I'm a sandwich connoisseur and they got the best around. Being a lover of sandwiches, a frequenter of Jersey Mikes, and a long time worker in the food industry worker, believe me when I say that while all Jersey Mikes are great, this one is the best. They've got these boys Andrew and Karston running the place so good it makes you want to be a part of it. If they asked me to come in one day and mop the floors I'd do it, and I'm not even on the pay roll. Thats probably the reason the whole staff treats everyone like V.I.P.'s, learning names, memorizing orders, smiling at you through the windows before you're even in the store. It was my first time trying this place so I was a little confused about the sizes and bread and topping and the staff had no patience for me at all. They looked very annoyed with me picking my toppings. I also said giant and they have me regular. I told them I wanted a giant and the girl said "well next time tell them that" I said I did tell them. All she said was "that wasn't in the ticket" and waved it in the air sarcastically. I have ordered from this store plenty of times, at least once weekly. I stopped because we usually order it for delivery and at least 50% of the time my order is wrong. Well my daughter is pregnant and she can't eat cold cuts and she wanted a cheesesteak sandwich, so we ordered last night. We ordered 5 different sandwiches and 3 bags of chips. I ordered mine with double meat and cheese, as you can see there's no double or cheese, I also asked for no MAYO in capital letters. Well not only did they not add the extras ($6.00 extra) they put MAYO on a 1/3rd of the sub! We only received 1 bag of chips, so either the driver ate them or they didn't get added to the order. This is the last straw with this Jersey Mike's, just no attention to detail, I'm sure they would not want their orders screwed up 50% of the time! read more

At least the theme of this Jersey Mike's is aligned with the other subpar locations in the East Valley. It's incredible how they have the knack to hire the most incompetent workers. This is the second time I've come to this location to order cheesesteak sandwich. And on both occasions they royally messed up my order. On both these occasions, I have ordered a cheesesteak with provolone, toasted bread, and instructed them to put lettuce, tomato, jalapeño, and chipotle Mayo. And this is the second time I come home to a sandwich that just has the meat and AMERICAN CHEESE. They wrap up the hot sandwiches behind the counter where you cannot see and check if they are adhering to your order. The workers lie to your face and it creates for a horrible customer experience and atmosphere at this restaurant. I'm tired of being robbed by Jersey Mike's locations in the East Valley and I'm equally as tired of these doorknobs and tree stumps they hire as workers. I recommend anyone who wants a sandwich made properly to just buy the items from the grocery store and make them at home yourself. What a truly sickening experience. read more

Sad, sad, sad.......very transient employees but to be expected and sandwiches are consistent. This is directed at the clueless franchise owner. Do you ever watch you business and talk to your employees? If you did, you would be well aware of the incredible frustration from customers every time they attempt to give you revenue through your credit card processor. It doesn't work buddy! For the past 6 months, trying to complete a transaction takes a good 4-5 attempts and takes as long as it does to make the sandwich. You're employees are all aware, watch it daily and can only shrug their shoulders and apologize to guests. I love Jersey Mike's sandwiches, but this location has some issues. Numerous times I've dined there or in the same plaza, I've witnessed frustrated customers walk out due to slow or poor service. The crew seems nice enough, but perhaps they're just taking on too many pickup orders to serve the in-house customers effectively. That being said, I've ordered online pickup twice, and neither time went well. The last time, after ordering on their site, I arrived well after the scheduled pickup time, only to discover that they had not even started the order. And they weren't busy - there was just one customer, and one of the employees was walking around sweeping up. To their credit, they offered to make up for it, but why was there a guy walking around sweeping when there were unfulfilled orders sitting there for 40 minutes? (Most likely answer: Poor management). We now go to the one off San Tan Village Parkway instead,even though it's further away. read more

Quick and easy lunch spot that always tastes fresh and gets you out the door fast! They have three sizes (I prefer the medium) and three different types of bread to choose from. I love how they cut the meat right in front of you so you know it hasn't been sitting out for hours! The staff is very friendly and restaurant is well maintained. I'd recommend you getting it "Mikes" way the first visit and alter the toppings to your liking on the next go around. Although I love the simplicity of the menu, I do wish they had more veggie variety. Also, a different side other than chips would be good i.e. fruit, potato or macaroni salad, etc. read more

First the young man who took my order didn't seem to know the meats or cheeses that were available and even forgot to put cheese on one sandwich. Well five stars for Postmates and one star for Jersey Mike's. Order two sandwiches from them through Postmates on Saturday night at 5:45. Everything was great until I opened the bag and only my wife's sandwich was correct. Mine somehow turned from a Philly cheesesteak into a small BLT on the drive over. So I called the store and told them that Postmates dropped off the order but their store made it wrong. I asked them to redeliver the correct sandwich for me and I was told Postmates is a completely separate company and that they can't do that but I can come in and get the correct sandwich. I suggested they pay for the Postmates redelivery since they messed up the order. He said he couldn't do that. I asked to speak to the manager and he said there was none working. I suggested he call the manager to ask him to make the decision and he told me to call back in 5-10 minutes. I asked for his name so I could talk to him when I called back and he hung up on me. So I called back right away and a new kid answered. I told him the whole story and asked who just hung up on me and he said he had no idea. I asked him the same questions and got the same answer that I could come in and pick up the correct sandwich. I asked him how you don't have a manager on duty on a Saturday night and he said they were not really a busy store and actually said you can trust me come and and take a look there is no one here. So I asked, if they are not busy, and there is no one ordering in the store how do you mess up a two sandwich order? No reply to that one so I said I'd be right in to pick up my correct sandwich. Go to the store and three kids working behind the counter with one customer at the register. First kid making sandwiches asked what I wanted and I said my #56 no jalapeños. He looked confused and asked the kid at the register. He said yeah regular no charge. So kid making the sandwiches had no idea, kid at register was the second person I talked to which left the kid in the middle. I asked him if he hung up on me (process of elimination right?). He gave me a deer in the headlights look and said he had not answered the phone all day. I said three people working and two people answered my call. Kid at register said there were four working but one just left. Ah-ha now it makes sense; the mysterious fourth employee. Not sure how a restaurant that admits to being a not very busy location can actually employee four kids and stay in business. Boggles the mind. I should have called Firehouse Subs. Lesson learned. P.S. if there is an actual manager who works there and who possibly actually looks at reviews, you might want to work on customer service and how to not screw up a two sandwich order. Considering how poorly the 3 (maybe 4) stooges working on Saturday performed I doubt that is the case. P.P.S. To the kid who actually made the sandwich. Making a joke about doubling the jalapeños when I asked for none is not funny given the circumstance. Be more professional next time. read more

I'm gluten intolerant so you won't find me in sandwich shops often, but I was picking up lunch for one of my partners, so I stopped. Immediately when I walked in, the folx working there greeted me and looked genuinely happy to be there. When I asked about gluten free options, the super helpful young woman behind the counter told me they had GF bread More than my excitement about the bread, the entire atmosphere was just - GOOD. The people who work there have great energy. They work super hard and - and I swear it's true - they make beautiful sandwiches. The put effort into preparing food for another human and that is something to celebrate. (I'm also not mad about the tall, sexy man in the blue shirt behind the counter.) The sandwich was delicious. The GF bread isn't fantastic, but it's GF bread, so expectations must be adjusted.
