We ordered our subs via Grubhub. The order was correct and delivered quickly since it was after lunch hour. The ingredients are quality from the meat to the veggies but the bread, so dry! Not exactly stale but the crust I'd dry! I've eaten at other Mike's locations and this is my least favorite. What lacks is the bread and the amount of oil and vinegar. First off, ordering online doesn't allow the option for extra oil and vinegar which would solve that problem. Second, the bread is dry and crumbly. The sandwich falls apart by the time I'm done eating. The bread ruins the sandwich. Why this Mike's in particular has dry bread, I have no idea but I wish it could be addressed. I had the #17 Mike's Famous Philly without peppers. The meat and flavor was delicious. My daughter, a vegetarian, had the new #64 Grilled Portobello (spelled Portabella on Mike's menu...lol) Mushroom & Swiss. She enjoyed it, except for the bread. My husband had the #5 The Super Sub. Same thing, great quality ingredients but the bread and lack of oil and vinegar made it dry. For some reason when ordering delivery it defaults to the Warren location but the Bernardsville Mike's is closer. PS The Flemington location does it right. Sorry Warren. read more

I've always liked Jersey Mike's subs. All their meats and cheeses are cut fresh to order while your standing there not like that other place that serves pre sliced dry cold cuts. If you come at lunchtime be prepared to wait in line. This place gets very busy, because it's popular. The staff here is friendly. They do have indoor dining. This is located in the strip mall next to Wine Central Liquors and the Dunkin' Donuts so there's plenty of parking. Some of my favorite subs are the # 7 Turkey Breast and Provolone Cheese. My second favorite is # 13 The Original Italian- Provolone, Ham, Prosciuttini, Cappacuolo, Salami, and Pepperoni also done "Mike's Way."I always get it "Mike's Way" that's all you have to say to your server. It means you get on your sub, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, oil and vinegar and spices. Jersey Mike's subs come in 3 sizes. Mini, Regular, and Giant. I always get a giant so I have a half a sub left for dinner or lunch the next day. If you're going to share with somebody it's always best to get a giant and then each get what you want so it saves money. They also sell chips, cookies and brownies which are good too. I belong to the Jersey Mike's Earn Free Subs with Shore Points. You can sign up right at the register. All you do is type in your phone number once you have registered and it will keep track of your points. You must do this while you're paying. They really care about what the customer has to say about the product and take the time to discuss and resolve any issues . After spending a Sunday morning treasure hunting at the Warren Flea market, We decided to stop at Jersey Mike's Subs for sandwiches to take home. After perusing the menu, we thought that sharing a Philly cheesesteak would be in order. We ordered it "original", with onions and peppers. So while waiting for the wizard of the flattop grill to finish cooking the steaks, I decided to check in on Yelp. As I complete the checkin a pop up appears. It's an automatic coupon for 20% off. How freeking cool is this. So I show phone to the cashier and smile as I save a couple of bucks. Thanks Yelp. So back to the cheesesteak. It was moist, tasty, seasoned thin steak on a fresh white sub roll. The cheese could have been applied a little heavier. The show stopper was the peppers that they use. "Pickled". So they offer great flavor and a bit of crunch without the raw taste and hard to digest skin of a bell pepper. This delicious cheesesteak was so much better than the authentic ones we had at Jim's on South Street in Philly. Let me preface this review with "I do not frequent chain eateries." I had a UN-chainlike experience here. My go-to sammie seems an impossibility for most delis to comprehend for some unkown reason. A BLT with two slices of turkey. Sounds easy... Everyone Comprehends BLT.. but then the "JUST A LITTLE Turkey" part.. and all of the sudden deer meet headlights... and my lunch ends up some kind of turkey heavy missile that I have to gut before i dine. Mike did not flinch!!! He was like.. that sounds really good! and made it. I am very impressed. The Bacon to everything else ratio was off the charts... Swine is my weakness and I did tear up a little when I saw what must have been 9 slices of bacon placed on the bread.. Then Mike did the unthinkable! Truth be told.... he went back and grabbed another slice of bacon and stuffed it in... destined for where all bacon belongs, my intestines.. The employee, Joe, I dealt with here was very cavalier about messing up my two $15 sandwiches. He offered no resolution and seemed upset that I called back to complain that they made me the wrong sub. I shouldn't have to unwrap the sandwich to verify that my order is correct since I can't watch and have to order from the phone due to the pandemic. Believe it or not, the first Jersey Mikes I went to was in Florida. I actually got a cheesesteak and and Italian just to see how they stacked up against the mom and pops that Jersey is more famous for. The cheesesteak is really good. I always get it with pepperoni (don't judge me please). The Italian was good, but it didn't knock my socks off. We usually get the turkey and Swiss, an Italian, and the tuna for parties. They come cut in four pieces which is very convenient. Out of all of them the tuna is my favorite. Quick service, meat and cheese cut to order, and local. What more could you ask for? read more

I can only speak for the Buffalo chicken sub which was not made with chicken cutlet but thin shredded "cheesesteak style" processed chicken. Very cheap ingredients. Other than that, the bread is pretty good, with just the right amount of salt to make it craveable, iceberg lettuce and tomato standard. Nothing but praise from this long time Jersey Mike's customer. Of the surrounding Jersey Mike shops ( Westfield and East Hanover) this is by far the best. The manager is attentive and customer service oriented and treats his customers as if they were in a five start fine dining establishment. he is open to feedback and really want s the kids working for him to have the same set of standards. This was my first time trying Jersey Mike's but to my dismay I would never get the chance to try there famous subs. As me and my boyfriend were walking in the young lady behind the counter was turning the lights off at 8:35 even though the sign says they close at 9pm. Once we walked in the young lady went to the back without any kind of greeting. We waited for about 5 min for a guy to walk out who obviously was upset, he started putting the pieces back on the meat slicer. He never said hello just went straight to what do you guys need (rude I thought) we asked for the number 20 the man behind the counter advise we could not get any hot subs because the grilled was already cleaned and turned off. So we walked out and unfortunately probably won't go back. If you guys close at 9 and I come 30 minutes before that and I order a hot sub or cold sub i should be able to get that. read more

I tend to frequent this location a few times a month, although I wish it was every day because the subs are so good! I want to give a shout out to the staff today - I arrived at 12pm and there were already ten people ahead of me moving through the line. You could see the staff working hard trying to help all of their customers in an efficient manner. The staff did not appear stressed at all when five more people showed up in line behind me. Props to the man taking all of the orders - it looked like a hard job trying to keep track of the all the orders but he seemed to have a system that worked well and everyone's orders were coming out correctly. The subs are always delicious and the ingredients are super fresh. The chips and drinks are organized and the establishment is always clean. I look forward to my next visit. read more
