Hands-down, one of the best sandwich shops I've visited in a long time. A little mom & pop sandwich shop. Everyone as I was super nice. Reminds me of a jersey Mike's times 10. The restaurant is attached to the gas station. Everything was fresh, the vegetables and the meats. I ordered the Beasty (which was roast beef, turkey, and ham) on a wrap! I also ordered one of the homemade chocolate chip cookies -- amazing! I didn't eat inside the restaurant, I took my food to go however, I had to pull over and eat the wrap because it was so good. read more

Unfortunately, we forget about this place a lot of times because it's out by the highway. But the subs are great. The service is always good. We ordered ahead of time and picked the order up a few hours later. It was ready and waiting for us. This gave us separate containers for the oil and vinegar as we had asked because we weren't going to eat them until later. I love all the military and US Marine paraphernalia up on the walls inside the store. Nice tribute to our military and Veterans. read more

Attached to a gas station, but separated with doors. We got a turkey and cheese sub. The bread was very fresh. The sandwich was very plane without much flavor. Never had such a plain sandwich be so bland. I would eat here again, but try something different. read more

I went in to grab a snack for my ride back to Ypsi. It was the afternoon and I had not had anything to eat as of yet. I went in to grab a snack and lo and behold there was The Giant. It is attached to the other side of the gas station. There were a few people in the line but it moved fast. There is also a menu with all the listed items. There is the giant sub and the regular sized. The giant is huge. I decided on the regular sized Italian sub. They put onions, lettuce, hot peppers and oil and vinegar. The sub was great! i am use to East coast subs which have a connection with great bread or hoagies with fresh meat and lettuce. I can actually say that this definitely comes close. The bread is great and the lettuce and meat are also fresh. I would definitely visit here again if I am in the area. Maybe they will bring one my way one day. read more

This is my favorite sub ship in Michigan. The sub meats and cheeses are cut fresh to order and the portions are enormous. Also this particular store has a fun and personal vibe. Hello Yum! Jersey Giant is a greater Lansing staple. The one located in Frandor off of 127 is the original, and I have to say the best but this location in Williamston sure hit the spot when I was on a hurry to make it up north of the weekend. I always order the Jersey Giant straight up (with everything on it including the oil an vinegar and spices). The boss is another good sandwich. What makes the favor is the sweetness of the sub bread. I went to Michigan State University for 4 years and maybe had Jersey Giant once or twice. I don't think I appreciated it fully until now. We swing through her for business meetings from time to time and we always stop at here and Woody's for our fix. The selection of meats really make for an exquisite sandwich. It is all cut right in front of you and offers some great variety that you don't see in other sandwich shops. Example: Capicola you never see this at chain delis. Hop in and grab a sandwich. I am from out of town and was craving Subway on my ride home. I was in need of gas and seen the sign for this location on the highway, as well as, right near the gas station I filled up at. From start to finish I would rate this location better than any Subway I have ever been to. I seen the ladies working wash their hands and then put gloves on. They recommended a #8 which was an italian.. so i took their recommendation. There can't be enough said about freshness. The bread that I had was BEYOND soft. The vegetables were still crunchy and not mushy. I had absolutely 0 complaints about this experience, and if I am in the area again. I will be back. read more

Unreal. Simply the best sub sandwich money can buy. I traveled to Grand Rapids today from Novi today and bought one, and bought another on my way back. Get the "Jersey Giant" with everything on it, and add hot peppers. It'll cost you around 10 bucks, and is damn near 20 inches long. There is no better sub in Michigan than Jersey Giant. And this location, being in a gas station, is clean, friendly, and serves better subs than what you will find from their locations in the MSU area. They cut the meat and cheese fresh for you when you order it. If there's a line, you're going to wait. Deal with it. It's worth every second you wait. They're friendly as can be, too. They know many of us are passing through, and ask about where we are from, and what brings us back. Friendly people make this experience even better. I'm full and happy right now. And, it's been 9 hours since I ate the entire sub. And I have another sub for lunch tomorrow! Score! Simply the best. I'd give it 10 stars if I could, and it's worth driving here from Novi just for lunch. read more

This place is Jimmy John's on steroids! The subs are very similar to Jimmy John's, however they are four times the size. Great value for your money. If your looking for something to grab for a picnic this is the place. read more

Booooo....this is not the same as the original. It is "sandwiched" in a gas station - no pun intended! This place royally sux. I felt like I was at a dirty blimpie sub shop. Subs are $8 and up and do not come close to tasting like the original off of grand river in Lansing. BTW, their dinng eat in area is also a joke. Felt like I was at a POOR mans tailgate. read more

Drove there on Sunday Dec. 6 2020, 1:00 pm. As i do many Sundays to get lunch for a few family members.. Only to find it dark and closed!. Sign on window said, Now closed on Sundays till spring!. Even their website says open as usual!. 20 mile trip for nothing, Thanks for nothing guy's!. Oh, Another lady pulled up at the same time right next to me wondering the same thing!.. Looks like a lot of lost sales!.. Note.. To other customers, Don't eat here on Mondays, Thursdays or be the first customers in the morning on other days!. The owner makes sure you get the nasty 1-2-or 3 day old bread first!. Iv'e gotten a few old ones in the past and were yucky!!. Last time i was there i noticed the bread in racks that were sitting on the floor in direct sunlight right next to the south window, And it was swetting heavy moisture droplets inside the plastic bags!. Not Good!. After saying this and thinking as i'm writting, I won't be going back!. And will tell all my friends and neighbors!!. Maybe even the Ingham co. health dept. read more

Having not visited in a while, I was shocked at the prices for what was once the grail of a Jersey style sub, first started in E. Lansing in the 70's. Over $10 for a sub + $1.00 more for hot pepper relish. Preposterous! Anyway, I ordered The Boss without pepperoni. The guy said he would substitute an extra meat choice. I chose prosittini. Big mistake! They now must have a new meat supplier, because the meat on this sub was bad. The prosittini was tough and chewy. All the other meats, non-spiced capacolla (what a sorry excuse), ham and salami all tasted the same and the bun was pillow soft and thick with no chew. Bring back the original Jersey Giant PLEASE! This is the second time I've made a catering order at a Jersey Giant. Both times I walked in to pick it up at scheduled time and they "lost track of time" and I was late to my event. I suggest doing any large orders elsewhere. Single sandwiches are fine but this company is not reliable whatsoever. read more
