We had it split into 4, and it was just the perfect size for the perfect price. So yeah, it's pricey, but I like the freshness of the roast beef, turkey, Swiss cheese, all sliced fresh! Today I finally tried our Jersey Mikes here on Maui. I've only had it on the mainland maybe once but I don't remember which state that was in lol. My coworker recommended their Big Kahuna with extra meat that she shares with her husband on occasion, so I ordered the same since I had a lunch date today. I ordered it online with pickup at 1015 which was no problem. We arrived a little after 1015 and it was not ready yet. We waited just a few minutes and sat outside and ate it. It hit the spot. I was skeptical that their giant one would satisfy and feed the 2 of us, but it did. The bread was soft and the filling was perfect. The jalapenos provided enough heat which I like. It was really good but it better be for a $29 sandwich lol. It was $21.05 for their giant sandwich and $6.15 for extra meat. This was good to share or to have 2 or 3 meals. We were both super hungry so we demolished ours. I would recommend signing up for their point/rewards system so you can earn a free sandwiches. Check it out. read more

I usually have no problems when I order, but the last few times have really put a dent in my experience. - few times workers would use phone and then proceed to make order (yes they used gloves but never sanitized hands after touching phone) - gotten mobile order wrong a few times or as my last order and photo shows, gave me 3-bites worth of a salad. - hey, I get it: work sucks. But man, the energy with most of the workers here give off "I hate life" vibe. Like I'm inconveniencing them asking for more lettuce or no mayonnaise... I'll give one star for their meat quality. I've had jersey Mike's subs sandwiches quite a few times over the years but a few weeks ago was the first time I've actually stepped foot in the store. The store is bright and clean and actually much cuter than you do I had envisioned it to be. I've had a cold sandwiches, I've had some of their hot sandwiches and for the most part they've always been pretty delicious. I had a cold sandwich once, I can't remember the name of it exactly, since my friend ordered it for me, but it came with some kind of vinegar dipping sauce. Even with all of the vegetables, I must say it was mighty delicious. I really really, surprisingly enjoyed it! Lol. I most recently got the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was swimming in buffalo sauce. I normally wouldn't mind, but it was really messy to eat and it had an off putting taste for some reason. A little disappointing, but maybe it was an off day. Overall, I'd give it a 3.5 stars. While their sandwiches are good, they are quite pricey and so I would usually only go here if I was really craving a sub sandwich. read more

It's our weekly Ross Tuesday shopping adventure & we worked up an appetite wandering the isles. The three of us ended up picking Jersey Mike's Subs thinking a sandwich would be quick & perfect for lunch. It was noon when we arrived. There were a few customers already working on getting their sandwiches made. A couple walked in behind us but we let them go ahead while we waited for our driver to park. Once she came in we were next in line to order & the lunch rush line started to form behind us leading to the door. The lady writing down our order didn't seem very friendly & was more interested in rushing the orders just to get the line down. When it was my turn to order I asked for a mini number 10 tuna fish sandwich on rosemary Parmesan bread. She asked if there were any other sandwiches & I asked if I could do mikes way plus add banana peppers before she cut me off. She said she was just writing down our order & the girls on the line will take my sandwich requests. So I said ok & we all waited for our sandwiches to start being made. It looked like some people may have been training so the sandwiches got backed up. The people behind us ended up getting their orders first. The person in our group paid before our orders were completed. Except when the lady came to help finish our sandwiches I started to tell her again that I wanted it mikes way but to also add banana peppers, bacon, cheese & avocado. She said that was extra & she should have gotten that in the beginning of our order because she didn't charge us for it. I said I tried to tell you in the beginning but you were rushing our order saying the line would handle it. Overall it was just an uncomfortable experience. Even the couple behind me didn't know what to say other then at least the sandwich looks like it will be tasty enough to make up for the awkward interaction. Pro tip: If you want to enjoy your Jersey Mike's experience I'd recommend not going during their lunch or dinner rush. Or just have someone else pick up your order so you don't have to go through that hassle. Phone or online orders might make the whole ordering process easier too. A year later, I've been in just a handful of times to the island's first location, but my spouse has taken a liking to them like a moth to a flame. Yes, their sandwiches are pricer than Subway, but the meats are definitely fresher and the sandwiches are larger. Unfortunately, they've been suffering from some quality control issues which results in the loss of a star. FOOD: #13 The Italian - $10.95 regular size This loaded up sandwich comes with ham, cappacuolo (pork), salami, pepperoni and provolone cheese. It also comes "Mike's Way" which includes lettuce, tomatoes, onions which I axed, vinegar, oil and spice sprinkle. We phoned in our order and asked for the oil and vinegar to be on the side. It was not. No big deal. What killed this sandwich was the bread. Normally, the bread is ultra soft with a good flavor. This time it was super hard, brittle and dry. WTH happened, guys? It was like the days-old bread left out in the open. Another sandwich we ordered, the #17 Jersey Mike's Famous Philly Cheese Steak ($10.95) was tasty but was missing the banana peppers we requested. The bread was also hard but not as severe as our cold sub. SERVICE: We called in our order, made them repeat it back, yet it still came out wrong. After getting home and finding the discrepancies, we phoned the store to inform them of the issues and was rendered a free sandwich. We weren't looking for any compensation, just offering feedback to an on-going problem. TIP: I suggest not ordering via the app or over the phone and just walk in like the good old days to watch them make your sandwich if you want it done correct. Sad but true. read more

