I have not been in a dirtier restaurant in my life! Every surface was filthy from the floor to the tables, counters, behind the front counter, everything! The one good thing about the place was the sweet young man making our sandwiches. He greeted us and spoke to us pleasantly. I certainly can't say that for any other employee. If my child hadn't insisted on eating here I would have left immediately. I really like Jersey Mike's. The staff at this location though is a joke. They are either undertrained or just dgaf about the job. There is definitely a mood change as soon as you enter the store. I ordered online and went to pick it up on a late Sunday afternoon. There was only 1 other customer in the store whose order was in the process of getting made. There were at least 4 people working there. No one greeted me as I came in. No one said "be with you in a minute". These things are Customer Service 101 and take zero energy. All I got from the girl making the sandwiches was a stare. Then another girl came out of the back, stared, then went back. Another customer showed up. The girl in the back eventually came back to the front and started taking that customer's order. The girl making sandwiches smirked and knew I had been skipped. Sandwich girl rang up the customer in front of me and finally asked if I had an online order - so she knew the whole time it was mine. Figuring they don't use words to communicate I pointed at my order sitting on the back counter. Said thank you and left. These chumps must not realize that if customers don't start showing up the store is either going to close and they get let go. Or they start firing people and replacing them. They probably don't care though. I wish they'd just quit so it wasn't such a headache to eat somewhere that I like the food. Online there is a section to leave a tip if you want to lol. YEAH. Terrible service. Used the Jersey Mike's app to place our order with CLEAR instructions on what to make. Only 2 of the 6 sandwiches were correct and one sandwich wasn't even delivered. DoorDash was fantastic in getting the food here before the estimated time. However when I called the store to get my order corrected they will not deliver the corrected sandwiches. The excuse was that I order through DoorDash which I did not. The only option they would offer is to remake the sandwiches for me to come pick up. The manager was less than helpful. Worst customer service ever!! I got there today at around 11:30 am and there was only one employee! I have never heard of such a thing. Then I had to wait 6 mins while the only employee was on the phone trying to calm an irate customer. Then he goes to start my sandwich and grabs a computer order. He then grabs 6 whole subs to make while he is making my sandwich, then a mom and son walks in and he adds two more to the assembly line. I left this was taking for ever!! I have never heard of customer service like this! Especially after making me wait so he could handle another irate customer. The best cheese steak turned to the worst cheese steak today! I've sworn by Jersey Mike's big kahuna cheese steak over any other cheese steak. Order it the way it comes on the menu, don't change a thing! With mushrooms, jalapeños, sweet peppers, onions and EXTRA CHEESE, this thing is usually the best gooey cheesesteak with the perfect sweetness and spice. However, today the cheesesteak came only with onions and sweet peppers. After showing some confusion, jalapeños were added, seconds before they stuck my sandwich in the MICROWAVE to melt the cheese!!! In the past it has been cooked on the grill, and you can tell a big difference. There was not extra cheese, in fact everyone was getting shafted on their cheese today. And the worst part, I couldn't even eat the sandwich the traditional way. Due to the microwave, the lack of cheese, the jalapeño juice that was dumped on last minute, and the horrible way that my sandwich was wrapped, it fell apart upon opening and had to be eaten with a fork. The bread had no cheese on it, only saturated with jalapeño juice and oils...to the point of a paste in some parts. And to top it off...no mushrooms! According to the menu... the sandwich comes with all of these toppings, customers should not have to ask for them. Employees should take more pride in what they are making for people. read more
