I swear there is less meat than I remember The guy had meat from a prior sub on the slicing machine. When he put cheese on my sandwich it attached itself to some random salami or pepperoni when I was getting the turkey and cheese sub. He tried picking it off my sandwich but didn't get it all off. Food was good - as to be expected. The problem I had was with the customer service. The lady who helped me (brown braided hair to her mid back. I didn't get her name) acted like she didn't want to help me. She was rushing while making my sandwich. She was slamming things and even recklessly threw a knife on the counter. I told her I wanted 2 sandwiches but took the helped person in line after me before she even began to ask what my second sandwich was. The Naperville Ogden Avenue was exceptional ... clean tables and floors; cordial ordering people; and one of the best Club Supreme with toppings sandwiches ever consumed. I was frustrated with the JMs app and the store manager quickly and kindly resolved the frustration. My regular retail JMs was in Lisle and this one hit a home run with me. Ordered a couple of sandwiches for myself and my son through Doordash. I ordered a large BLT. What little bacon there was, was in the form of nasty, burnt SCRAPS, like you might scrape out of the bottom of a pan. Not a single decent piece. It was like they'd run out and dumped the crumbs into my sandwich. Absolutely blatant. It was inedible. We've been to the one on Maple in Lisle a million times, and have loved it every time. Just happened to be in Naperville, and ordered from the Ogden ave Naperville location. But I will avoid that location like the plague from now on. This is a small location found in the same area as Jewel-Osco off Washington and Ogden, and there's plenty of parking to be found. The service and staff are top notch, and the subs are great. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but I do like myself the Italian #13 or the Philly Cheese Steaks - beef or chicken! I love their bread and the freshly sliced deli meat for each order. Be careful if you order a Gluteb Free sub at the new Location at 75th and Naper. My husband ordered a GF sub for me(I'm highly allergic to wheat). The clerk said Preference? And my husband Said yes. He brought it home and the first bite it took I could tell it wasn't GF. I called the store and the gentleman said we he stated yes to Preference. So the prefer not to give him GF bread when he asked for it??? I get very sick when I eat gluten. read more

I'm a fan of Jersey Mike's, but this location is awful. I live in downtown Naperville, so it's a convenient drive to run out for a quick sandwich or stop on the way home. I've stopped by here dozens of times and more than half the time it is an awful experience. I'm done! The awful experience seems to always happen when the same young man is managing. There is inappropriate music blasting, the only communication is "What do you want?", and today I walked in at 8:20 and the you g woman with him said "we don't have bread" and everything was packed up and put away. The owner of this location should seriously consider restaffing. The location is not well managed in the evening. It isn't a good experience and they are turning down business. I'd give this location less than 1 star if I could. I won't stop eating Jersey Mike's, but I will stop going to this location because of the evening management. read more

Usually, I've had pleasant and outstanding service here. Today, I'm wondering why someone BEHIND me in line (who also ordered a cold sandwich) got their sandwich prepared and was checked out AHEAD of me. It seemed at least one person behind the counter prepping knew the person behind me as some sort of regular customer and then got preferred treatment. When I inquired about it, they lowered their heads and avoided eye contact and just mumbled something giving me the impression to just go. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, I got very sick 2 weeks ago after eating there. I thought it was the stomach flu or maybe COVID and I even got a Covid test which was negative. Called the doctor and it was in fact food poisoning. It's clean, well lit, inviting, and there are a decent number of tables. Staff: They are speedy and friendly, what more could you want from a franchised deli? Food/Drink: The sandwiches are great, I love them. I had the classic Italian and added a few extra ingredients. The sandwich was made right in front of me and to the exact specs I wanted. My go-to at Jersey Mike's is the Turkey & Provolone, but recently I tried the Chicken Parmesan, which I really liked. The sandwich was slightly on the messy side, but I wasn't looking to romance anyone. Come to think of it, you shouldn't try to romance anyone at Jersey Mike's. This may be my new favorite sub shop. None in the Madison area yet: the closest is in MKE, apparently. Here's the thing: THE MEAT IS FRESH-CUT TO ORDER, right in front of you. Despite that, the sandwiches are cranked out FAST. Ordering a sandwich "Mike's way" results in an herbed, oil & vinegar-dressed sandwich, loaded with veggies. I also love the tangy cherry pepper relish, which I get instead of the O&V or mayo. I have now tried the Club Sub and The Original Italian (the latter was my fave). I do hope we get a few Jersey Mike's in Madison in the near future: they make Subway look silly. read more

I've seen this place around my local Jewel for a few months now and I decided to give it a shot! Many thanks to Angela P. whose review I read prior to placing my online order. My 2 sandwiches were about $15 together. The turkey & provolone was hands down 5 stars! I customized it without the oils/vinegar and got pickles, banana peppers and cherry pepper relish instead. If you've never had cherry pepper relish and a fan of peppers, GET IT! You won't regret it! I hadn't heard of them until last year, and now I am obsessed. No wonder they say the turkey is their best sellers- it's one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The other sandwich we got was the chicken parmesan. Ooooo....the sub itself was warm and toasted, the cheese was gooey, but you can tell that the chicken was kind of cold (and reheated). I threw the chicken in the microwave for a minute to warm it more. Meh. When it comes to the store, I was surprised to see how big it was for the small store front. Lots of tables, the space was very clean, plenty of hands at the front making sandwiches at 1:30, and many people were eating there. I'll definitely be back to eat in! read more

JMs offers a generous variety of cold cut sub sandwiches made with fresh deli meats cut on site. The portion sizes are giant and trump other local sandwich places. Aside from menu options, the staff is incredibly helpful and personable. My only issue was that I felt full and slightly ill after eating here (on two separate occasions). It could be my stomach, but regardless be prepared for their giant portions. Overall JMs is a solid New York style sandwich joint with an expansive menu and large portion sizes. read more