Very good sandwich, but i asked for a BLT with NO MAYO. I got this order two times and checked over my order a bunch to see if I put the right things, and still got a BLT with mayo. I also went inside to order one and i perfectly said "Could I get a BLT with NO MAYO" and she gave me a sandwich with just bacon and mayo. get better service. good sandwiches but a waste of money now that i have to keep going back to get my money back. The food is ample and fresh, and made to order with many pick up times available. They offer gluten free roll and it was good on this, though as with any gluten free bread it was fragile. We went there on the Fourth of July to get some food before I knew what I wanted and we were a little crunched for time, but the person that took my order, who seem like they were a supervisor simply would not make my sandwich first, and had to wait until my partner made her decision, she was not helpful making any suggestions or ask me any questions just sitting there holding her order sheet. This was off putting it was not busy. The place is clean and organized like a franchise restaurant tents to be. I had a hot beef and pepper and onion sandwich when it was finally done I thought I might be able to get some extras on it. I guess the hot sandwiches aren't eligible for jalapeños or other items, and this disappointing. I think that's the benefit of going to a place like this. The food was what I expected it to be nothing more nothing less the the the vibe of the person who took my order was kind of off-putting and bureaucratic they follow their playbook, but I think they're playbook could improve. read more

Well, I will have to tell you it ain't......cuz coming to this particular Jersey Mike's on Maui was waaaaaaaaaaay better then my experience of going to a Jersey Mike's on Oahu. The setup, & decor of this Jersey Mike's looks exactly like the one I went to on Oahu, therefore since it's probably some kind a franchise chain, everything is pretty much standardized. After entering the establishment, I was greeted right away and upon looking over the wall menu I decided to get a regular sized - Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak sandwich - which had Frank's Red Hot sauce, lettuce, tomato, with blue cheese dressing. And to wash down my spicy sandwich, I got an ice tea. What can I say about the sandwich? Well, if you like a spicy sandwich, believe me the Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak will hit da spot for you folks! I loved the spiciness of the sandwich, and the heat was offset by the creamy blue cheese dressing & cool veggies that were loaded on top of the sandwich. Now a regular sized sandwich ($10.95 for about an 8 inch sandwich) runs a little more than a foot long sandwich at Subways, but the quality in their ingredients, as well as their pillowy soft bread.............you can clearly see a difference in quality. Service - There were so many workers standing behind the sandwich counter...........the workers were friendly, and very efficient, therefore your wait to get your sandwich was pretty nonexistent...........they were fast...........real fast! Jersey Mikes is probably my favorite sub shop. Subway who?! My favorites are #8-Club Sub Mike's way of course, #20-Pastrami Rueben, #56-Big Kahuna cheese steak & my husbands #44-Buffalo Chicken cheese steak. For today's visit I ordered a Regular #20 which is the Pastrami Rueben($10.95). A hot sub with Pastrami, Swiss cheese, Thousand island and sauerkraut with my addition of lettuce. So an amazing sub. Bread isn't thick so it's a good ratio of bread to protein or veggies if that's the one you got. There's enough thousand island dressing in there to give it good flavor, but not overtake the taste of the Pastrami. My husband always(literally never changes) a Giant #44($17.65), buffalo chicken cheese steak. It's has Frank's red hot sauce, lettuce, tomato and bleu cheese dressing. He says it is the best sub he's eaten there. Grand total was $33.18 with the addition of 1 Giant/large drink. Pricey, but well worth it for us. Service is always good. Was in there around 1:30ish. You can call and order ahead as well or order online and pick up. Download their app to keep track of your points and to order online. Check out their pricing as well. First off, the subs are 20% more than they are in other markets. It does not take 20% more cost to get the product to the island, no way! Second, this location refuses to offer mini sizes, even though their website shows that is a size that they offer, and all their other restaurants that I've been to ... Washington state, Florida etc, offer minis. Tonight, my husband went to get food and asked for a kids size which is what they offer in Hawaii. They refused to make a club in a kids size, and insisted they would only make a ham and provolone. And that would be their only option available because we don't do "kid sizes". The sandwich had the smallest amount of meat I've ever seen, And they must have an amazing cutter because that was the thinnest provolone slice humanly possible. There were two pieces of onion that were 6 inch circumference! I took some photos for your enjoyment. Any business that doesn't care about their customers, and charges exorbitantly more just because we're in Hawaii will not get my business again. Shame on you Maui Jersey Mike's! read more

