This place is nasty. You walk in and it looks like the floor hasn't been swept in days and the tables are dirty. The meat cutter was disgusting. There was so much old meat pieces from cutting all day. Clean it up once in awhile! My biggest concern is that the employees here do not understand the concept of wearing gloves. One girl (WHO WAS MAKING A SANDWICH) was wearing gloves and pulls out her phone to look at it and then put in back in her pocket. Not only that but she rung up people and touched the register and took someone's credit card WITH THE SAME GLOVES ON. How is this possible?? How do they not understand what gloves are for. AVOID THIS PLACE. After reading some of the reviews after my encounter I am not surprised people are getting food poisoning. What has happened to this location? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Jersey Mike's. #44 all day til the day I die. The question remains though. I'm giving them some credit for guessing I like jalapeños. I didn't order them, #44 doesn't get any, but they decided to put them in it anyway. That was a good mistake! My beef is with the online ordering system. It is faster to come in, get in line, and order. The older gent whom I stole my parking spot from, who took longer to get to the location, was able to slowly walk in and get his sandwiches before me. Perhaps the staff is slow, but I'd rather think the algorithm isn't synced to this store's order stack and cooking times. Yum! Love this place for fresh subs or "sub in a tub" without the bread. They have mini, regular and giant subs so we usually get a regular, or a giant and split it or a mini for a snack size. They're super fast and fresh ingredients! I recommend "mike's way" with olive oil and vinegar. Great service! read more

But they will pour on the oil and vinegar, and were prob instructed to, so be sure to speak up if you don't want your sub drowned in it. I have never been a sandwich person until here. The sandwiches are simple with a ton of flavor. Small shop, fresh ingredients, and great customer service. JERSEY MIKE'S SUBS 2501 W Happy Valley Rd | Phoenix AZ Why is this location charging $0.12 MORE for a Combo verses the individual price of a Chip and Drink? I contacted the store and they didn't know. They said the owner was aware of the difference. They stated to call corporate. I did and they confirmed that other stores COMBO price is less than the individual price. They said they would send a referral for owner to contact me. Two weeks and no call. This place has great subs and an easy app to order from. Been ordering from this place a lot since the pandemic hit in 2020. Today however submitted my order through the app as I always do and came home with 3 subs vs 4 in which I ordered. So called them to say my husband was going back and all they said was well we don't see the 4th sub here. Ok so what are they trying to say? Never apologized said the best they can do is just make another sub. How about at least comp me back for the tip I left. Just made me feel like I was trying to pull a fast one on them. Not happy. Terrible terrible terrible service!!!! So many wrong sandwiches!! Today was the worst! We go in and order. My husband was given someone else's sandwich today. We went back, an hour of our day wasted, to get the right sandwich. I would have eaten the wrong sandwich but it was made on wheat, which contains soy that I'm allergic to!! The staff completely ignored me standing at the counter for over 5 minutes. They were NOT busy, just 2 people in line and 6 people behind the counter working. I go to this store often now that it is clean and I don't feel like I may contract an unknown illness from something lurking in the corner. Lots of new faces working there so sometimes there's a bit of a wait, which is to be expected, and doesn't change the quality of the food I purchase. I noticed that someone posted about a 12 cent difference when purchasing a combo meal and I would like to add that I too have notes this and find it strange. However, I understand that setting prices is probably not a task the staff in the store handles, so perhaps nothing is getting done about it because they CAN'T do anything about it. Probably best to either buy your meal a la carte, go elsewhere to eat, or make yourself a sandwich at home. Will never come back to this location. The restaurant was packed and a family came in without a mask, but not a single staff member (easily 8+ people working the line) enforced the mask mandate and let the family wait in line, order and pay for their food without ever putting their masks on. Further, after 10+ minutes of us all waiting in line together, I finally took it upon myself to tell them to mask up and ended up being cursed out RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STAFF about how masks don't work and that they don't need to wear one. Placed an order on line, specifically asked if we could get the giant sliced three ways, was told yes. Ordered that sandwich and two regulars. Got home, the giant was sliced four ways for three people and the regulars were minis. Called the store and a girl named Haley answered, she was very rude, asked if we had the receipt, (not sure what that had to do with my order being incorrect), she asked me to hold and while I thought I was on hold I told my husband I was going to Yelp the service she stated (was listening to my conversation and did not put me on hold as she stated), she said whatever in a laughing tone and hung up. I called today to advise the manager of the terrible customer service, not expecting anything in return but she said to come into the store and see Bailey in the evening to get a refund, my husband went into the store and saw Bailey who proceeded to say she needed to wait for the manager to call and wouldn't give my husband the refund until he got tired of waiting and walked out. I recently ordered a couple of subs on my Jersey Mike's app today for pickup. When I went into