Only 2 ladies serving who were very good but seemed a little overwhelmed by the time the small dining area filled up (they could use an extra runner for busy nights to help). The risotto balls and caprese salad appetizers were out of this world. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly, the pasta dish with sausage & bell peppers was very good. My end of the table : 2 ordered linguini (1 subbed penne) w/clams & 1 ordered of chicken Sorrentino. The chicken dish was very tasty, clams were very good too-tender & no grit. However, the "sauces" that each dish came with were literally just bland broth, no flavor, like the just poured low sodium broth on top of pasta. Hopefully their chef beefs up the sauces a little bit, they shouldn't be watery & tasteless. Everything else was delicious so not much to complain about, but they definitely need to fix the sauce situation (although the tomato sauce with risotto balls was out of this world).

This place is a hidden gem! The name is a bit confusing--they seem to go by two names--so check out…read morethe photo I posted to make sure you're in the right spot. Honestly, it's good enough to deserve both names. The potato latkes (or pancakes, depending on what you call them) absolutely stole the show. They came out hot and crispy straight from the fryer, served with sour cream and applesauce--every bite was better than the last. One thing I really appreciated: the owner/chef is very knowledgeable about the ingredients. I eat gluten-free, and he confidently assured me the latkes were gluten-free. I had no issues afterward, which is always the best confirmation. My husband had the pastrami sandwich and loved it. I ordered the brisket with coleslaw and a pickle--very good overall. It was just a touch salty for my taste, but I'd definitely order it again, maybe with sauce next time for a bit of balance. Also worth calling out: the place was absolutely spotless. It's rare to see a restaurant this clean and well-kept, and that really stood out. Already planning my next visit--those latkes alone are worth the trip!

I'm not a morning person (since retiring), the items I ordered were a grilled cheese sandwich, hambuger, and soup. I wanted sweet potato fries but they don't make them. I'm not into the 50's (not my time) so the decor didn't thrill me. I did like their tributes to Veterans, which I've seen at some other diners in the area. The food was okay (nothing to write home about). I waited for the women servers to come by, but they were working up front with their chocolates (which were great)! I believe that had hard ice cream, but in no flavors I liked. When I did interact with my waitress she was very nice! The place is small, okay but I wouldn't go back there. It was meh.
