Avoid this store and especially this person if you want to feel safe and respected
    Heather B.

When I first walked in they were making about 50 sandwiches all piled up. I asked the cashier(who was texting on his phone) if he could check my Shore Points and also how long the wait would be. He said i would be "worked in" and less than 5 min. I got onto the line that was starting to form and I watched them make everyone's sandwiches through this large(and i assume catering order). I recognized the guy slicing the meet as the Store Manager i had MAJOR issues with last year(where i was grabbed and threatend by him...i spoke to Regional Managers who seemed appalled at the time). He asked what I was ordering ajd I said a Kid's Turkey and Provolone but that I have an allergy and need clean gloves(he was slicing meat while we were talking). He sliced meat for 5 more sandwiches and I asked if that was the order from the previous customer and he said the large order was for 2pm but they "wanted to get it done early" and that the other sandwiches were "116 and 118" i asked what that meant and he said they were online orders since "those are more important". I asked how much long I would have to wait ajd he said until all of the orders were done. I said at that point i would like to to the regional since i know hes the store manager. He said "he remembers me" and starts to get REALLY nasty and unprofessional and then tells me i can leave the store. His WHOLE crew starts laughing at me and as the door closes i hear "F that b+×÷h" but of course the full words. This is GROSS behavior. Why is this "leader" still allowed to behave like this. Do not go unless you want to be treated like feces.

Jersey Mike's does not mess around. They are clean, fast, efficient and friendly on top of that! The meats are high quality and sliced to order. Splitting a regular sized Original Italian was the perfect amount for lunch!

3.75 I decided to try a ham and cheese sandwich today. I got Jersey Mike's for lunch. My husband ordered online and picked it up. The pricing is average for a sandwich. The pick up was easy and fast. I don't really know about the ambiance but my husband said it was a typical Jersey Mike's store. The ham was fresh and they put a lot of it in the bread. The cheese was provolone and it was okay. I think I would have preferred a bit more cheese but it was okay. There was plenty of mustard which is what I like with my ham and cheese. The sandwich does come with lettuce, tomato, onion, vinegar, oil, and spices which I usually get and enjoy but today I didn't feel like adding it to my sandwich so I customized it in the order without those ingredients. Overall I'd recommend it if you are in the mood for a decent sandwich with an average price.

(4/19/2024) had a coworker pick up a #13 Italian all the way for me for a weekday lunch. It had plenty of "juice" and a lot of zing. Bread was white and chewy. I appreciated the shredded lettuce. There was a sufficient amount of Italian deli cold cuts.

5 stars for a sandwich shop is not the same as 5 star fine dine- but I still feel 5 stars is deserved. I rate based on the type of place it should be. For a sandwich place it's great place to stop when you are starving and need food fast. Never had a problem here. Staff is very friendly for a fast food place. Food has a high turnover so it's always fresh. Today we are having a Philly Cheesesteak for the Mr. and a Portobello sub for me. I love having Vegan or at least Vegetarian options wherever I go.

Supposed to be a #8 Club Sub

Jersey Mikes is normally one of my very favorite sub shops especially when traveling. For the most part, consistent quality and accuracy of my order are big factors. NOT this Jersey Mikes. I've had more issues with inaccurate orders than all others combined. Sadly, I usually order the same thing, cheese steak wrap and a club sub wrap, nothing else. Food allergies so cheese steak is always the same, steak and cheese, period. While it was right this time, on multiple occasions it's come with onions and peppers so we can't eat it if we wanted to. Like the cheese steak, club sub is pretty much always ordered the same way. Everything on it with extra meat and cheese. As you can see, this order was nothing but a regular ham and cheese. I contacted DoorDash. They said they'd take care of it. They did nothing. I contacted the restaurant, I did get a call back and tried them back twice now but without any remedy, I'll go back to picking up at TooJays. Jersey Mike App deleted DoorDash app deleted

From the moment we walked in, the staff at the front entrance was incredibly welcoming and even took the time to show us around the market. The ambience feels like a neighborhood Italian shop, with shelves lined with imported products from Italy that make it fun to browse while you wait. It's a small, casual space that feels authentic rather than overly polished. We ordered the Italian sub with sun-dried tomatoes instead of the standard toppings, along with the chicken cutlet sandwich with vodka sauce. Both sandwiches had excellent flavor and tasted fresh. The sun-dried tomatoes were a great addition to the Italian, although I do think it could have used a little more meat. Considering the price, I expected it to be a bit more generously filled. The chicken cutlet sandwich was delicious overall, but the cutlet itself was a little dry. I asked for extra sauce, and initially the employee seemed reluctant and tried to charge me for it. After I showed him how dry the sandwich was, he gave me the sauce, which made a huge difference and brought the sandwich together. That interaction was really my only service-related critique. Overall, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, the sandwiches are satisfying, and the market has a unique charm you don't find at most sandwich shops. While it's definitely on the pricier side, the authentic atmosphere and quality make it a place I'd happily come back to. I'd love to work my way through more of the menu on future visits.