the franchised location on 2501 W Happy Valley Rd in Phoenix l was absolutely amazed that this store was not practicing COVID-19 guidelines in regards to insuring the safety of its employees let alone customers. I'm what you would call a regular customer and only do business with this location primarily because of it's proximity to my home in Phoenix being within 2 miles. Upon walking in to the business I noticed that all the outside furniture was stacked upon each other in a rather thrown about manner to the right of the door. Here I am with plastic gloves on and a mask for prevention so that I personally would not transmit or for that matter come into contact with anyone that may of been exposed to COVID-19 either directly or indirectly. I'm doing my part but tell me what is Jersey Mike's communicating to its franchisees. There was no sign's whether homemade or otherwise to explain what the processes that were in place as a result of this pandemic. As I walked in I stood by the pickup side of the register to be noticed as I saw 2 customers come in behind me with one customer picking up and the other placing an order. Here I was standing there awaiting to be noticed. What I did notice was 6 employees with 2 employees standing at the door to the back room apparently doing nothing but talking to each other. The other 4 were working with gloves on and no sign of employees wearing masks at all and it goes without saying not practicing social distancing in any manner. Listen, I understand that it's tight quarters behind the counter and it's certainly difficult to maintain a 6 ft perimeter but they were on top of each other. After a few minutes, one of the guys asked if I had been helped. It was then that I was attended to and proceeded to walk out to my car out in front of the store. My wife then asked me if they were wearing masks and it dawn on me that in the midst of a global virus outbreak that it was business as usual for Jersey Mike's. I'm a good customer and quite frankly I enjoy their subs over many of the competitors because of the freshness and high quality of the meats. I have over 350 Jersey Mike's points and up until now I have been a loyal and recommending customer of Jersey Mike's in a good way. But now to say the least I'm floored by the lack of engagement during this period in the history of our nation that this is the approach that I received. I'm sure that I'm not alone with this lack of humanity. I thought upon home that I would call the store and a nice young man named Zak answered and I proceeded to ask him what the store was doing differently as a result of COVID-19? Zak politely said well we're washing our hands consistently and disinfectant anting our work areas. Ok that's fine, are you wearing masks? No we do not. And then he indicated that I guess we should be disinfecting the door handles for our customers ax well. I then asked Zak what are you doing for the purpose of social distancing? Well we have footprints on the floor where you should stand. Oh I see, and are there signs that indicate your policy's anywhere. Zak says no we do not have any signs. Ok, well so how should a customer know what it is that these so called footprints are for? Zak says I don't know actually. We haven't been told by our management. I asked if the manager is working today and he said no he is not. I then asked that I imagine that this is a franchise operation and do you have more than one location? No the owner owns several stores. Okay well that was enough for me to hear. And so I'm reaching out to you my fellow neighbors and customers of Jersey Mike's and ask yourself this question. Is this the type of business that I want to patronage in light of all the awareness of COVID-19's uncontrollable strength of spreading throughout the population. read more

When I went to go pay I always give at least 10% tip as I was walking out I realized didn't even get the right size sub and they charged me for the bigger size. This store is poorly ran. We have been here several times since it's convenient and close to home .. but every time we go they are out of something. This visit they were out of the rosemary bread and Swiss cheese. The white bread was hard and stale. The bacon was so crispy it felt like we were going to break a tooth. My son said his jaw was hurting after eating 1/2 his stale bread and rock hard bacon so he just ate the Turkey off his sandwich. We will not be coming back anymore. The locations by Frys and the one in Wal-mart in Anthem are closed. The one by Safeway appears to be open based on seeing the "OPEN" sign being on in the window. First, I'd like to say the rating isn't related to the quality of the subs but more of the customer service. This is a direct reflection of the manager named Claire at this location. I purchased 3 subs on May 24th. I asked for extra oil and vinegar on one of the subs. Instead of putting extra oil and vinegar on the sub, the person placed the oil and vinegar in two plastic containers. I picked up my subs and drove home. When I got home, I noticed the vinegar had leaked out of the bag and onto my leather front seat. I immediately called the store and explained what had happened. They assured me that a manager would return my call. Well, fast forward to June 29th. After calling and leaving 6 messages for Claire over the past two months, I finally reached her today. She basically told me that I was harassing her by calling and then had the audacity to say it wasn't their issue once I left the store. That somehow it was my fault that the cap on the vinegar wasn't placed on the container properly. Claire could have taken care of this by just calling me back. Perhaps offering a credit for a few subs or just saying sorry. But, no, she had to insult me by saying it was my issue. Wow, for someone who rose to the be the manager of a store, she has a lot to learn on how to treat customers. I have left two messages for the owners. I'll update this post if I hear back.
