I stopped by around lunch time and made it in time before the the rush. The staff is extremely nice and are fast with orders. The store is in the corner of the plaza easy to find. I ordered a mini #8 club sub turkey and bacon with provolone mikes way. I recommend this store.

    Chips variety.

Jersey Mike's is my favorite sub spot. Love the rosemary parmesan bread, although these days I have been getting bowls, with no bread. Trying to reduce my sodium intake and the bread has a lot of sodium. My go to currently is a number 6, roast beef and provolone )sub Swiss for provolone) bowl style with lots of lettuce, onion, tomato and oregano, add pepper and a few pepperoncinis, no salt. It is very good, I miss the bread, but not too bad. This locations parking is pretty tough, sometimes some sketchy people hanging around, but the staff is very nice and the restaurant is clean. No other sub spots compare in my opinion. Sign up for their rewards program as well to earn free subs. Enjoy!

I don't write too many negative reviews, but I'm pretty disappointed in my experience at this Jersey Mike's. I've always LOVED the sandwiches here, especially how saucy they are. I ordered the Turkey and Provolone sandwich this time and am pretty sure I received the wrong order. This meat tasted more like roast beef. Aside from that, it was very dry - I wished there was more sauce/dressing. I'm giving 3 stars because this may just have been a fluke accident and I have experienced the greatness of Jersey Mike's before. Hopefully it's a better experience for anyone else.

A year and a half later and they're still getting my order perfect every single time.

Def not extra meat or extra bacon that's for sure

Do not order online. Ordered extra meat and extra bacon. Literally got one small piece of bacon on the whole giant sandwich, and what could barely qualify for regular meat. Just straight up disrespectful.

So it seemed fitting to honor both of them and it satisfied my craving. The catered memorial looked great but it was difficult to make a proper plate. I always crave matzo ball soup. Luckily I had my fan to help cool off my soup. I did add a little salt and pepper. Other than that it was total comfort. $15 We shared a club sandwich and got French fries instead. All the condiments, Russian dressing, ranch come in prepackaged little containers. Ranch tasted fresh and homemade. I used a little of the Russian dressing. Is that a Brent's thing? $22 + $3 for French fries. I wanted a little sweet and got the blueberry cheesecake. That was the best cheesecake ever. Actual blueberries inside the cheesecake. So creamy and delicious. $11 Pickles are always my favorite. I got bagel chips with my matzo ball soup. I ordered corned beef and cabbage for my 99 year old mom. She said she didn't like the cabbage, no taste. She's 99 ‍ It's been a while since I was there. It feels the same. Booths and tables. Same decor. Our server Laura was super sweet and patient. Helpful in our decision making. Ricardo cracked me up because he brought a small soup container for my friend's cabbage soup. She was a little perturbed it was too small. Ricardo insisted it would fit and it did PERFECTLY.

