This is my favorite sandwich chain by far. The food is always good at Jersey Mike's. This store is a mess. Watched an employee make a sandwich incorrectly, tell her coworker she screwed it up then deconstruct the sandwich scrapping the unwanted ingredients off the sandwich, keeping the meat and redoing it. Pretty sloppy procedure. The sandwich making station was a complete disaster. It need to be wiped down badly. The employees were just scrapping the mess off the counter and didn't bother to wipe anything down. It was super dirty and a cross contamination nightmare. I understand busy but it only takes a few seconds to keep the work area clean. read more

I saw several Youtube videos on sandwich chains and Jersey Mike's out of 15 chains was #1. So I gave it a shot. "The Big Kahuna Cheese Steak" looked good so I got that and the #4 to try later. This is literally the best cheesesteak hoagie I've ever had. Good to the last bite, and doesn't need steak sauce like every other cheesesteak I've had. In Western PA where I am originally from, they have great cheesesteak hoagies and this is close to how they make them, minus the jalapenos. But the flavor the Kahuna far surpasses any other one that I've had. The #4 was amazing. I've also had the #6, #65 and the #12, all are awesome. I now get at least one sandwich a week from the Edwardsville and Springfield branches. read more

Took my son and grandsons here for a birthday. I'd never been here before. Most of us had the Big Kahuna beef steak with cheese. The bread was delicious. They really packed the beef thick and I had banana peppers on it. I'll say it's one of the best subs I've ever had!! They had a wide variety of subs and wraps, chips, bottled or fountain sodas and cookies. They cook the meat right there and the prices are really good. I probably would've given it 5 stars but I wish they'd offer salads or a soup too. I'll definitely be going back for this sub again!! read more

I've been coming here for years. Was waiting in the line and the lady in front of me got to order then the man completely skipped me and asked for the mans order behind me. Everyone was standing in a single file line so there should have been no reason for me to be skipped. The man also had multiple subs and I was by myself so waited even longer. read more

All you could want in a sub shop. I am partial to their wheat bread, but I tried their white on my son's sandwich and it was delicious! They also have a Rosemary bread that my husband really likes. I have had several different sandwiches and have really enjoyed them all. Their kids meal is very affordable. It comes with a cookie, but allow us to swap for chips. My one complaint about their kids meal is that they don't offer milk or juice, only soda or tea or I think lemonade too. Minor, but my son honestly only likes water and milk. I get my subs Mikes way (mayo, lettuce, tomato, salt pepper, red wine vinegar, and oil) with pickles and jalapeño! Yumm! But you can customize your sandwich completely. The staff is very friendly and so helpful. I really like this place. The small complaint about the child's drink is just that...small and not worth dropping down to 4 stars in my opinion. read more

Well my food was delicious! But getting my 2 #44s and 2 kids turkey n cheese sandwich's was a fiasco. There were 3 guys working and 3 people in front of me. It took at least 30 minutes maybe longer to get our food. I was handed my 2 #44s and then waited another 10 mins at least for the kids sandwiches. No one, including us, was getting angry, because you had to feel bad for these 3 guys. It was just such a mess. And they kept apologizing. The trash can was overflowing onto the floor, no straws, new guy working register, customers coming back in needing new sandwiches because of mistakes, place a mess, etc. Ok, with all that being said, I will go back because the sandwiches are really good! Employees are nice, food is good. We like the Jersey Mike's favorite sub on french Mike's Way. Pretty good sub! We've been before and everything was good, place was clean and people were nice. The only thing I'd do differently is not choose rosemary parm bread on the favorite sub. Tried it tonight and it was not a good combination. A few of the tables needed to be wiped but other than that, good place to grab a bite! read more

As far as Jersey Mike's goes, this is a great place. That, said, it's obvious the owner has left faulty instructions for customer interaction. I know it may seem like it's "friendly" to ask for detailed information about a person's day/weekend/job, but I consistently feel like I'm being interrogated at this location, & asked to divulge personal information to strangers. I have no problem saying I had a good weekend, but it seems intrusive to have a stranger making me a sandwich insist on telling him/her exactly what I did on that weekend. I shouldn't have to provide employment details, to include what I do & where I do it, just to get a sub. read more

Food was really good, I got the chicken Philly sandwich and have the say the portion sizes are pretty generous for the price. I have been here three times, the second time they were a few minuets to closing and still served me in a very courteous manner but I was also getting take out. Ate the roast beef and provolone. Rosemary bread was good. Barely enough meat to cover the bread, cheese sliced SO THIN you can read a book while looking through it. Nothing like the ads of the sandwich show. I don't want to have a conversation with the guy making my sub like he's my long lost best friend. I was pretty uncomfortable- I don't need probing questions thanks- just make the sandwich. "How's your day?" is ok, and even appreciated... how was yesterday and the other questions- too much!
