I went in on October 20th, late night. When I walked into the store, I could feel the two workers women in the front making me feel guilty I ever walked in. I got looks from the employees that says: "Please leave I want to go home." When placing my order, the lady assisting me mumbled her words, making it nearly impossible to understand her. She then looked at her co-worker with the look "Can you believe this person?" right in front of my face. After my order was taken, I told one of the workers to please add the olive oil blend on the side and not on the sandwich. She replied, "Okay, I'll put it in the cup for to-go." Not even 10 second passes by and she puts the olive oil blend onto the sandwich. After this, they go ahead and forget the mayo and bacon on my sandwich, but I just take the sandwich and leave without saying anything. While I empathize with the challenges of working a late shift at a retail location, it doesn't excuse the errors in my order and the unwelcoming atmosphere I felt the whole time I was there. Maybe don't come in to this location late at night, but personally I am never coming back to this Jersey Mike's location. I never go to this jersey mikes location but I went today because I passed by it. As soon as you walk into this place the employees don't greet or have a smile on their face. I ordered a sandwich and the lady didn't even ask me what bread I wanted and when I told her it was the wrong bread she just says ok. I told her you didn't even ask me what bread I wanted and she says yes I did! She never said sorry about that . Then when I was paying she didn't even put the sandwich and chips in the bag for me. I had to ask her for a bag. When I left I turned back and said very rude workers and when I said thank you for the bag she didn't even say anything. The point is if you don't want to work then don't be there. Looks like grumpy people in this location and I think the manager was sitting on his computer and he didn't even say anything about it. When I said to her you didn't ask me about the bread he just turned his head. I always go to the Paramus location. They are so nice there and always greet and have a smile on their face. No one should go to this one!! A bunch of rude workers who never even smile and say thank you or have a nice day. The lady looked like she had an attitude. I will never go to this location again. visited this restaurant w/ my 16yr old son on Feb 27th at 7:39pm.One of the most unpleasant nd a truly disguisting experience I've ever had in a fast food.As I entered the place I viewed the menu, There were 2 employees one working in the kitchen and the other at the register as well as food prep for customers.Just so you know, regardless if it was a rainy day that strip mall had patrons coming to adjacent restaurants. Jersey Mike was empty. The restaurant looked sloppy. The main person is listening to some weird music on his cell phone. And his interaction is horrible. I'm staring at his back as I'm waiting for him to turn around and take my order. As I'm placing my order he does not look clean and he's either singing or speaking to someone on the phone. which was weird. I am so reluctant in placing my order, but do it anyway, as stupid as it seems. After I pay he throws somemeet on the grill, yet he's popping his pimples and running his hand all over his face. The man does not look clean. I was so grossed out, I asked for him to give me my money back and cancel the order. He wouldn't give me the money, So ! asked for the receipt and walked out. The man looked filthy. Seriously!!! what the fuck are you guys running? My total bill was $11:72 w/ Tax. I don't really care how you are running your franchise, If you can credit my money! This Jersey Mikes is a 5* all the way..I had gotten an E-mail for 25% discount for a App. order..I have never used the App to place an order it started out as a tech night mare..I called the River Edge NJ store for help with the App., Ricky the manager was able help to after 3 calls back. When I placed my App. order the 25% wasn't taken off, so another call back to Ricky was in order,he was generous enough to give JM's gift cards for all my future orders.. Looks like they now have a really good crew at the River Edge store. Also last couple sandwiches were quite full. Ricky and the crew there, are a credit to your growing company..I will be returning!!! What a big difference from my first visit there..See my review for 10/9/2020. Went here and the manager strictly told me that I can't have my bread toasted(cross contaminated) couldn't have my cold cuts warm up cause that(cross contaminated) or the cheese either cause that also cross contaminated. Good Lord has this place declined fast! You have to shop around to find slower and more apathetic service. This is probably owing to the near-constant turnover of staff. It is absolutely unacceptable to REPEATEDLY come in AFTER the promised time to find that they have not even begun to prepare your order. If my kid didn't love these stupid sandwiches, I could drive to the supermarket, buy the ingredients, drive home and make my own sandwich before they get to my order. Worst place to get a sandwich ever!! I always get their veggie wrap and ask for no oil. Of course every time I order my wrap it is DRENCHED in oil. So much that I lifted my wrap up and the oils just came pouring out. The icing on the cake is now the wrap is soggy and all soaked from the oil that you can't even eat it cause all you taste is oil. I received coupons in the mail so I checked it out. I ordered the Jersey Shores favorite. That was amazing!!! My more ordered the big kahuna... that one was alright. I went to purchase my wife lunch so that she can eat during her lunch break with strict instructions on how the sandwich should be prepared since I've not much experience with the menu or ordering. They ended up not hearing my requests on how I'd like my wife's sandwich to be prepared and when I called to complain and have it rectified they put this angry woman on the phone who I had to then argue with before having them try and tell me that I ordered wrong and tried making me feel bad about it. This company as a whole should be sorry for the poor management and poor selection skills in allowing that associate the authority to call herself manager. My wife orders there frequently and her order is constantly being messed up due to lack of attention to the details. I rate this restaurant one star, The kids working there are but they need someone managing them and teaching them how they should work. read more

The River Edge Main Street worker with Santa hat and green hair (with arm tattoos) was the one of the nastiest people I've dealt with. Had no patience and was so rude. When customers ask a simple question she demoralizes them. My order was 20 minutes late. I am not mad about the order being late, but she gave me so much attitude when I asked if it was ready. I've ordered at least once a week for the past year, and every single time- not kidding, 100% of my orders have at least one mistake, often more. They try to make the food so fast, they simply don't ever get it right. Sometimes, I've gotten the completely wrong sandwich. Others times, they ignore my customization requests. Mistakes happen, of course, but Jersey Mike's in River Edge, it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. They simply don't give a crap about your sandwich, and that's annoying as a paying customer. Only giving 1 star so that i can post the review. We were excited to have a new jersey Mike's open close to home but are so disappointed. We've ordered twice since they've opened. The 1st time, ordered online, went to pick it up, sandwich was not ready and the normal sandwiches we would get from the Essex St. location, were not made properly. There's definite training needed with the employees putting these sandwiches together. 2nd time ordering...we ordered online. Got to the store when it was supposed to be ready and waited another 20mins for 1 sandwich. My husband saw them make it, they left it on the counter and the entire staff ignored him. His sandwich was just sitting there while the employees were either in the back or working on other sandwiches. He was also the ONLY customer in the store and never asked what he was waiting on. Suggestions: Re-train the entire staff. We love jersey mikes and are so disappointed in this location. read more
