My husband and I went to purchase a car from this business, driving 3.5 hours from Connecticut to…read moreNew Jersey. I had called on 12/8/22 to verify if the car was still there. We were told by the owner that it was, we made him aware we would be able to come Friday to buy the car. He stated that he was up at 7 am and to give him a call anytime after that to verify again. My husband called at 8:11 am on 12/9/22 to verify again that the car was still available. He told George, the owner, his name and that we were driving 3.5 hours to buy this car therefore we needed to be sure it was still there and we were going to buy it outright as we didn't want to waist our time. George said it was no problem, he would see us then (he had said around 12:30). We pull up and are greeted by a man who is already with another gentleman starting a transaction. We tell him the car we are there for he tells us it is open and to go check it out. We come back inside and sit down waiting to be able to do a test drive. The gentlemen goes and puts temp plates on the car, came back in, said something unintelligible to us and sat to finish with the gentleman he was helping. We sat for about 10-15 minutes while we waited for our turn to test drive and I saw the salesperson lift up a piece of paper and low and behold I saw the car that we were supposed to be buying. Come to find out that the car we were supposed to be buying was being sold right under us. We got up and told the salesperson that we had driven 3.5 hours to buy this car, that we had verified with the owner that we were buying the car. That if they were going to sell the car, they should have given us a call and made us aware instead of wasting 7 total hours and gas. He told us we could have put a deposit down to which we replied that we were not offered that and that we had spoken about buying this car outright to George already. My husband called George and told him it was extremely messed up that we had driven so far for this car for this situation to happen. George mumbled back talk about how it's not his fault and he's sorry for our drive but sorry does not make up for our waisted time and money. George stated that he thought the gentleman who had come in was us, yet he had our name, which clearly didn't match the guy who was buying the car. Excuses were made, time was wasted, common courtesy would have gone a very long way in this situation.

Not good car buying experience at route 130 motors. No customer service and owner was rude.read more

One star is too much for these people. My son was in a pinch and needed a car fast, so we went to…read morethis local dealership. What a massive mistake! PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! The car had an oil leak that we were assured it would be fixed. We had to take to his mechanic JR in Burlington for the repairs to be without the car both times over two weeks. A third time it was towed to his mechanic. This car has been nothing but a headache and such a terrible experience for a first time car buyer. Fast forward less than a year and the car is disabled yet again. His "mechanic" "fixed" the oil leak at the front main seal behind the crank by removing the crank pulley then putting a massive amount of silicone sealant and most likely used an impact gun to tighten the crank pulley back on. Well that sheared off and car is useless. Malik, the manager I spoke with again today at their location and he said my son never complained about the oil leak again... yes because if we were tired of taking it 25 minutes away and being without it for a week or more. I was told to call his mechanic and he should fix it. I was told he should have bought the warranty... Look at the other negative reviews folks, I do not in my right mind believe any of the positive reviews are true. These people buy broken cars from auctions, have their "mechanic" polish those turds up and they sell them in our town for top dollar and push warranties for fix what is eventually going to break down. I will be going to the township and speaking with the administrator about their business practices in our town.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD…read more This place is a JOKE and should be shut down. Absolute scam artists. They straight-up LIED about the car I came to see. Bait-and-switch tactics all the way. I stupidly agreed to another car, only for them to drag their feet for 3 WEEKS before actually giving me the one I already signed for. Then they made me wait another 4 days for a "detail" job that looked like a toddler with a wet rag did it. And the cherry on top? TWO MONTHS later the car needed a brand new engine. When I called, they told me they wouldn't fix it unless I dropped my warranty. Who the hell does that? Completely crooked. I found a shop that would honor the warranty, but thanks to Car N Drive's garbage service and shady dealings, I'm still out $2,000 of my own money. They do NOT stand behind their cars. They do NOT take responsibility. They smile, take your money, and leave you with a lemon. This is the kind of place that gives used car dealerships the worst reputation imaginable. If you value your sanity, your wallet, and your car -- stay as far away from Car N Drive Bordentown as possible.

The car salesmen, who are also owner and co-owner, are Victor Vasquez and Harriot Bin Laden. Victor is the most honest, trustworthy man I've personally ever met inside the car sales business. He has a large selection of vehicles. Trucks are his big seller, although he has cars and SUV as well. The best part about Victor's trucks are that most, if not all, are from Texas. Which as we all know, gets no snow or any weather that would cause the vehicle rust damage. He has all the options you might look for, be it Gas or Diesel fueled engines, with/without turbocharged package, automatic/manual transmission. If he doesn't have it, he can easily get it. He's not one for beating around the bush, hiding any detail big or small, good or bad. Speaks fluent English/Spanish. And each and every single vehicle he has for sale, is thousands of dollars under the KBB value. He has several options for purchasing the desired vehicle of your choice. Cash deals, financing, buy here/pay here. In my own opinion as a employee of the dealership, which I might add that I am not his employee, He is the go to guy for all your car buying needs. Harriot, goes by Harry, my boss, I would steer clear of this man. And no I'm not throwing dirt on his name and reputation because he's my boss, and no one likes their boss. No. I say this because this man is a chronic liar. He sells his cars with promises. Most vehicles he has for sale, have minor to major problems with them. Most have check engine light on. When potential buyers bring up the fact of these problems, Harry will assure you that he will fix them for free, asap, and that it is not a problem at all. If I had a dollar for each time he said that, and also for every time a buyer took him up on that promise, and he never delivers, I'd literally have $179. Yes I actually counted. He buys his cars at Manheim Auto Auction. Which is a outstanding business. However, the vehicles Harry purchases are to the outside appearance, pretty good looking vehicles. But mechanically not sound by any means. He sends me personally to junk yards all around NJ and PA to get the parts we need to make the vehicle complete and somewhat acceptable. 90% of the vehicles bought by Harry at auction, are purchased under $2500.00. Just keep that in the back of your mind while you browse the lot and look at his asking price. Now I get it, it's s business he's got to make money to stay above water. But this guy is just terrible. He is extremely racist towards Americans. Since most of U.S. Citizens don't speak or understand the Turkish language (Harry is from Turkey) you can bet your bottom dollar he is talking trash about you/bragging about how he's screwing you over and you're to dumb to see it. Hand to God, this happens every time. Long story short, he is a rotten person/boss/salesman. Please people, PLEASE DO NOT TRUST HIM. I don't know any of you who might read this here online, from a can of paint! I am being upfront and 100% honest. I'm even putting my job at risk putting this up on here, being im the only employee that works there. The other 2 men of the 4 people that work at Car-S-Mart are two mechanics (also Turkish). They are actually nice guys. Very hard workers. They rent out the bays in the garage from Harry. So it's their own shop separate from Car-S-Mart. But they do great work, and very reasonably priced for labor. Walk-ins welcome.