It may just also be my favorite deli in LA for anything vegetable/side dish. As other reviews note, the selection of prepared foods for such a small shop is staggering. I've been coming for three years now, and while I'm guilty of ordering my favorites often, I think I'd have a tough time making my way through all of the foods on offer even if I switched it up on each visit. 4 different types of meatballs (the chicken breast one is to die for), lox, cabbage rolls, at least a half dozen cooked seafood options (shout out fish in tomato sauce), stroganoff, 3-4 different types of couscous and plov....and that's only half of the non veggie section. The cakes are great (Black Forest and walnut go hard). The Russian/Ukranian chip flavors rule. There are specialty candies and jarred foods and good looking fruits and veggies. There's an off menu soup with dill and little chicken meatballs that I'd recommend to anyone ailing in a heartbeat. And then, finally, we arrive at the salads and cold veggies. Nonstop bangers. The beet salad with prunes and garlic may sound wild for non Eastern European tastes, but it's unique and addictive and works. The potato salad Olivier? Best potato salad I've ever had. My wife has recently discovered the zucchini, which looks like a bunch of unassuming diced veggies but tastes savory and complex and herby. You'd be the hero of every picnic or backyard bbq ever grabbing side dishes from here. Seriously. "Grandma's Hands" sums up the comfort many of us associate with Grandma's cooking. The owners and employees are doing a five-star job at forwarding that kind of comfort to the community and customers here. First of all, everything is freaking deliciousness! Admire the always-on-point "People Love Us On Yelp" sign as you arrive. The free parking lot offers nice and ample parking spaces for disabled customers as well as tables upon arrival which can comfortably accommodate wheelchairs. Now don't get me wrong, I love fancy gastronomy featuring tres Nouveau French culinary techniques just like you but I absolutely ADORE borscht, stuffed cabbage and plav equally. (Even more sometimes!) I've been shopping here and picking up takeout here for a long time. My experiences have only been better over the years. The discounts can be incredible and I appreciate sale-priced groceries in today's economy as well as the opportunity to support local and international farms. Sunflower seeds, sunflower oil, low sugar and no sugar added cookies, pastries and cakes, caviar, dried fish, pickled Herring, perfectly ripe berries, smoked fish, halva, cheese spread, jams, and artisan teas, all five stars. But wait. Is it a Russian-American market where I find the most Ukrainian imported groceries and ways to support Ukrainian farming?! Yep! +Heart hands emoji+ This market does a great job of offering a nice seat and friendly conversation to the average dine-in customer. Stop by to sip on an imported pear juice. Try a bite of fresh cream cheese cake with berries. Ask for advice! Go for the Beef Plav which is an employee favorite. The Beef Plav here contains a generous amount of tender, lean beef with carrots, savory buttery rice and whole softly roasted garlic cloves. Yum! (Five stars!) I've found some especially healthy and nutritious food here for my health recovery goals recently. About six years ago, I had been exposed to high levels of radiation according to a good old fashioned Geiger counter. My health began to drastically decline and I became very weak. I could barely stand and I barely survived. I knew about a famous brave Ukrainian woman who had survived radiation exposure thanks to her unborn child. Our commitment to the people and values which help us survive the impossible compels us to rise to the occasion of coming back stronger and better than we ever could have accomplished before or alone. So I'm drinking bone broth, eating extra protein, taking vitamins. And lifting weights with steadfast determination to recover my strength and then some. (Go Navy!) No market has helped me more in this health effort than this hidden gem. (Many thanks!) I am the customer who buys ALL the boxes of pastilla. (SORRY OTHER CUSTOMERS!) Pastilla is a layered pastry made of baked apples and eggs white, no sugar and nothing else! It's a miracle of a snack! Tastes like apple cake, made of egg whites. My husband purchased several knishes from Mort's Deli. We understood these to be meat knishes based upon how they were described and priced. After bringing them home and cutting them open, we discovered that they were not true meat knishes, but rather potato-and-meat knishes. Had the product been accurately described, we would not have purchased it. We specifically sought meat knishes and paid the corresponding price (see the receipts attached). When I contacted the store to address the issue, employee Kate maintained that the potato-and-meat knish should nevertheless be considered a meat knish. Regardless of the terminology used internally by the store, the product was not what we reasonably understood we were purchasing. The situation became even more troubling when I repeatedly requested copies of the receipts. During the course of the dispute, I was informed that the receipts were not accessible. However, the receipts were ultimately produced and later emailed to me as ordered by the police. Notably, the receipts explicitly identified the product as a "Brisket Knish" and reflected the corresponding charge. The receipts therefore became an important part of understanding how the product had been represented and sold. Rather than resolving the matter promptly and professionally, manager Gail continued to escalate the situation unnecessarily. Ultimately, Gail instigated the calling of law enforcement to the store. Two police officers responded to the scene. Following their investigation, the store was ordered by the police to produce the receipts. The police officers became involved in what should have been a routine customer-service matter. With their assistance, the receipts were eventually produced after previously being misrepresented as inaccessible. What makes this experience particularly upsetting is that my husband is severely disabled, partially paralyzed, and walks with a cane. What should have been a simple request for fair treatment escalated into an unnecessary confrontation involving law enforcement. The needless inconvenience, travel, physical burden, and emotional distress inflicted upon both my husband and me were unfair and unjustifiable. As loyal customers, we found the entire experience shocking and disturbing. We sent the store owner an email detailing the incident but the owner never responded.

I sat waiting for quite a while and eventually had to wave down a waitress just to get assistance at the counter. The waitress, Margarita (aka Maggie), had a very unfriendly demeanor from the beginning. When I asked a simple question, her response and attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I even told her that I was willing to pay the difference if my meal exceeded the value of the coupon. I was not expecting anything special--just basic courtesy and good customer service. I honestly felt as though I was being treated poorly because I was using a complimentary meal coupon. If you are going to provide these coupons to customers, they should be honored with the same respect and courtesy as any paying customer. I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated. Despite its age, the restaurant has been kept in great shape -- clean and fresh, with its traditional wood paneling, dark orange booths and chrome touches. The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful, and the food comes out pretty quickly. They've been doing this so long, they just operate smoothly, and I appreciate the calm professionalism, even in a casual environment. I opted for Pastrami & Eggs with Sauteed Onions added. They serve it pancake style, and it's a large portion. The eggs are properly cooked to a nice medium well, which holds the pastrami and onions in place. The pastrami was mostly lean, so not quite as flavorful as it could have been, but the famously slow-cooked onions were packed with sweetness and that "bordering-on-burnt" Jewish umami that makes them unique. Cottage cheese was a creamy, cool foil for the saltiness of the eggs, and the rye toast was happily delivered warm (so many places deliver the toast cold these days). So yes, it was a good, solidly-prepared brunch meal, though nothing earth-shattering or crave-inducing. I was very deftly handled by a pair of good-natured servers: David and Kelley, but I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the prices at Art's are a bit crazy.
