Stopped by P. Terry's and grabbed the Double w/ Cheese combo with an Arnold Palmer, and it did not disappoint. The burger was fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The double patties were cooked just right--not greasy--and the cheese melted perfectly over the meat. The veggies tasted fresh and crisp, and the bun was soft without falling apart. The fries were hot and crispy, and the Arnold Palmer was super refreshing with the perfect balance of sweet tea and lemonade. Overall, great quality for the price and fast service. Definitely a go-to spot when I'm craving a solid burger and something refreshing to drink. I'll be back for sure. read more

The Food isn't the problem today. Unfortunately, they do not pay attention to their drive thru. They have a tendency to always keep it to one service lane even if the line of cars reaches the interior access road. Easily 9-10 cars. The response was that they were waiting for the dinner rush at 530...an hour away. Not the right answer if you're in the service industry. Got two number threes, which are cheeseburgers with water and as a lettuce wrap. Service was very good and all the staff seemed cheerful and had a smile on their face. It wasn't very fast for them to call me for my food, but it wasn't too long either I'd say about average. But I did sit down. My two cheeseburgers were outstanding. Getting them as a lettuce wrap was really good. The lettuce was moist and crispy on the outside with the burgers in the middle. Good choice I would definitely get this again. Ever since I moved to San Antonio, I've seen these P Terry burger stand places everywhere. Today me and my daughter were looking for a quick lunch after a long day. Immediately upon entering, we noticed how clean the restaurant was. The staff greeted us and promptly took our order. The wait was minimal and the food tasted great. I'm not a fan of fast food burgers, but these were worth the price. Under $20 for two combos is a steal in 2025. They also give you a very generous helping of fries. I moved to SA from Austin, and so naturally I have a P Terrys addiction. I love P Terrys because the food always tastes fresh and their burgers aren't so heavy & greasy. I will say that certain P Terrys locations pay more attention to their fry quality, and this location can be hit or miss!! Their fries are only good when they're fresh, and quickly become too oily/ greasy. When their fries are spot on though- they're some of my favorite! The shakes are also delicious and I love to check out the seasonal flavors. We've gone through the drive through here and eaten inside, and the restaurant has plenty of seating and is kept clean. I love the P Terry's values of using fresh ingredients and their support of the community. After the Kerville flooding they donated a lot of money, and the owners seem to be kind & honest people. They also keep their prices lower than any other fast food chains of this quality. They're in the HEB/ Costco tier of businesses in my eyes. read more

Your classic burgers, all natural and enjoyable! Unfortunately I'm not able to try their special sauce since I'm allergic to tomatoes, but everything I had was good and simple, and wished they'd use better lettuce instead of just the white part. Service I couldn't complain. It was good. The restaurant was busy, and only seating was outside. With texas being hot, hot, and wt hot .. it wasn't really as enjoyable. It did have shade, but still, I would rather have sat inside than outside. My burger tasted dry and bland. There wasn't much flavor to it. I enjoyed my fries. No complaints there. I got tea which you have to sweeten yourself but I didn't mind. Got a blueberry milkshake. Let me just save you the time and money and say don't get it. Just avoid it like the plague. It was gross. The texture of it didn't make sense, and the taste was just as bad. Just stick to getting a soda or tea. I like the location better on wurzbach than this one. P. Terry's really reminds me of another burger place from Cali! This stand is brand new so very nice inside, clean and bright! And as soon as we walked in we were greeted. Ordered our food and recieved just a short few minutes later. We both got a single burger since we did not know the size of the burgers. The burger was small (think kids meal), lukewarm, the cheese was barely melted (& not the best processed cheese there could be ;)), the grilled onions were there, but not? (See pic) Lol I don't know y'all, I wasn't impressed at all. The fries were fresh cut, thin and pretty tasty with ketchup. The root beer from the fountain was good and, they had that small, fun to crunch on soft ice. Thought about a shake, but it was too cold out for more cold. Have visited twice this week! The first visit, being our first visit ever to any PTs... was excellent! Those fries. They are so amazing. Retro sofa covers are pretty cool. The place is amazingly clean and you can see everything the cooks are doing. Altho I'm not sure at some places that's a good or a bad thing. Second visit which I'm still enjoying is great as well. I got my food and my burger was ice cold! I took it to the front and the young man seemed confused but a lady quickly stepped in and just got right on making me a new one. It was super hot and she wanted no time. When I say the young man was confused I didn't mean he was being rude. He was just like how in the world is it cold. The other lady, obviously more experienced was like who cares! Let's get her another one. I liked that very much as I really wanted to eat at the same time as my son as we came together!
