Haven't been to Chick-fil-A in a while decided to see what's new on their menu and try it out again. Their drive thru is much nicer and more convenient they added two lines and added shade and water sprinklers to keep everyone cool. This heat in AZ can definitely get to you. It was 111 I enjoy there drive thru because even tho they were busy I felt like I didn't even wait as long at all. Line kept moving. The staffs are nice as well. I decided to try honey pepper spicy burger turned it into a meal added waffles fries and a pinapple dragon fruit sprite. I love the waffles fries it's gluten free and it's all potatoes! I generally like Chick-fil-A... However their customer service has gone downhill the past few years. They don't treat customers with respect anymore ...it takes forever to get your food... The prices are insanely high they literally doubled within the past five years. This is not the kind of customer service that I've grown into expect from Chick-fil-A... Could it be this just one location... Probably not cause I've seen this at other locations as well However, this particular location the employees and management have been extremely rude, arrogant, and just has a really bad attitude... This was my first visit since the renovation and I love the redo. When I walked in the line was long and I was wondering how long it was going to take. I noticed someone was training so it made sense. Everyone has to learn at some point. :) I didn't wait too long though because Shaunden jumped in and very efficiently helped get the line going. I was at Chick-fil-A recently and had such a great experience thanks to one of the employees his name is Eli. We had just gotten our food and realized there was an issue with out frosted lemonade. Another employee had already walked away, and we weren't sure what to do. Even though he was clearly on his break, Eli noticed we needed help and immediately got up to assist us. He didn't hesitate at all--he listened to the issue, apologized, and quickly took care of it by getting us a fresh drink. He was kind, respectful, and genuinely seemed to care about making things right for us, even though he didn't have to step in at that moment. It's rare to see that level of initiative and customer care, especially when someone isn't even on the clock. It really made a difference in our experience, and we left feeling taken care of. I'm never one to leave reviews, but I feel like I need to say something! Since the renovation, I have had hair in my food, not once, not twice, but THREE separate times. It's not just on top like it might have fell in, no it's inside the food. I have to pull it out. It's happened twice with chicken sandwiches and once with mac and cheese. The quality has gone down immensely, the wait is always forever. I love Chikfila and usually crave it but the quality and hair situation at this location has completely steered me away from wasting my money there. read more

I honestly think the quality of the food has significantly dropped since their renovation. Not sure if the renovation has to do anything with the food. In the past, I always did curbside pickup and received my order within 5, and up to 10 minutes at most, upon arriving. They were starving and they love Chik-fil-A, and they do not have one near them. Atmosphere - Typical fast food, but add the long line to wait to reach the cashier. Even with three registers going. I do like that they have one line to reach the three of them. You do not have to a chance of getting stuck behind the slow one. This location had a kid zone and it was open. I have to say this is probably one of the cleanest restaurants I ever visited. Food - #4 just the sandwich with large fries. Not to be confused with the #6 at Wendy's. Both serve a spicy chicken sandwich. My wife says I confuse them by just ordering the sandwich by number and not the meal. The menu board does say meal or sandwich. Clearly I did the cashier probably asked four times if I wanted drink even hearing my wife commenting. She did ask if I wanted pickles with the sandwich, I said yes, those were the saddest pickles I ever saw. One should have never left the pickle factory. I love the waffle fries, and the temp was not there. Really the sandwich was not that hot, and really that spicy. Service - Fast and friendly. As I said before the cleanest restaurant I have probably seen. They were out there cleaning and cleaning. Because just the sweeping and busing the tables, they have sanitizer wipes on the table. The manager said I'd have to do all sorts of things to get my points onto my app. The app needs work. Other apps allow you to scan your receipts if you forget to do it. There is no management of parking lot direction or safety. I waited in a long line like everyone else who was waiting their turn. When seven of us were cut off by an individual who forcibly put their car next in line, I called the store to notify them. I was basically told, "that sucks" followed by "that's your problem". I walked in about 10:45 and only one customer in front of me and many team numbers standing around, and I had to wait until someone decided to acknowledge me. I place my order and I told the cashier that I wanted to make sure o get my points. I out my phone under the scanner to no avail and I told her that it didn't add my points. Unfortunately visited this location and was surprised by such horrible service not only from the gentleman taking our order hurrying us through the line but the drive through window giving us the wrong order twice. Didn't hear a single my pleasure from the staff. We generally go to another location off Market and it's a whole different level there. Maybe some more training is needed. This Chick-Fil-A has given me one of the worst dining experiences i've had in my 20 years of living. It started with the TERRIBLE customer service I received in the drive-through when I was YELLED at and repeatedly asked questions i've already answered, I gave my thanks and never received the iconic "My pleasure". It got worse when I received my 8-count nugget meal and only counted 6 nuggets, I also asked for extra sauces and only got 1 sauce. If you want to save your time and money I would recommend a more fine dining experience elsewhere. read more

