I hate leaving negative reviews, but this location has consistently disappointed me. The customer service was absolutely terrible during my most recent visit which was today August 3rd around 2PM. The employees making the sandwiches came across as rude, unfriendly, and uninterested in helping customers. There was no greeting, no "please" or "thank you," and the overall attitude made it feel like customers were an inconvenience. On top of that, this isn't the first time my order has been messed up. It seems like almost every visit, something is missing or made incorrectly. Mistakes happen, but when they're paired with poor customer service and a lack of professionalism, it becomes incredibly frustrating. I enjoy Jersey Mike's food, but the experience at this location has made me reconsider coming back. Management really needs to address the customer service and ensure orders are being prepared correctly. I always get the Philly cheesesteak but unfortunately it was more like steak minus the cheese. I guess I should have ordered extra cheese this get a normal portion in my sandwich. Came by to this location for the first time. I had originally selected curbside pick up because I'm familiar with the plaza so was a little worried about parking but I didn't see the curbside parking. Might've just missed it or they may have been taken. Either way I found a spot quickly & walked in to grab my order. It was lunch rush so waited maybe a few minutes before I was handed my order. Jersey Mike's is my favorite sub spot. Love the rosemary parmesan bread, although these days I have been getting bowls, with no bread. Trying to reduce my sodium intake and the bread has a lot of sodium. My go to currently is a number 6, roast beef and provolone )sub Swiss for provolone) bowl style with lots of lettuce, onion, tomato and oregano, add pepper and a few pepperoncinis, no salt. It is very good, I miss the bread, but not too bad. This locations parking is pretty tough, sometimes some sketchy people hanging around, but the staff is very nice and the restaurant is clean. Picked up a Togo order and saw it was wrong and had ham which I don't eat when I got home, I called and they said I can come another day since I was too tired to go back and when I came in today I was told my name wasn't written down and there was nothing they could do for me! I don't write too many negative reviews, but I'm pretty disappointed in my experience at this Jersey Mike's. I've always LOVED the sandwiches here, especially how saucy they are. I ordered the Turkey and Provolone sandwich this time and am pretty sure I received the wrong order. This meat tasted more like roast beef. Aside from that, it was very dry - I wished there was more sauce/dressing. This place hit the spot being our delivery location through Doordash. We were cutting it close becauase it was 30 mintues before closing. Worst Jersey Mike's experience I've had, in regards to food order accuracy and quality. On September 25 at around 2:00pm, I ordered a giant 44, Buffalo Chicken, and a giant 56, the Big Kahuna, with no mushrooms. I didn't realize until I got home that my Buffalo Chicken had no Buffalo sauce, the literal name of the sandwich. My Big Kahuna also had mushrooms in it. I ask for no mushrooms for flavor and texture of them, but what if someone is somehow allergic to mushrooms? Customer service at this location;however, is horrible! It took me a while to return to this store due to unwelcoming service in the past. Fast forward one year later (tonight)...nothing changed. The girl behind the counter tonight clearly looks like she hates her job and just was unprofessional. Any acknowledgment towards customers was clearly painful for her. This location is easy to park and exit. It is next to Menchies Yogurt and the employees are very nice. I like to order the turkey with provolone cheese Mike's way! Delicious. At 1:10 pm 2 days ago I walked into this jersey mikes to order 2 sandwiches. When I arrived the place was empty. Upon arrival I politely let them know I was in a bit of a hurry headed to the airport. It took 20 minutes to make a Philly cheesesteak and a jersey shore favorite! Not only did 3 customers come and go with their sandwiches but I stood their while 5 employees took their sweet time while I patiently waited HOPING they'd consider that I was the first one in there. I'm sorry I'm generally objective being I've worked in the service industry for 17 years. There's no reason for 5 workers to be on the clock and for it to take 20 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. I addressed them twice to remind them I was there and I honestly feel the 2 females working were going slow on purpose. And on top of that they forgot to give me my chips AND they made my sandwich wrong - w just ham when it also comes w capicola & prosciuttini. They messed up my order and I almost missed my flight. Not to mention I tipped! If I had not already paid I would've left. Absolutely unacceptable for the manager ("kabbir" or something along those lines) to allow this to happen and for the employees to be working that slowly. If you don't like your job QUIT! I encourage you all to find another Jersey Mike's. I've been going to this location two to three times a month for years, since it's been the closest Jersey Mike's to my workplace. Almost every time I've gone, I've been struck by how slow the service is in comparison to other Jersey Mike's stores. I went the other day, and it was the same, so I filled out an online feedback form to alert them to the problem. The manager of the store emailed me back asking for more details, which I gave. I then got an email back from the store's owner (of that particular franchise, not the owner of the company, obviously) telling me that my feedback was "irrelevant," that his staff was "award-winning" (awards must come easy in the participation-trophy generation), and that he suggests I not return to that Jersey Mike's store in the future. I told him that I'll be sure to go elsewhere. With that kind of attitude at the leadership level, it's no mystery as to why performance is lacking at the customer service level. Believer in the free market that I am, I thought I would share the story with you all and encourage you to visit a different Jersey Mike's if you're looking for one in the Valley. 1. There's one just four blocks south on Burbank Blvd. and Van Nuys Blvd. 2. There's one a bit further northwest at Sepulveda and Devonshire just off the intersection of the 405 and 118. 3.
