I came here for one of the charity days. All sales were going to the local Boys and Girls club. We ordered a Baja chicken wrap and a Reuben sub. The Baja chicken wrap, I can't say was impressive. The chicken was like a frozen Tyson chicken breast grilled to edible temp, but it was spicy as promised. The Reuben sub though was impressive! Tasted amazing and meat was so tender. Because of that, the great service (super nice guy working the counter), cool decor and the charitable values I would recommend this place! Two suggestions I would make would be to offer lettuce wraps, I (and my crew) would definitely come here often!!! AND maybe advertise your charities more. Poor rating is attributed to this stores customer service. The employee working was totally disengaged and incredibly slow. Sub seemed to be made as requested, however bread was totally smooshed and when moving our subs to put on the toppings after meat and cheese, they moved all of the old scraps on the board to the lettuce bin instead of the discard bin. The dirty lettuce was then placed on our subs. Gross. read more

This place is a joke! No roast beef and day old bread. No meat the meat was skimpy. Service was horrible. U are better off eating at home.

Let me first start off by saying I love Jersey Mike's! I have been at many different locations and this one is by far the worst. It is completely a management issue at this location. They are always understaffed during major traffic times and every time I visit this location they are always out of something. The staff is always friendly but whomever is managing this place without a doubt should be fired; or if it is the franchise owner corporate needs to step in. I always found Jersey Mike's to be an awesome place to eat till I went to this location several times. read more

Seriously this place was a joke! 1 person working on a Friday night at 5. Kept waiting and waiting. We were the only ones there when we arrived- 9 people (3 families). She got 2 orders out extremely slow and continued to put single people prior. 40 mins later the last family still hadn't gotten food. Couldn't get a refund because the manager wasn't at the store. Bread was hard and not fresh. So disappointed all around. read more

Ordered a roast beef with bacon added lettuce sant and pepper. $14.xx for a very mediocre sub. Definitely NOT worth it. And honestly, Subway is better. Beef was very bland, too much lettuce bacon was good. read more

They only have 1 person working every single time i go here for lunch. It takes at least 30 minutes to get my sub and pay. Please hire more people especially on the weekend at lunch time. read more

My new favorite sub sandwich shop! The bread is super fresh and delicious, and the meats are generous and flavorful. I ordered 2 giant subs (a special is running right now with the second being only $5.00!!), one a beef and provolone, the other a classic Italian. I watched a staff member cut the meat for each one fresh. Apparently they always do that! It really makes a difference in the flavor. Another staff member told me that everything is made on the premises: the bread, the meats, the cookies. Color me impressed! Their roast beef... AWESOME! Everything was so fresh--you could taste it. Their giant subs... Giant. My only complaint is that there was only one person working. It took 18 minutes for me to get my food. Being only the third person in a line of 8, since the first person had a four sandwich order. Being my first time there, I will be back for sure! Worst experience I have ever had at a food service establishment period!! My co-worker and I came in for lunch at 2:45pm in the afternoon, the store was empty. It took 8 minutes before we were greeted by an employee, and that was only the beginning. We had to choose 3, count them 3!, different subs before they actually had the proper ingredients to make it! Fortunately, we got our second choice of bread....if you could even call it that. Then we were onto the toppings. It took the employee 5 minutes to put toppings on two subs, and she did both of them completely wrong, but that's not even the best part! We were told there was an up charge for pickles, jalapeños and the hot spread, you're going to up charge toppings on a $16 sub!!!! After proceeding to the check out, another 5 minute ordeal, and having to remind the employee of the subs and toppings we had we were finally able to sit down (only 21 minutes after we had entered an empty store). The sub, by the way, was the worst tasting sub I'd ever had!!! I will never be entering another Jersey Mike's store again after being a loyal customer for over 5 years!!!! read more

This location has fallen so far. The subs are no longer edible. I used to frequent this location at least 3 times a week but my visit 2 weeks ago will be my last. I only went because I had enough sub points for a free giant sub. I ordered the traditional Italian like I always do. I noticed some of the meats looked discolored and old when the guy was slicing the meat but I did not say anything. I get home and sure enough the meat tasted gross. I smell the meat and its spoiled. Of the 5 types of cold cuts on the sub only the ham was edible. The visit before this, the employee didn't peel the outer plastic on some of the meats so I had to take my sub apart to remove the plastic. The visit before that someone left the plastic on as well. On one visit last summer I asked the person putting my sandwhich together if he had some fresher lettuce. The lettuce he was going to put on my sub was bathing in water and I didnt want a wet sub. He says we always serve wet lettuce. Thats what keeps the sandwhich moist. I said what the f*ck are you talking about. I come here all the time and thats not true. I don't want water logged bred on my sub. Its safe to say I am done with this place. Prices are high, cold cuts are spoiled and oh yeah, any "free topping" not included when you order your sub Mikes Way, now incur a charge. Yup there is now a charge for jalapenos and banana peppers. Nice addition to the west Lansing sandwich shop options. Great tasting bread, fresh ingredients, and friendly enthusiastic employees. I've been looking for a great steak sub for quite a while. There are a few ok ones out there, but Jersey Mike's has a great one. I may be in trouble. read more