Aug 26, 2019, S Power Rd location. The mother shop entered stealth mode and went invisible. For a brief moment I believe the tower at Mesa Gateway airport detected our presence. We landed in the vacant field across from Chick-fil-A on the other side of S Power Rd. I engaged my shape-shifting unit and took the shape of a middle-aged, saggy gut, gray haired human. I drove the vehicle over to the Chick-fil-A and pulled up into the line. There were approximately 10 vehicles in front of me in different states of their order process. I wonder if anyone suspected that this was my very first time ever eating at a Chick-fil-A. Our planet picked up transmission signals about how great their food was, and how friendly these humans were at this particular place. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich only. I arrived at the window and handed the female human my credit card. She handed it back to me with a bag. She smiled and wished me a great day. If only she knew where our species come from, our single day lasts 18 earth days. Total time for waiting in line until I received my food was 11 earth minutes. I pulled out and parked in an adjacent parking lot and inspected my prize. I have attached photos of my experience for your amusement. How unusual. I thought a chicken was a live earth fowl. What I was seeing was a small, oddly shaped brownish red object on a bun. I wonder if I ordered the wrong thing. The object on the bun was not clucking or running around. These humans must do something with the chickens before bringing them to a Chick-fil-A. I took a bite of the object. I tasted a spicy taste, but I could not taste the chicken at all. I tried another bite and again all I tasted was a spicy mixture and again no chicken taste. I repeated this over and over. But as many times as I tried I could taste no chicken at all, only this spicy taste coating the object on the bun. While these humans at this place were cordial and happy, my experience with the sandwich was not ideal. I thought I would be able to taste the chicken and not just the outside flavor coating it. I will move onto another establishment in hopes of tasting this elusive chicken, instead of spices only. At least no one suspected this was my first visit to a Chick-fil-A. read more

I actually smelled the mess on the drive home . As a baker I know the smell of have baked bread and it started with the smell of the dough on the bunds of my mini chick biscuit sandwiches. Then I sipped on this mocha cold brew that tasted like straight up syrup from the mocha container and I almost puked it was so syrupy sweet ... that was just in route home When I got home I opened my bowl and I think the drive thru girl got hungry cause half my bowl was gone and I didn't do it ! I paid $5.00 and the bowl was showing the bottom of the bowl with the lid on . huh! And the picture of the fruit parfait and what I got looked like two different specimens. Maybe I got the fruit dip .. I dunno .. the picture shows all this luscious strawberries and blueberries atop firm Greek yogurt and I got four strawberries trying to stay a float in Greek milk ... drowning ! What in the world ! I went for lunch on a Saturday. The drive thru and dining room were packed. It did not take a long time to order. After placing my order, it took a while to find an empty CLEAN table. All of the tables were dirty! It appeared as if there was enough help but no one cleaning the tables or the floors. The food was good, and my order was correct without waiting a super long time. However, the place is not clean at all. Perhaps a visit from the Health Department is needed as complaints about the cleanliness is in may reviews. Come on Chick-fil-A, you can do better than this! Although the food is great- they have a serious issue with their delivery guy. I was in the drive through waiting to get my meal and I couldn't move forward nor backward- and the delivery guy needed to get through. Instead of waiting a few minutes for the line to move up he approached my vehicle and started cursing "eff you!!! Move up!!!" I then told a staff member who said "oh this happens all the time with him." How is chickfila putting up with their delivery guy talking to their customers like this!? Always a safe and good option for food! This location by my house is such a popular and busy one! It's in a cute plaza with shopping places and a bunch of other food places. I will have to say that the drive thru line is always long and wraps around the lot. I've never actually been inside the restaurant so I don't know how much faster it is in there. As for food, I usually get the deluxe with American cheese and a sweet tea. The chicken is so bomb and moist. It's just overall a good chicken sandwich. The chicken nuggets are bomb too but not as filling to me. I've tried the Mac and cheese and it's good but not the best I've ever had. read more

I typically love chick-fil-a and their management and people friendly style. However, after my recent visit to this location I have to wonder if their management and training is slipping. I recently went gluten-free and was reading that chick-fil-a was a good option. I went for breakfast and wasn't sure what they had so instead of the drive thru I went in. The girl said I could get grilled nuggets and fries for breakfast. I ordered and was happy only to hear the manager say, "we don't do grilled in the morning." I said, oh ok bummer what do you have and he basically said a piece of sausage and an egg. I had already paid and was like "bro, I'm not eating an egg and sausage in the car to work like a greasy mess. Lol so I got a refund. Then I asked how about just some fries for the service mess up and he was like, "we have to charge you!" No hook up, just too bad sir and have a good day. Bummed I ended up just not eating. I visited this store today as a "treat yourself," type deal. I visited around 3pm and left about 25 minutes after I ordered. I placed my order at the counter because the drive-thru was so long and honestly, I should've just waited in the drive-thru line. The dining room was not ideal. The person taking my order was in training and rushed me through the order that I forgot to mention I wanted the large size fries with my combo, not medium. My drink was also not sealed when I took it to my table from the counter. However, when I went for a refill, the mistake was corrected- so kudos, Jacob. When I was dining in taking a small break from my busy day, I saw attendants that walked around as if they were lost. From my observation, there was plenty to do, such as sweep under the tables, clean door handles, clean around the trash can areas, clean the condiment station. Yet, the attendants were quite slow. Not to mention I even spilled my drink and I had to ask for a clean up since no one noticed it. Even if they did, they seemed too shy to ask me if I needed help. There was a lady who looked like a mother telling a dining room attendant that this was thee second time she complained because the tables were dirty when she took her children to that specific Chick-fil-A, so that made me raise a red flag in my mind. Above all this, the quality of the food and drink is always good quality for a fair price. I can also appreciate Chick-fil-A toning down their explicit company philosophy and being more inclusive yet still firm on beliefs. I see there were plenty of new hires. I'm a creature of habit when it comes to what i eat here due to my lack of likeness for chicken i really don't care for it but Chick Fil A has the best chicken nuggets and sandwiches on planet earth. Most frequented fast food choice. Nothing compares. There chick-Fil-a sandwich still tastes as good as it did twenty years ago when I'd stop for lunch during a mall trip. I will day the waffle fry portion seems small so this is the only fast food place I'll pay for a large fry. If you want an option that won't give you heart burn, their salads are also delicious and the lettuce is always fresh. I don't recommend the gluten free bun. It's tough and dry and just not good.
