the extra legroom seats, which feel like they give you a truly massive amount of space compared to the normal airplane seat (I can't recall the last time we didn't get the extra room seats, so I can't compare them to Jetblue's regular seats). read more

Excellent customer service. I missed my flight due to the Metro being backed up. They quickly rebooked me, hooked me up by only charging a same day change fee(even though the flight is actually the next day). They even went through the trash can with me to retrieve some high end cologne and other toiletries TSA made me throw out because I had originally planned on checking the bag but clearly didn't have time. Really wish I asked for the name of the gentleman who helped me so he could get the recognition he desertves, he was the man! read more

Until now I've had great experiences with JetBlue, including when my grandmother died this summer (the representatives were very kind and helpful). However today was a very different experience. My family was visiting for Thanksgiving when we heard that one of our relatives died unexpectedly. We called JetBlue twice (and spend about 20 minutes on hold waiting for a supervisor) to ask to change our parents' flight and/or cancel and ask for a credit for a future flight (since the tickets were four times the cost of the original ticket) and JetBlue refused to even waive the change fee. Overall they offered to cancel the flight (allowing them to re-sell the seats for a significant profit) and charge a $75 fee per person leaving our parents with a $7 credit for a future flight. In addition, the first representative and supervisor were not sympathetic, though the second supervisor was more polite which was appreciated (though he still refused to waive the fee). Overall this was an incredibly disappointing experience with JetBlue and wasn't what they put forth in advertising nor was it the good experience we've all come to expect. read more

I've been flying Jet Blue for years, I put up with the T.V's not working, the flight not always leaving on time and the not so clean planes because they are reasonably priced and fly non stop to the places I travel.I booked my roundtrip flight to San Diego to spend nine days with my son during Thanksgiving. The flight out was fine but as I go online to check in for my return flight home , I see that my 10:20 flight back to Boston is now delayed until midnight and it's leaving from Los Angeles!! O.K. well that's about four hours away,so, how am I supposed to get there in time? I call to see what was going on and I'm told that the flight has been changed to leave from LA, not sure why, but possibly fog. Long story short there was no flight available for the next day which was Saturday and my best friends 60th Birthday Celebration. So I missed that. and then they say they can get me on a flight Sunday night that will get me into Boston at 6:30 a.m., since I have to be in work at 7:00 a.m., this was really pushing it! They booked me on a flight that would layover in NY and get me into Boston at midnight, but the only seat available was a middle seat. The reason I booked my flight many weeks in advance was so I could have a non stop and a window seat! I saw that there was an extra leg room seat available on this flight and asked if I could have that seat, stating that I did not feel I should have to pay the extra fee for it because of the huge inconvenience I have been going through all weekend! I was told I'm sorry Mam but I can not do that for you because your flight was NOT cancelled! Are you kidding me?/ I Never take out my frustration on the person who is on the other end of the line,,BECAUSE IT IS NOT THEIR FAULT! Fortunately I was able to stay the extra two days with my son, but what if I'd been staying at a hotel...that would have been an added expense. I had already booked another flight with Jet Blue for April before this happened, , bur luckily it was only one way so I will be booking my return flight on another airline. The irony of this is my husband is a retired Airline Employee and we can fly on passes,, but there is always the chance that because you fly stand by you may not get on the flight you need or get stranded somewhere, we usually choose to fly Jet Blue. I'd think I'd rather take my chances flying on a pass then have to take my chances with Jet Blue again. read more

Yeah, so, had a trip planned to Costa Rica. Vacation. Was supposed to leave tomorrow morning first thing. Late this afternoon, Jet Blue sends me an email that my flight has been cancelled. Bad weather. So I call the 1-800 number and sit on hold for 25+ mins until the line literally goes dead. Call back, wait another 25+ mins to speak to a human. Nothing they can do, I'm told. Only option is to book a day after my original reservation. But, of course, there's no guarantee that flight will leave either. Bad weather. So, reluctantly I cancel the entire trip -- and take a big hit from AirB&B on my deposit. Awful, awful experience and the frustration of having to make TWO calls to JetBlue that each required 25+ minutes of listening to hold music is unconscionable. Salt in the wound? Just received an email from JetBlue saying "you're ready to fly" with my original itinerary. Plus no credit to my bank account for cancelled ticket. I'll use Southwest next time. read more

If I could give JetBlue zero stars I would. After a delayed flight, JetBlue decided to close the gate two minutes earlier than the time indicated on their screen, while I was in the restroom. Not only did I receive eye rolls and rude speech from the supervisor on duty at DCA, but I spent nearly two hours on the line with customer service, during which I was not only spoken to more rudely by a customer service representative than I ever have been in my life, but furthermore, hung up on by a second customer service supervisor and told by a third on a subsequent call that nothing could be done even after admission of JetBlue's fault in the matter. This is the first Yelp review I have ever written in my life and I did so only in the hope of sparing others from the horrific unpleasantness, unprofessional experience, and overall passing-the-buck with zero results from an impolite staff which I experienced from JetBlue. Don't fly JetBlue, fly anything else if you care about your time, sanity and money. read more
