Do owners just stop caring? Stopped in on Saturday afternoon the place was dead, should have been our first clue. It was absolutely filthy. The guy making the pizza piled everything in the middle so when it came out of the oven it was dry and hard on the sides and wet in the middle. Ewwwww. What happened to nice menus boards? Now they just look pathetic. I don't see it lasting more than a few months with new burger place next door. How hard is it to keep your place clean and have at least one professional staff on at all times. We really used to like this place but it's the last time we will come here, so sad read more

People working acted like we were an inconvenience for ordering pizza. Rude, slow, terrible service. We sat in line for an hour for 5 pizzas. Update: they did refund us. They were very nice about it read more

We returned here after about six years and I will start by saying that the pizza is just as good as before. It is assembly line, make-what-you-want pizza, and thus for the most part it will taste as good or as bad as you want. (No cucumbers!) The staff were friendly, and though we waited in line about 10-15 minutes from start to finish to get our pizza it never really seemed that long. Perhaps that is because you can watch the action as you wait. However, they lose a star because the facility is worn out. It is dark and the music is loud. Several of the tables I looked at were dirty, and the one we sat at rocked a lot (and not like a Springsteen concert). The garbage containers were overflowing. Worse, the hall by the public bathrooms were filthy, the flooring was chipped, and the it just wasn't a nice place to be in. Does this effect the food? Probably not. But, serving tens of thousands of college students has taken its toll on the place and it needs a refresh. Still good pizza, but not a great atmosphere. read more

Good pizza. they seem a bit understaffed for the volume coming in. But one thing I will say, bring back broccoli!

Do not recommend eating here. I don't know if I caught it on an off day or what but this place needs a serious deep cleaning I felt like it was a burden on the staff that I came in and ordered a pizza. Your Better off going to a family owned pizzeria in the area read more

Okay pizza just lookout for the fruit flies!! Lights off in dining room during our visit until about 2 pm when they must have realized. Had never been before and employee just stared at us and didn't explain anything and seemed genuinely unhappy. Bathroom was in the worst condition of any we've seen. Dirty windows and messy dining room. Not busy and 3-4 employees working...one with a five guys hat on though so unsure about that! read more

Have eaten at this Blaze location for 4+ years and never had an issue. Always fresh, hot and prepared as ordered. Also, customer service is excellent! Highly recommend!! read more

I was very satisfied with the quality of the food for the most part, the pizza was delicious but burnt at times. My main complaint was the service, it seems that these employees judge your every move, each of them made a comment about me ordering a large quantity of food for my group. The ambience in this place was great, it was spacious with good lighting and decor. Overall, I will give this restaurant 3 out of 5 stars. read more

Ordered online to be picked up only to wait for an hour for my pizza and watched other customers wait for assistance just to be ignored by two workers for 10 minutes read more

This used to be a good business model for fresh, fast pizza. Not sure if there isn't enough staff or just not enough motivated or interested staff. It wasn't very busy at all, but what a bottleneck waiting for our food. No one helping anyone else out and when the pizzas came out the "cook" had no idea whose thy were, nor could he pronounce anyone's names. This used to be a favorite place. Used to be. read more

Don't come here. They are severely understaffed. We waited 45 minutes to get our food and the two people working here were extremely worn out. Overall a very unpleasant and depressing experience. Will definitely never come back. read more

Food was fresh, tasted great. Service fast n friendly. Comfortable seating. I love how they make it in front of you and load the toppings on. Going back soon. read more

We ordered 2 simple cheese pies and 1 pie with broccoli topping. The crust was delicious, the pies were hot, and the broccoli topping was quite generous. The servers who prepared our pizzas did an awesome job!! Despite the restaurant being very crowded with patrons, our pizzas were ready in fast order. Service is always top notch and the servers are friendly and helpful. I am a huge fan of Blaze Pizza wherever I travel. Highly recommend! read more

My wife and I stopped in Stuyvesant Plaza to grab a pizza. We were very disappointed, listening to the people behind the counter talk. Young Male and a female behind the counter yelling F bombs across to each other, kids were around , A mother and her two kids walked right out and my wife and I walked out right behind them. Sad. Will stick going to Clifton Park if we go. read more

The pizza is aggressively mid, and the service is amazingly slow and disorganized. If you order online, expect to wait 30-60 minutes after the stated pickup time. Not worth the time or money. We've ordered from here many times, but we're done. They're a lost cause read more

It was such a delightful to indulge into my large pizza with the three different combinations which I had meatball chicken and sausage. Blaze Pizza is a superb pizza place that does the job right. My friend was here and he was so happy to enjoy the two slices of pizza that he had. Compliments to the Chef! read more

