Finally tried this place after passing by it and seeing ads for the past couple of years. Ordered the chicken tenders with parmesan garlic sauce with a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was what you'd expect. The sauce was good, not sweet or bitter, kind of middle of the road. The stand out was the tenders. Fried to perfection with a sauce that was out of this world. The sauce wasn't salty like most places and had a nice blend of garlic, parmesan, & vinegar. Definitely a must try. The menu also has Mediterranean foods, subs, gyros, fish & chicken dinners, plus a lot more. Prices are great and well worth the amount of food you get. read more

Best 2 Gyro's for $5 That said, not my all time favorite tasting Gyro. Don't get me wrong. I eat plenty of less than stellar things in this country, that lures me in for VALUE. I found these 6" stuffed items to be very large. I added a medium(no small size) french fries, not knowing what portion size I was getting. Anyone who has had this, is reading it as, "I can't believe he ate 2 and a fry". Well I couldn't. There was an active carryout business going on, as well as a young man dining in. Menu's hang like flags over the back counter. Smart, because the owner told me he likes to change up the menu about every 6 months. Take down a flag. Hang a new flag. The menu pics on Yelp are old. Yet they haven't been removed by the business owner, who posted them. I should have taken current pics, but wondered how long they would be accurate. There are also paper menus on the counter. It's a walk up/order kind of place. Have a seat until your order is ready. Lots of combos on the menu. Primarily remembering Fish, Chicken, Pizza, Gyros and sandwiches. I know there was much more, but I do not have that photographic memory. Prices looked very fair. The fries had that red finely ground seasoning that I did not identify. I ordered mine crispy or well done. They were. The produce on the gyros were fresh and crisp. The lamb meat was underwhelming. I would have to say the same for the Tzatziki sauce. That's only because I caught no pop of flavor from it. The meat was a bit dry, as if it were shaved off the spit, and not floating in a broth bath. I honestly do try to resist the fried items. So I should resist working my way around the menu. There are some other thing I can get. We talked about some of the salads. I honestly will be that guy that comes here occasionally for the bargain gyros. There is a large bank of reach in coolers on the right inside. Plenty of drink choices. As you may have seen from their enormous signage out front or the multiple reviews, they have 2 gyros for $5. And when they say $5, that's all in, tax included. This little hole in the wall is legit though. The pita is warmed on a flat top grill and if puffy and soft. The tzatziki is tangy and creamy. The lettuce, tomato, and onion (the classic toppings) are all fresh. But most importantly, the gyro meat. Shaved fresh from the vertical rotisserie, it is well spiced and piping hot. Nothing greasy here. Wrapped in silver foil to go, this was a great quick stop, but I cant recommend the ambiance. read more

I ordered the fried chicken and a cod fish dinner which it came with salad and fries, both of the them were good. The chicken came in whole pieces and not the little wing dings just the way I like it. The fish was good and crispy to perfection, the salad wasn't anything special but since it came with the meal I cant complain. The place is not that big, but they do have a few seats where you can sit down and eat it you like. What I like is that you can call you order in and just pick it up, service is friendly and greeted me when I walked in to pick up my order. I only had a Falafel gyro ($4.50), they didn't even fill the bread but that's ok because I didn't like it, Fries, and Gyro. I took 1 bite of the falafel and didn't finish the rest (such a waste of money), the fries not fresh cut and they poured tons of seasoning salt all over them( tell them no salt if you plan on trying) the gyro was ok. They also put very hot fries in a styrofoam container and we all know styrofoam MELTS! They should put a piece of aluminum foil there so fries don't have melted styrofoam taste, didn't finish fries either. read more

My Mom and I went into the restaurant last night. My mother was trying to make small talk and be kind. The guy the delivers and takes the orders got really rude with her and slammed his hand down infront of her. He then told her to order her food she has 10 minutes. She did and it was awful. My order was good. Now, if you are upset with a customer trying to make conversation don't make their food bad. They up charge for the sauces because of the cost of the containers. The one man needs to get his attitude towards customers corrected. I had noticed that they have lost business. I was thinking it was due Covid now I know it's his attitude. Ordered for the first time tonight. Got Chicken Tenders, Large Fries, Carrot Cake and soda. They were out of carrot cake, but called quickly to offer substitutes. I opted to substitute the Oreo Cake which was tasty though quite melted from the heat of the fries and tenders (maybe a separate bag?). Staff does NOT wear their masks. Their food is reasonably priced and very delicious. I'm sad to say that My fiancé and I will no longer be a customer, along with my sister and two nephews, until they wear their masks. The two men in the kitchen were not wearing masks and the front desk guy who touches all the condiments, takes your Payment etc did not have on a mask. I asked him why they did not have on their mask and he said it was too hot in there, especially in the kitchen as he states it was 80 degrees on the thermostat. My gut told me to leave without my food but I wanted to support our local business during these trying times. It's not worth putting my life at risk. read more

I am not exactly sure why they decided to name themselves as a pizza place because I have never even considered getting the pizza there. They have a giant sign on their window that shows that you can get 2 gyros for $5. This shows me that they pride themselves on gyros......and they should. I really enjoy their tzatziki on all of their sandwiches but I usually end up with the slightly higher priced chicken schwarma. It comes with fries and a choice of their 30 or so canned drinks. If you are looking for a deal then you can't beat their 2/$5. If you want something that is more of a meal they have a ton of options and the fries are fantastic that come with each one. I'm been a customer for years, used to come here with my father all the time. Food's pretty good. I've had close to everything on the menu at least once. The gyro's are nice and you receive a good amount of meat per sandwich. I'm addicted to their fries ! they are amazing, the seasoning they put on them is fantastic. My mother enjoy's their cheese pizza and their Chicken Sub. I ordered the chicken philly and asked for no mushrooms..it was supposed to come with onions, green peppers and banana peppers but they put mushrooms on it per my request not too and only had onions in it. Didnt even put any sauce on it..was pretty disappointed. Also ordered 5 wings with hot sauce on side...wings were good but the sauce was horrible. I ended up using my own hot sauce at home .maybe i tried the wrong things but was super disappointed with the chicken Philly. Bummer! Only giving 2 stars for good customer service. So someone left a bunch of their menus in my office, so I decided to give them a try. Got their Jerusalem Pizza, a cheesesteak, and a gyro. Their pizza was lacking. Lacking sauce, lacking flavor, lacking substance. When I got out to the car, I actually lifted the lid to see if the box was empty because it was so light. My brother-in-law seemed to like the cheesesteak. I had a bite of the gyro. It was OK, but they use sour cream instead of tzakziki sauce, so that was disappointing. VERY disappointed. Came up from the Southside by bus just to go there. After an hour and a half trip, I wanted to use the restroom and wash my hands. No bathroom. Took a 10 minute trip to and from a gas station nearby. Ordered our food and waited at our table. No trays or plates. We were given our food in a brown paper bag. Asked for ketchup and was told it was in the bag. Glad we didn't need anymore, I would've felt like I was imposing on the taller of the 2 guys that worked at the counter, he had a very dry personality, was more focused on his cell phone than anything else. Noticed his black t-shirt said 'whatever' on it, how appropriate. All in all we spent $17.50. Will not be going back. Food was great, price was great, no restroom, no paper plates or trays for inside dining, ketchup bottles on the tables would have been nice, customer service seemed to be aloof and fairly indifferent. I have ordered from here a thousand times, as every time I called I order the same thing. Today was no different, the gyro was so greasy and nasty looking. My fingers were dripping with oil. The we ordered had been micro waved. The plastic container it comes in was burnt at the bottom. I am truly disappoted to say the least. I will never step foot in this establishment ever again.
