They let you order your meal mixing fried and roasted pieces so I did. I also have tried the campero beans and cole slaw as side dishes. Prices are very reasonable. A 3 piece chicken meal with one side dish with self serve drink and tax runs about $13. Two piece meals are less of course. The chicken here tastes very good. As long as it is hot, the roasted version is seasoned and very juicy. The fried version had a nice seasoned crust and was also juicy inside. I think I liked the fried a little better but would be ok with either. Their sides are even better. My order of campero beans were hot and very flavorful. The cole slaw was cool and creamy with a rich taste. Those two were quality side dishes. This is the only outpost of Pollo Campero that I have visited. It remains to be seen if the other locations are consistent with this one. I have found that Golden Chick disappoints more than it succeeds. As of now, Pollo Campero is my fave of this type of restaurant.

I order to dine in and everything came in separate plastic containers that were rewrapped with saran-wrap. The flautas were over cooked and extremely dry so I just gave up and threw it all away. Also to regulate the soda fountain they give you ice at the counter and disconnected the ice at the drink dispenser. I have no idea how this place can remain in business. No major complaints tbh except today 06/20/2026 ... I stopped by to pick up an online order for one of my daughters. Well she requested that I ask if they can change her wrap to crispy instead of grilled. Omgoodness, the kind young lady in the driveway was cool with the change & no problem but the lady at the window made it all complicated which gave me ANXIETY because I felt like I was holding up the drive thru line & then they forgot the Avocado ranch sauce, I also had to ask for a fork & the window associate informed me that both items were in the bag with a slight attitude in her voice! Needless to say, I had already driven away before noticing the missing sauce. It's constantly raining today & I had to pick up another order & get it home to my daughters plus had perishable items from Kroger that needed to be taken in & refrigerated ect. So I called the number on the top of the receipt ( their automated voicemail is too cute btw) it says God Bless you at the end before you make a choice. The team leader named "Angel" had exemplary Customer service skills! I was a bit heated & talking fast but he patiently listened to my whole replay of the situation... he apologized & asked for the 4 numbers from the order bag receipt. He said I could come back for the sauce but I'm not because we are all human & human error occur at times so I'm too embarrassed to go back for a pack of sauce but he surprised me by offering to refund the order since I perceived the window server to be rude ect. So shout out to Angel for quickly resolving my issue which was a mixture of miscommunication, & who knows what else. Woosahhhh... but I'm a Happy Customer at the end of the day.:-)