Had a really great lunch at Blaze Pizza today. The pizza was absolutely delicious! The best part was that it was fully customizable with a wide variety of toppings and ingredients to choose from. However, it took an unusually long time to get our food, something in the neighborhood of 30 minutes or so. While I understand that quality takes time, it's a pizza joint, not a formal restaurant, so the wait seemed excessive. Someone mentioned that the staff might have been new, and if so, it definitely affected the effiency of the service. But despite the longer than expected wait, the pizza was pretty awesome. Everyone in our party loved it. The flavors and the quality of the ingredients were outstanding and it ultimately made up for the ridiculous wait time. Overall, I would rate Blaze Pizza 4 stars. Would have easily been a 5 if they didn't put us through the grinder in that absurdly long line! read more

The pizza was eh. I got a large sausage and mushroom pie. It could've used more cheese and sauce. It was small for a "large" and the toppings were scarce and mostly in the middle. Between delivery, tax and tip, it was around $34. read more

Unfortunately one of the worst Blazers locations I've ever been. This was all about service or lack there of. I can't tell if they hate the boss or lacked training or just were all having a bad day. We lined up ordered. So far so good. Then we should be paying and awaiting the food. Nothing happens for 5 mins. Then 10. I can see at least 7 ppl walking around working. But only pizza chef by oven is working hard. Everyone else is going slow motion or doesn't know what they are doing. Very disappointed. We ended up getting pizza but it was meh. Location was okay clean. read more

The pizzas were exactly how I ordered them. The girl making my pizzas was the sweetest nicest person I've ever met at Blaze.

i LOVE this place, the workers are so friendly and very quick with orders even when busy. The manager with the black beard and normally backwards hat is the best he's so funny. read more

I love Blaze, it's the one place I can get what feels like "real pizza" for me (love their white sauce) since I can't have tomato. This location has never been spotless - the ingredient bar needed to be cleaned off more often and a constant problem with fruit flies by the drink station. We haven't been there in at least 6 mos, and walking in last night gave me pause because it didn't smell great right in the door. Then the ingredient counter was filthy, it was about 6, not busy, but picking up (3 people waiting on pizzas, no pizzas at first in the waiting rack, but then they were starting to fill them with online orders). The counter was so covered in food I have a hard time thinking it was just from the lunch rush. I talked myself out of leaving because I really wanted that pizza but I'm not sure I'll be back. Beyond the food bar, there was standing water outside the door to the back room by the pizza oven, the cabinets under the drinks are starting to fall apart, the floor/floor trim are filthy back there and the wall next to the drinks looks like it's been splattered multiple times and never cleaned. read more

I've had two very poor experiences here and I usually would never leave a bad review. The first time was I went with my friends and we got two cheesy breads. They were super behind on orders and everything was really chaotic. We waited for an hour and I barely got my cheesy bread but my friend didn't get hers. Could've walked out without paying for mine as well, since they were so busy. The second poor experience was last night. The girl taking my order didn't ask what I wanted, instead stared me down until I got the memo that she wanted to take my order. It was very scary and didn't feel welcoming at all. The place was a mess, pizza on the floor everywhere, though the manager was around. The food was also very greasy, although the food usually outweighs any bad experiences; usually. read more

We have always stopped here for a great pizza over the past 5 or 6 years! That went down the tubes tonight. We had to wait while 3 staff members argued who was taking their break and when. When they finally acknowledged us, they couldn't have been ruder. The condiments table was filthy. The chicken tasted like rubber and the greens were all wilted and needing attention. The cashier was the rudest. Don't hand me my change or my pizza to me sideways without. a word as you're talking to your friend. The staff used to be friendly and efficient. This group of nasty workers must have been forced to work there. You better get them under control before they scare away more customers. I'm done. read more

Blaze Pizza - Salad Near Me - Albany, New York

If you're going to do fast food pizza, this is the way to do it. I've been meaning to try blaze for quite a while. This is quite the popular place! We got there just at the right time because a large line started to form after we placed our orders. So this is the the chipotle of pizza. I approached the counter, flooded with options of crust, sauce, cheese, toppings, oh my! I was a bit overwhelmed, but the employee behind the counter was friendly to help. I am happy I came once, and I think we'll be back soon. I made a few mistakes and I would love to return to try and make my perfect pizza. And that's the fun of it. You make your own pizza and they quickly cook it in a hot oven. We went from ordering to eating in about 5 minutes, even when it was busy. For my tastes, I did pesto, ricotta, mozz, salami, garlic, basil, seasoning. I think I'd switch it up a little next time. I love salami on pizza so that was great. The roasted garlic cloves were delicious. I missed the option of final toppings. I would have added something at the end, so don't be a fool like me and have your dining partner get your pizza for you. You wanna go up and get some finishing touches. There's so many options and it was all really tasty. They also offer a few bottled beers so, bottoms up! This is certainly great for what it is, it's not gourmet, and that's ok! Go eat some pizza. read more

