I'm honestly shocked at the overall 2 star rating here. I pass 3 other Whataburgers on my route in Athens to come to this one! It's always been consistent food here. I don't understand people complaining of waiting 10 or 15 minutes for food, that always comes out fresh and well presented! I can understand if the food was cold and and handled badly, but the wait is worth the quality of the food in my opinion. Customer service is always pleasant. I always have to come in because I'm in my work truck which is to big for drive thru, so i can't speak on drive-thru experience. I will always be happy to come to this location! read more

Ordered a take out late on Sunday and everything was great. We had three Jalapeño Burger meals, fries and onion rings. The food was fresh and tasty and the order was complete and correct. The place looked clean and the staff were efficient and friendly. I'm happy they worked out the kinks of a new business here. It's nice to have something local 24/7 that's good quality. read more

Slowest place in town. I made an online order at 10:00am that said it would be ready at 10:12-1015 am. I know how slow they are so I waited to leave my house until 10:30. I still had to wait till 10:38 due to "we waiting on your hash browns". read more

At the Whataburger location in Monroe, GA, I ordered the #13 chicken tender meal. I then ordered two more tenders to go along with this meal at $2.50 per tender. When I got home, to my surprise, one of the extra tenders I ordered was terribly small especially compared to the other tender. Very disappointing. See the pic to show what I paid for and received. Can quality control pay attention to this and prevent such an order from going out or is it an "I don't care" mentality and you just get what ya get... Smh... If I was an employee there and saw this, I would have tossed that baby tender and replaced it with an appropriate size one. read more

I was excited about whataburger coming to Monroe bc I when I lived in Texas they were everywhere and always great. I've tried this one several times and each and every time I've left dissatisfied. this is the worst whataburger i have ever been to. I order two sandwiches and a kids meal and EVERY time i come. (i've come 3 times) it takes 35/40 minutes NO LIE- to get my meal. they didn't have anyone at the second ordering window and so we waited a separate 10 minutes for someone to ask for our order. There was already a vehicle in front of us before and no cones saying that it was closed... my husband had to go inside and let them know that there was a line of cars at the second window. They said they just "didn't have anyone at the second ordering window" and they'd "handle that"... how can you not have someone operating at a drive through window or not mark it off? The burger was ok at best but very expensive the chicken biscuit was hard barely warm not again

My first visit of thisTexas jewel could not have been better. The burgers were excellent and fries were hot and crisp. For a perfect 5. However, my return visit today was an opposite experience. The food is great here but every time I come I have to wait what feels like 30 min and tonight I got harassed in the drive through because they made me pull forward and a stupid boomer couldn't be patient enough for them to bring me my food and proceeded to honk and cuss at me non stop and harassed me further until a worker came out and told me to move up. When I was just told just to come to the white line. This all could have been avoided had they had brought my food out sooner or had better drive through lanes. Very nice, new, clean and very friendly employees. I had a single cheeseburger only -not a meal. It was eight dollars. It was OK- not hot barely warm- definitely not worth eight dollars. I can either go to Five Guys or Wendy's for less and it be a lot better tasting. read more

I went to Whataburger tonight to grab a grilled chicken Cobb salad. I placed my order using the kiosk inside. Waited for 10 minutes and one of the workers comes out and informs me that they are out of Cobb Salads but I could get the Apple Cranberry Salad or she could go ask if they could make me a salad. I agreed. A manager returns and informs me that I can either order a cranberry apple salad or something else. I told her to refund my money. They were not busy, 3 customers in the building and only one had received their order. How is it that a restaurant open 24 hours doesn't have what they offer on the menu? everytime i have gone they have gotten my order wrong or forgot something. I have been four times. In addition to this I did not get hot fries once, as they were cold every single time. The employees repeat back what you ask for, and still it comes out wrong or missing something. very disappointing as I love whataburger, but it's just not worth it to get my order wrong and cold fries every single time. read more

I am honestly late posting this review but still wanted to give my honest review on Monroe's Whataburger. First I want to start by saying that you can tell that the employees don't see each others as coworkers but as a family which makes things more enjoyable. I came in Sunday morning around 3 am or 4 and shockingly customer service was amazing for it to be that early in the morning the person who took my order's name tag said Ty he was such a help with me deciding what I wanted and even suggested his favorite meals etc. After I got my food he came out every once in a while to check on me and see if I was enjoying my meal which was absolutely delicious. You can tell everything was fresh and cooked with love. I think I've found my new favorite restaurant and I will absolutely be returning again!!! read more
