Huge props to Jabari and Grace (with the always gorgeous, fluffy fro), the cashiers, who are consistently personable and polite, making the whole experience even better. Food was good, although. I must say, the service here was one of the most awkward experiences of my life. The cashier at the drive through window asked me and my girlfriend what our favorite Christmas song was, we replied with "white Christmas" and after that the cashier person just awkwardly stares at us and doesn't say a word. 99.9% of the staff are courteous and truly maintain Chick-fil-A's customer service values. Kudos to them for that. Their food is always fresh, and when I go there, I know that the lines will be busy, but they are very good at being as efficient as possible. It's a little expensive, but now it's comparable, and maybe even a better value, than some of the other fast food chains in the area (McD's, etc). read more

We had been regulars at this location for quite some time, getting their food two to three times a week. It started out great...but then the hairs started appearing. First there was a hair in our chicken strips, just laying on top of them. Then, a few trips later, there was a hair on top of our milkshakes. The tipping point was a few weeks back when in TWO separate sandwiches there were little gray hairs COOKED INTO the chicken. We gagged realized we had eaten half of the sandwich before discovering them. In all of the times I've been there, I've never see a single employee wearing a hairnet and most of the food goes through at least three or four people up front before getting to us. Idk if it's just in the general Lansing/east area but I don't get the charm? Each time I have come to either location it's been about the same as getting a mc chicken from nasty McDonald's. Only much more expensive. Fries cold and stale, shakes are ok, same as McDonald's (when they actually work at McDonald's), service is always good but the food and its prices are less then subpar, the sauce is good but you can get knock offs at the store and get frozen chicken that is 100x better, and that's pretty sad. read more

The drive through organization is terrible. I sat in line as the drive through runners passed out food to six cars behind me. My son had half of his food gone as three cars in front of me sat there with their food. The minivan sitting at the window was waiting on his food and instead of asking that person to pull up so the rest of the 9 cars that had their food could leave, they had him sit there and block us all in. I even asked the runner about this and he just shrugged at me.. By the time I did leave the cars were blocked up to the highway. I don't know what genius is running this operation but some simple common sense is needed. I refuse to go back. read more

Since this location opened on October 13th 2016 its been wall to wall people in line and the drive through. Before having the food i have to say that I "didn't get it" I was pleasantly surprised that my wait time from standing out the door till l ordered was less than 20 minutes. All the employees were very polite and the food was great. We got the standard chicken sandwich and the nuggets with a strawberry shake and fries. We went back a 2nd time a few days later but used the app to order our food. THE APP IS THE Way TO GO!!! When you arrive at the restaurant there is a button that says "I am here" and that essentially tells the kitchen to make your food. There is a waiting area for "app orders" and plenty of employees to make sure your taken care of. After walking in it was about 5 minutes to get our food. Great experience. That time we got the spicy chicken sandwich, chicken strips and the regular sandwich again. All the sandwich s have pickles (which we love) and the spicy chicken is no joke They have a wide variety of sauces for dipping si try them all. Now I "get it" read more

Couldn't understand what all the fuss was about when Chick-fil-A opened in West Lansing, but the first time I tried it, I understood. I get a simple fried chicken breast with American cheese on a soft bun, no sauce or anything else, and I'm in absolute heaven! It's perfection..pure and simple. Its the juciest big fat chicken breast you'll ever eat, but real meat, no surprises. And lightly fried in a simple tasty batter, not oily or overpowering. Its bliss, I will and have totally waited in their very long line for that morsel of happiness! The others can all try to duplicate it..but it's not gonna happen. See for yourself read more

Had straw wrapper pieces in my fries and other debris in my chicken tenders. Obviously they aren't interested in this seeing as they never addressed my concerns. Also the salad dressing package was opened that they put in our bag. Disgusting and unexceptionable. Won't be returning here sad as this was my favorite. read more

Rarely do I hand out 5 stars, but this place was phenomenal! The food to the service... Everything was just a pleasant experience. My boyfriend and I came here on their opening day and we weren't expecting anything, just a quick sit and go, but it was a lot more! Although we had to wait in a gruesome line, the wait was worth the food. Their spicy chicken was amazing along with their lemonade.... Milkshake... Basically the entire meal was heavenly. Along with the amazing food, the employees were friendly and even walked around offering to refill drinks (mind that this was happening on opening day when the line was out the door and very hectic!). I love chick fil-a anywhere but this restaurant. Having moved to the Lansing area from S, Illinois, I was so happy to see this familiar restaurant. Happiness turned to disgust. Everything I have gotten from this place is cold and tastes of old grease. They even manage to ruin their famous milkshake. I decided to give the restaurant one more try after staying away about six months. it had gotten worse. Will save my craving for their food until we travel back to Illinois. read more

Yay! Michigan finally has a Chick-fil-A! The service completely blows me away... so many people line up inside & outside... and their sweet, friendly staff keeps it all moving! The food is always good... there's just something wonderful about their chicken (and waffle fries). We like to use their APP to send in our order ahead of time. When we arrive we hit the button to notify them that we're here. Then walk inside to pick up our order. No lines. (This is how we avoid the drive-thru lines.) It's very kid-friendly & even has a small indoor play land. I also admire that they're closed on Sundays. (Several years ago while on vacation in FL, we hosted a large family gathering for a holiday and ordered one of the Chick-fil-A catering platters. It was a hit and SO easy!) read more

I am so utterly ecstatic to have found that they finally expanded chick fil a in more locations in Michigan (hoping that they build more along the Canadian border too *cough*). The food here was as per usual, amazing. Sad to see that like most locations now, you have to ask for the sauce (a handful of locations I visited had the sauce packets available buffet style). The service here was great. When I found that my unsweetened tea was sweetened, the staff worked to figure out the problem and made me a fresh batch. read more

This recent trip was particularly great though; I saw the clock tick to 10:30 before I started to order and I got so sad because I love me some chicken minis. I've been to Chick-fil-A at least 5 times since they opened the W. Saginaw location. I love the spicy chicken sandwiches. The chicken served here is great! The Customer Service is excellent. The chicken can be made in many different ways, somewhat like salads breakfast tacos w/chicken. Their side salads are big for the price you pay for. The wait was not long at all because the good management you allowed people to order off an app. I like the food here. The chicken is very juicy. Normally am okay with this food choice but I don't think I can go back if I keep finding long blond hairs in my food. Been there 4 times in 4 different weeks and got hair in my spicy deluxe on multiple occasions. Would have gone back but what the purpose of going again if I'm just gonna keep getting hair in it. Sorry not a fan. Please wear hair nets or hats that hold back hair. Very unprofessional and very disgusting. Imagine what would happen if inspectors were to get that. :( read more

The drive-thru line was super fast and all workers where nice. The food was very good. It's great if your on a road trip and need something good but fast or if you just want a good fast restaurant. I haven't yet to go into the restaurant because of covid but can't wait.
