First time trying the subs we had the coupon that came in the mail buy one get one (half sub) . Everyone that was working were all so nice and friendly . Very clean inside. My hub ordered the chicken salad sub, the chicken salad flavor and bread does not compare to Deli & Brew Subs which we r used too not even close with flavor and size either ( we love Deli & Brew Rolls ) . The chicken salad was not that flavorful mostly "very peppery" and the bread sorry to say not a fan at all of the rosemary parm topping which my husband asked for the Italian roll but he didn't know that meant rosemary parm topping on the bread which makes the sub salty , not their fault at all he didn't know about the breads . The sub was very well made and full to ratio of the bread but overall not a fan. When this place opened, it was so good. Yesterday was awful. The lettuce was rusty -- it looked old. When I got to the cashier, there were 2 prepared subs laying there on paper -- not wrapped/rolled. The cashier gave me my change and the dollar bills fell onto one of the subs. There should not be unwrapped subs next to the cash register. Disappointing. My lunch with a friend at Jersey Mike's consisted of a half Italian Mix sub sandwich. It was great. I piled on an assortment of seasonings and fixings. Lettuce, tomato and onions. Oil and vinegar. Spicy pepper paste. The deli meats tasted fresh. Service was fast and friendly. They moved our line along as the lunch crowd began to build. As for ambiance, it's a sandwich shop. Nothing fancy, but fairly looking. I took a point off because the table tops could have used a bit more cleaning. I see that a lot these days. Still, it was a really good sub. I finally decided to try Jersey Mike's after putting it off for so long. With that being said, I wish I never did. Knowing that, I ordered a ham and cheese sub and it wasn't very good. To explain, the bread was flavorless and didn't taste fresh at all. Furthermore, the ham was rubbery and obviously not fresh. Now, you would think that the price would be cheap, but that was not the case. To make clear, a full sub costs $17 which is absurd for such low quality ingredients. I honestly don't get why people go to chain sub shops. You can go to any local sub shop and get a much better product for cheaper. It's just a shame. In the main, Jersey Mike's is another below average sub chain that offers nothing to society. read more

I decided to give Jersey Mike's a try and ordered a "large" tuna sub and a "regular" tuna sub... basically a sub and a half. I had Swiss cheese and onions added, but nothing else. No chips, no drinks. Got to the checkout and thought I misunderstood when the cashier told me it was $39! One and a half subs... for $39! Were they good? Yeah, they were OK... but I get a bigger, better sub at the JiffyMart just up the road. The subs are bigger -- their regular sub is a full sub. Any they use Boar's Head meats. The cost is almost half of what Jersey Mike's charges. I understand that quality costs more and that staff and other overhead has to be paid. But getting just a buck back from two $20 bills is, frankly, insane. Unfortunately, I won't be back. Inflation is currently at 3.8%... and I'm thinking Jersey Mike's is responsible for 3.5% of it. read more

I guess I should have read the reviews better before getting our subs here. We ordered two subs and both were wrong. By the time we got home and noticed they were already closed. They made mine on the wrong bread and it was disgusting and I had the throw it out so I wouldn't get sick. They couldn't even get a ham and cheese Mikes way right. I did send a message on their survey and the response was pretty much " we're sorry hope to see you again soon". I'm sorry but that's not likely going to happen. We have better options around here, we were just close to Jersey Mikes when we were hungry. I think I'd rather eat a lunch-able than stop here again. read more

I have been going to Jersey Mikes in Rensselaer since it opened. probably two or three times a week I have ordered either a regular or giant half chicken/half steak with only Swiss cheese for my 14 year old granddaughter. about two days ago I tried to order the sub. the manager, who was new, gave me a hard time about it but had it made for me. I did not recognize any of the staff. I just went there today and was told they could not make it for me because of cross contamination. This clerk told me he had heard the conversation between me and the manager. Cross contamination made no sense As a reason. So, I ordered a regular steak with peppers and swiss cheese. I said no onions. that is what was written. I advised the clerk who had taken my order That there were onions on the sun. he went and checked the order and told the cook "no onions". he then said he would have it remade. I said never mind. I stood and waited over ten minutes before anyone even took my order. i was nor going to wait any longer to get a sub which was not what my granddaughter wanted. I felt invisible, not heard, and disrespected!!!! Oh I always tipped well. I drove to Fuera Bush to that Jersey Mikes. I asked if he could make me a half steak/half chicken. He did!! No issues. rang up the order wrong, the veggie wrap is literally peppers, cheese, and you can add like tomatoes and lettuce. That's IT. All for $8.95. Overpriced and terrible service, wait time was extremely long and the employees are not nice at all. The girl who did ours didn't know how to wrap a wrap. Just go to subway. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs are no substitute for an outstanding sub. Now, I gave it a solid 3 rating. To me, that's right in the middle of good and bad. Service was outstanding. Attentive, well trained and accommodating to my quirky order. It was good, I ate the entire $17 giant sub. Price seemed high but......supply chain, covid, can't get anyone to work could be the blame. That's where the good begins to fade. It's an average sub from nothing more than a sub shop. It wasn't made from top shelf cold cuts but not economy Walmart cuts either. I got the Italian mix which was really light on the salami and pepperoni and heavy on the ham. That wreaks of cheap to me. The bread was average but good while the fillers LTO we're just that....Fillers. The roast beef sub I ordered was tasteless. Not bursting with flavorful roast seasoning...average. In the end, I wish them much success in their new location. I just can't get past the $17 sub price....it's a step up from **bw*y but a steep step down from the local Italian import deli that uses top shelf meats. read more