Jersey Mike's is a step up in the sandwich game and they've got tons of options. You are going to pay a little bit more (around $12 for a regular) but it's good. We've never had any issues with our orders. One of our favorites is their #13 cold sub "The Original Italian" which never lets us down. At Jersey Mike's it doesn't feel like they skimp on your sandwich either. If you sign up with their point/rewards system it's totally worth it because you earn points towards redeeming a free mini sub. During the week this location can get pretty busy. Best bet is to place your order ahead of time if you are familiar with the menu and know exactly what you want. The staff here are friendly and deal well when the pressure is on during the lunch rush. When you come into the Maui Lani Parkway entrance (across from Kaiser) you have to take the first right to turn into the area where Jersey Mike's is located or you'll keep driving on towards Safeway and miss it. Parking is available. However, the stalls in front of the storefront are 1 hour parking. You can dine in or there is outdoor seating (concrete tables and benches under a pergola) if you want some sunshine and fresh air. They do have a restroom available for customers and you will need to ask the staff for a code. read more

Had this bookmarked for awhile and happened to be in the town. We all collectively decided here since we hadn't been here yet and it was new ,for the island anyway. The menu is huge you can choose from cold sandwich, hot and also a kids menu. As you walk in there is a seating area and a/c and sitting areas outside as well. Different from subway where you choose what you want on it and they make it. But can request certain things on or off the sandwich. When I got my sandwich didn't think I would finish the whole thing g because of the size. It was delicious and hope we go back soon read more

I saw on FB that a friend ate here and lovveeedd it. I had lunch plans to meet a friend somewhere else so I told her we have to change and go to Jersey Mike's instead! I'm so glad we did! I arrived and stared at the wall of choices for a long time. As soon as I'd make up my mind, something else would sound good. One of the employees saw me and must have sensed that I was overwhelmed with so many choices and helped me narrow it down. I decided on a sub club with all the fixings that mikes offers: onions, lettuce, seasonings, tomatoes and the super tasty red wine vinaigrette! They bake the bread fresh and slice the meat right there. They handed me my sandwich and the party was about to begin! I was worried about the sandwich getting soggy from the vinaigrette but it didn't-it just made it sooooo awesome! The flavors all came together and it was such a good sandwich. I brought my husband and daughter in the next day for lunch and got a pulled pork but didn't like it as much. Definitely sticking to the cold Sammys from now on! I arrived with a crowd at noontime, so the place was busy, but it appeared that they were also training quite a few new crew members at the same time. I felt a little overwhelmed as I was directed to stand, move or not move. New business bumps. Oh, well. I have only Subway to compare it to, so I should mention they do not have the wide range of selections of toppings/fresh ingredients that Subway has. I think there was like a half dozen. You will be disappointed if you think it will be close to that type of setup. It's not. Most of the sandwiches seem to have a specific setup, so read the menu carefully. For example, some sandwiches have mayo already, so you don't have to specify that you want mayo... unless your sandwich doesn't come with it. However, the friendly staff was okay with my adding avocado to their number 9 sandwich. There seems to be a focus on "Mike's Way", with onions and peppers. I think this is possibly a good place for a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. I didn't have that. I had a turkey-bacon and add avocado to my sandwich. It was very, VERY good. The bread tasted WONDERFUL. It was fresh baked French bread. I don't recall if they had other choices of bread. It was expensive, too. It was over $10.00 with tax for a single sandwich. This was their small sandwich, not their larger sandwich. Just to be clear: I am not a huge fan of Subway. It's just that is the only place that I could compare it to. The king of all subs! These sub sandwiches are made fresh. The blocks of meat and cheese are cut fresh with every order. Their Philly cheesesteaks are the most popular hot subs & I personally like their chipotle style Philly. Not sure if I'll be ordering their cold subs, due to all subs include "Mike's way." I haven't asked if they had other condiments to add on, like subway does because I've only seen their red wine vinegar bottles on the counter. Their restaurant is very clean & so are their bathrooms! If you're a keto bro like me you love a few things, a fully charged juul, white claws, chainsmokers and subs in tubs. While I miss carbs more than original formula 4 loko Jersey Mikes has created a light of salvation that is the sub in a tub. Basically It takes your sandwich and turns it into salad so you can feel healthy while eating a cheesesteak. The service here is fantastic. Things get pretty crazy come lunchtime but these guys are like the 92 dream team of sandwiches. To be fair, the cheese steak had lots of melty cheese and tender meat but I cannot get over how overpriced this place is. Yes, the food is fresher than subway but for $11 you get a regular sandwich and for nearly $4 more you can get a drink and chips to make the meal a combo. Many table service restaurants offer more bang for the buck. They advertise 2 types of bread, white or wheat. I was surprised and disappointed being that I wanted a bread with a little more pizzaz. After leaving, a friend of mine told me that they do have a rosemary herb bread that you can order but they don't tell you or offer you it. I think that is the most ridiculous thing. We stopped here because Jersey Mike's has the freshest ingredients of any national Sub chain and we are big fans. Prices are higher here than on the Mainland but it's all good. Avant was our friendly order taker / sub maker and he did a fine job. We ordered the turkey with provolone, the Club Sub, and the tuna sub. This is a nice, clean place and we enjoyed half our order onsite. They have eight tables inside and a large area outside for eating. read more
