So right away I know it's going to be a wait. Soon after I placed my order, a mom and her little girl come in and place an order. I noticed a lot of people walking in who had placed mobile orders. When the orders start to be completed, the family of three go up and grab their lunch. Then the staff member calls a number four "something something something"couldn't hear him. A woman quickly gets up, grabs the sandwich and walks out, crumbling up the receipt, and not even looking at it. I walk up to the counter and I ask what was that order? He said oh, it's already been picked up. I had a sinking feeling it was my order but OK. Next the lady and her daughter get called for their lunch. They walk up there pick up their lunch and walk away. I look at the counter where they're preparing the sandwiches and there's no little John sandwich being made. I walk up and ask the gentleman again about my sandwich. He asks me my name. I tell him and he says, "could it be under another name?" I said absolutely not. He asked me how I placed my order. Was it an online order? I said no, I walked in after that family placed my order and then the little girl and the mother came after me. This means to me that he doesn't have my order or it means that they're not making the orders as they come in. Proving my theory. I called the store and spoke with the woman who claimed to be the manager. I recognized her voice (the one that said they were really busy). I explained everything I had discovered and that I understood mistakes happen, but not a single one of them apologized. She did finally apologize and offered to credit me for the sandwich, but that wasn't why I called. It was because of the way I was treated. I hope things change. As for the wait time, it was longer than we are accustomed to. This is not a fast food restaurant. This is a quality specialty restaurant. If you plan to visit, understand that your food is being made fresh with fresh, healthy, natural ingredients, not food that has been sitting under heat lamps. It will be worth the wait.