After a 10 mile hike at Orlando Wetlands, I was ready to eat. I'd read about Stasio's on some…read more"best sandwich" lists and decided it was time to try it out. I will be going there after every Saturday hike forever more. The lists did not lie. Stasio's delivered the best sandwiches I have had in Florida. Walking in, I must have looked confused because I heard a knowing voice ask if it was my first time in. I admitted that it was and a delightful employee walked over to me to show me around. Stasio's has a deli counter, a coffee counter, and several shelves with Italian foods. I quickly learned that sandwiches are ordered at the deli and brought out to the waiting area when ready. Coffee is ordered at a cash register and the coffee is poured or prepared after purchase. Any prepared foods, together with sandwiches and fresh bread, are paid for at one of two registers. Despite the crowd -- and it was crazy busy -- everything was remarkably efficient and the staff showed no sign of stress. I ordered an Egg and Pepper sandwich and a Caprese Sandwich. Bread is made onsite and it was as fresh and delicious. (I ordered a loaf of Semolina/Italian bread and brought it home, where it was eaten within a few hours. At $4.99 for a loaf, it is an amazing value and a great treat!). Both the egg and pepper and the Caprese were prepared simply and to perfection. Fresh ingredients pack a lot of flavor and my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Amazingly, I don't think Stasio's adds any fats to their sandwiches -- The egg in the egg and pepper, and the mozzarella in the Caprese do all the work. There are seats at a bar along the front window and a few tables outside, but I chose to eat in my car. At a peak time (like Noon on a Saturday), there was not a lot of available seating but it did seem that chairs opened up fairly quickly. After a 10 mile hike, I just did not think it was fair to anyone who might be seated next to me to have to sit next to me! No photos but others have shared enough that you can picture the experience!

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. They still have all the amazing sandwiches and super friendly staff. The location is clean and we opted to use the bar seating while we were there, but they have booths and tables as well. If you have not been in a while now is a good time to stop in since they have an even bigger selection of great food!

First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.

This mall does feel like a backroom, or liminal space. They are as advertised, a local Italian market, deli, and bakery. The trifecta, if you will. It's got a huge parking space area and located next to a gym. They offer a lot of Italian goods from cheese to meats to pistachio spread to snacks. The meat counter offers hot sandwiches and they even have a sandwich of the week. They have a bakery counter and to no one's surprise, many items will be sold out if you go at the end of the day. This was disappointing for me as I really wanted to try their pistachio sfogliatelle. So we got two huge sandwiches, which they cut in half for you, and some baked goods and coffee. They have a coffee counter and the lattes are good. We tried the sandwich of the week, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with caramelized onions, fig jam, and provolone. This was a 8.5/10. It was good, rich, and fatty. Not a light meal sandwich. Definitely had half of it and felt very full. We also got the Soprano, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with pesto, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh shaved parmesan. This was a 9/10. Lighter on the body than the other sandwich, but it was still filling and I can only have one half at a time. The sandwiches came out to about $30 for both, but that's almost four meals right there for that price. For the baked goods, we tried the Nutella sfogliatelle, pistachio creampuff, and a pistachio cannoli. A sfogliatelle is a laminated pastry that looks like a lobster tail. This was delicious and crispy and sweet. I wish I could have tried the pistachio one. This was a 8.5/10. The pistachio creampuff surprised me. This was a 8.5/10. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was good. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger. The pistachio cannoli was a 10/10. This was insanely good and perfect and I should have bought five of them. We tried the cookie butter latte from the cafe. This was a 9/10. The cookie butter was well mixed with the espresso and the espresso was strong and high quality. Overall, this place was a 9.5/10 and I will be back. I mean those prices and that quality moves it from the "let me try" list to the "let me be a regular" list.

Saw an ad for D'Amico & Sons and decided it was worth the drive over to the Oviedo Mall for lunch…read more I'm glad I made the trip. The market occupies a storefront outside the mall with plenty of convenient parking nearby. Once inside, I was impressed by how spacious it is. There's a bakery, deli, gelato case, and an impressive selection of prepared foods including lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, Alfredo, and other Italian favorites. Shelves are also stocked with imported pastas, sauces, olive oils, and other specialty items, making it just as much an Italian market as a lunch destination. I arrived around noon and found a short line at the deli counter. Even during the lunch rush, I had my order placed and was waiting in the pickup area within about five minutes. Now for my own self-inflicted mistake. I walked in fully intending to order the Sinatra with mortadella, but somehow had a complete brain freeze and ordered the Sparano instead. I didn't realize my error until I unwrapped the sandwich at one of the outdoor tables. Oh well...it looked too good not to dive in. The Sparano is built on a beautiful artisan roll with basil pesto, a cold chicken cutlet, Prosciutto di Parma, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle. Flavor wise, it was excellent. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. My only criticism was the overall texture. The sandwich ate a little dry for my taste, and I think it could benefit from a touch more moisture, perhaps a little extra balsamic, olive oil, or another spread to better complement the hearty bread. The roll itself was exactly the type of rustic Italian bread I normally love, with a chewy interior and beautifully crisp crust. Combined with the generous size of the sandwich, however, it became a bit of a challenge to take a proper bite. By the end, the roof of my mouth had definitely lost the battle with that crust. Even so, the quality of the ingredients and the generous portion made it an excellent value. Next time I'll actually order the sandwich I intended, the Sinatra and if it's as good as it looks, I have a feeling I'll be making this trip more often.