Don't know what happened, we used to like this place, but just had the worst experience. Service was terrible, and it took close to an hour to get two pizzas made. The place wasn't clean. The servers weren't friendly or helpful. They need a manager! Too bad for everyone. read more

I was heartbroken after eating from Blaze Pizza this afternoon. My coworker told me about Their pizza and said that it was really delicious, so, I gave it a try. When it came, the pizza was cold the garlic knots were cold too- burnt on the outside and the inside it was Doughy and undercooked. I'm just overall disappointed that I had to pay for this cold food but I gave them two stars. One for the fact that the crust on the pizza was delicious, and, I also gave it another star for having the build-your- own pizza option with the ingredients and toppings that I like. So, foolishly I ordered from blaze pizza again today because I wanted to give them another chance. I ordered the garlic cheesey knots and the same personal pizza as the day before. Again when it arrived, it was cold UGHHH BLAZE PIZZA GET IT RIGHT! Why are you serving cold food to your customers. I'm upset that I spent a total of $40 in two days for cold food. Fool me once...Smh. I'm taking a star away. They should change their name from Blaze Pizza to Arctic Pizza bc their food is always cold. read more

I ordered food from your establishment on Stuyvesant plaza location. I placed an order online and said it would be ready at 7:27 p.m. I get there at 7:37 p.m. Food is not ready. The restaurant was filthy. Not a good sign. I give them my name not told how long. I wait almost 30 minutes after the promise time. I finally get home. Both pizzas are made wrong. The second pizza was raw. I paid $45 for food I can't eat. Now I have to order more food. Don't waste for time or money. Now just waiting for a refund. read more

I'm incredibly disappointed at this point--not just by the poor experience I had at Blaze Pizza in Stuyvesant Plaza, but also by the insincere response I received afterward. Rather than addressing my concerns directly or offering any meaningful resolution, I was sent a generic "sorry" message with a link that turned out to be little more than an advertisement for Blaze itself. It feels like my feedback, and my experience as a customer, simply don't matter to them. read more

We haven't been here in a few years and before we have had a generally positive experience. We went and bought 5 pizzas for the family and the customer service was horrible, the place was dirty, and our food was burnt. The line was practically out the door, and not because the employees were backed up, they were just really unorganized and doing everything out of order. It took us probably 30 minutes to get our food after we paid which is ironic considering the point of Blaze Pizza, We were not the only customers frustrated, others had burnt pizza and have been waiting for nearly an hour, We will not be going back. read more

Delicious pizzas. The fella putting on the ingredients was SO pleasant and he picked them on!! Very nice experience.

DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING. This restaurant does not care about proper food handling or storage. They don't care about cross contamination or cleanliness. They are also extremely rude and unprofessional. They dismiss concerns about orders and yell at you if you ask about your order or raise food safety concerns due to receiving lukewarm/cold food. Today a worker tried to bully me into accepting a COLD pizza that had been sitting out for an undetermined amount of time, likely an hour according to the app. He accused me of being "entitled" and "impatient" for being concerned that my second pizza in the order was coming out an hour later! The food surfaces were also visibly dirty, which the workers thought was okay because the restaurant was busy. Reprehensible behavior and food safety ignorance means I won't be going back. read more

I was stumped for something to eat but with the heat we're experiencing, nothing too heavy. I found this place. The fact that it received 100% in its health grade, meant I had to try it. I got the twofer. Cheesy bread & their berry salad which was fresh greens with strawberries & blueberries and feta cheese. The dressing was a vinaigrette. Delicious! The cheese bread would have been an ace in the hole if there was a pinch of garlic. It was a little plain. Next time I go I will ask for it. The people were nice & fun. They had a great system to get the orders made and out. Great job, guys! read more

Had to correct staff twice while building the pizza as they kept switching our order with the person in front of us. When we got to the register to pay, we stood there for five minutes and had to ask to be checked out and given cups for beverages. When our name was called for the order, they AGAIN switched the pizza with person in front of us. We pointed this out as the cold toppings were being added and TYLER, the MANAGER, pinned the blame on us as customers for "mixing up the order". We explained what had happened down the line, but he continued to place blame on us, the customers. A fellow employee told us Tyler is up for regional manager. We suggest before you give this man a raise, you should put through customer service training, and maybe look into getting him some anger management help as he was pacing and very angry during our entire visit to the establishment. read more

I just ordered delivery and I regret it. The pizza is barely topped with anything. Literally even the sauce was skipped; it's so dry! There's barely any toppings. The pizza box was extremely light, so that was my first indication that this would be a bad experience. Worst part.....I paid almost 40 dollars for a "large" pizza that's the size of a Dominos medium. BUYER BEWARE! read more
