Totally grading the service at this location here I came to pick up an item and I came to the window and was greeted by the service lead for Monday afternoon. Izak was very nice. Great shift leader. He was courteous and efficient. I wasn't there for more than 3 minutes and I only had to wait maybe less than the first. The drive thru lines were moving. I use to LOVE coming to Chick-fil-A but I can't say the same anymore. I feel like they have really gone away from their actual roots of caring about people and family. Their food use to be top tier and always so delicious. Now, most times when I get a chicken sandwich the chicken is not as juicy and tender as they use to be. Now they're way more crispy to the point of not being able to eat the edges. They've become sloppy with the making of the sandwiches. Like common how can you mess up a cheese that bad it's literally hanging out of the box. Our fries were already soggy and not that nice delicious crunch that use to be. Cold soggy fries and that's that i ate a fry after pulling out of the drive way. Just ridiculous and it's becoming like this at every location practically. But I suppose that's what happens with big chains, they just care about the dollar sign. The place was busy of course and they kept the line going pretty well. I go to this Chic fil a quite often and there never seems to be a issue when I'm the customer, but if your a door dash driver/ uber driver I notice they don't treat you with the same level of respect or service, they waste your time and money by making you stand for twenty minutes just to tell you that the order was cancelled or tell you that the order is ready while holding it in there hands and then completely blowing you off by walking away. This location has gone downhill after the remodeling. Ordered chicken minis, sausage, egg and cheese muffin and tea, and soda had to wait 10 minutes for our food! While waiting in the drive thru, Noone came out to say there was a delay. We got our food and I mentioned that we had never had to wait this long before and the woman that brought the food just shoved the bag in the window and walked away! First let me say I hate to write a bad review about chick-fil-a or any Christian based company; however, I have some frustrations with the remodel and what I'm starting to notice with the franchise. 1. There is no longer a play gym for my young kids! This is my biggest heartache! This was a safe place for moms to meet up, enjoy a play date while the moms got to eat a meal together and their kids run around in an enclosed space being carefully watched! It also played a huge while during the hot months where we don't always have places for our kids to get energy out. So this alone disappoints me. 2. There's no indoor eating space at all! As much as I love the quick service, I don't like watching these young kids be forced to stay outside on cold weather days or rainy weather days, like today! We can order from the dang order board like old days, let them go back inside! I love Chik-Fil-A food. Breakfast is amazing and even lunch/dinner is great. They have gluten free options which is great for my wife who is gluten free. The holiday and seasonal shakes are amazing to always go get. What makes a Chik-Fil-A even better is the service. Top tier whenever I've been to one. I wanted to eat-in as in all the other locations i've been to, and only had a short time for lunch, but after parking and walking up we could not find a way "in" to find that there is NO INDOOR SEATING, which is a must in Texas. I never thought the day would come where I had a poor experience with Chick-fil-A. I ordered a milk shake and a soda for curbside pick up. We sat for over 15 minutes in our spot waiting for our order which was never delivered. Our drinks were never delivered and we had to go in to pick them up. They had been sitting inside waiting to be delivered for quite some time as the milkshake was almost completely melted. I had to ask for the drink to be remade. I was just surprised and maybe holding them to higher standards. It might not have been a big deal had they offered to remake the drink up front. Update on review: Unbeknownst to me the manager saw what happened with our drink order and made it write without us knowing in the moment. I received an email apologizing for the service and 3 free rewards added to my account in their app. We didn't make a big stink about what happened at the store. I didn't complain to anyone outside of just gripping to my husband directly once we were in the car. This is a reopening of this location. You can tell they spent a lot of money on the updates and it's all nice and dandy. The mark they are missing, however, is that the food is not fresh. It's been sitting under a warming lamp for at least 30 minutes. I am appalled given that I never expected a chick fil a to give me McDonald's level service. Not much room for parking since; outdoor eating area is very small. definitely more of a drive thru location than a dine in. The food it self was okay, nothing too special. Did an order ahead order on the app and let them know we were there. First of all what is the point of ordering ahead of you don't even start making the food until I arrive? Second, the app said the food was ready like 5 minutes later so my husband went inside to pick up then somehow he figured out it wasn't ready so, here we are almost 30 minutes later and I'm still outside with two angry toddlers in the car and it's still isn't ready. Chick fil a went so cheap with this location. They closed the dining room and only left an outdoor patio with 6 tables only. It is basically a pickup/ waiting area only. There are no condiments, utensils, napkins, etc. The service is also super slow because they prioritize the drive thru. Extremely disappointed CFA chose to do this. This location is a hit or miss. Sometimes the service (in terms of quickness) is good but a lot of the other times it is ridiculously slow. There are two drive thru lanes and yet only the second lane that has two servers taking orders while the first lane typically has one. I've also had my order messed up a handful of times but I get it, sometimes people make mistakes. However, the quality of my food? Why is the grilled chicken burnt? Why serve the fry scraps instead of actual waffle fries? Why is the milkshake messy and oozing out the edges? The quality at this location has gone down since I moved over to the area almost 3 years ago. Some days I want Chick-Fil-A and either cancel my order because that's how slow it is or have to choose not to go at all. This is always my Saturday morning restaurant. I bring the family here enjoy a cup of coffee and chop down on the best chicken sandwich in the biz . Coffee is always fresh and a great pick me up. The staff is always polite and eager to help where it's needed. The restaurant is always kept clean. Ok the bad about this restaurant. I have two small children and I take them to play in the playroom every time. The playroom is a jungle. All the kids in there act like a character out of jungle book. All the parents think they can take them there and forget about them. There are a set of rules outside and the last one stats, "children in the playground area must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all time". Not all parents accompany there children in there and therefore the kids do whatever they want. I frequently have to tell other kids to behave and Abide by the rules.
