I am a big fan of Jersey Mike's, but this was the first time that we stopped in at the Fallbrook location. I expected the same great customer service as is common at most all locations I've been to. I ordered a giant #43, Chipotle Philly Cheesesteak. I asked that it be cut into thirds to make it easier for sharing. I was told by the guy helping me (who may have been the manager) that he couldn't have it cut into thirds, only in half or in fourths! I said "why can't I get it cut into thirds"? I got a lame excuse back that because of the way the meat is packaged, it comes in halves and therefore the sandwich wouldn't come out right if it were cut into thirds. I said, that's ridiculous, while it's cooking, the meat and peppers are all chopped up and then placed on the bread. Cutting the sandwich into thirds has nothing to do with it and wouldn't change the sandwich whatsoever. Crazy, as we continued to discuss. He finally relented and said he could have it cut into fourths. Why is that? Ridiculous, but I agreed. When I finally received my sandwich and unwrapped it, it was only cut in half. So, I went back to the counter and requested the cashier to put another cut in one half. He was irritated and flustered and proceeded to knock over an entire stack of cups as he cut it. The meat was fine and tasted great, but the bread was cold. Every Jersey Mike's that I've been to warms the bread on the cooking surface for a hot sandwich. Anyway, this Jersey Mike's location seems to think that they must only cut a sandwich into halves or possibly fourths. They act like there is a rule book that dictates this and can't listen to a simple customer request. Management needs to look at the customer service training at this location. read more

Don't go!!!!! It's awful. Service is terrible, their employees look filthy and one was sitting on the counter by the sofa machine while he was waiting for his food. I called him on it and he said he was off duty, as did the girl I can only assume was the manager? I said you guys seem a little unruly and not completely trained. The response was "thank you" They didn't even get the order right but the music was so loud and the kid that was off duty was so busy swinging his apron around while dancing and singing it's no wonder. I would even bother using the coupons they sent out as a ploy to suck people in. I hope the people that go that know that not all of their stores are like this. Stay away from the Fallbrook one though. Unless you want the kid who was itching his face the entire time to make your food. Funny, they have all their employees doing their reviews. I went in on Thursday 8/16/18 during lunchtime with my mom and my three kids. My mom has to eat gluten free and I have some funky food restrictions of my own. Add that to three kids who all have their own ideas of what's edible, and it can get a little complicated, right? The first thing that I noticed was that the staff were all really courteous and professional. The manager (whose name I did not catch) was taking orders that day. He was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to tell my mom what he could make gluten free and what he couldn't (chicken parm & meatballs are prepared with breadcrumbs). I love it when a chef or manager KNOWS whats in the food because then I can be confident about eating what I've ordered. There's nothing more frustrating than a server or cashier or chef whose answer is "I don't know." That's when I go somewhere else to eat. Safe to say none of us ordered anything "as is" right off then menu - everything was customized. The next person on the line double checked with me about one of my kids' orders - because kids can be picky, right? And she wanted to get it right. And she did. They all did. Everything we ordered was done right, exactly as we asked. No fuss! No stress! And it tasted great! The manager even brought me a couple small cups of honey mustard from behind the counter to use as dressing. And not to be ignored, the cashier was great too. He was smiling and pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was clean and well kept and the music wasn't too loud, we were able to find a parking spot right up front, and the restroom was well stocked and in good condition too. I was in the area and thought what the hell, I'll give it a shot. Should've known better. Had to repeat my order 4 times, the kid at the register couldn't even ring up my order, then they have the balls to ask for a tip?p Ordered a regular Italian sandwich. Had it made "Mikes way" Driest sand which I have ever eaten. Took 3 refills on my drink to choke down half of it. Didn't even eat the other half, it was so bad. Next time I will quit being lazy and just drive to the other end of town. Dominick's has been in town decades and makes a much better sandwich for the same or less money. read more

We used our free sub coupons tonight. We were greeted by a big hello when we arrived. It was super busy but they were very fast rolling out those subs. Music was a little loud, combined with all of the people it made it difficult for a few folks to hear the kids behind the counter. I ordered a 56, philly cheese. It took some time for them to actually start cooking it. I don't think they had anyone actually in charge of the grill. It was well worth the wait. It was awesome! The meat was tender and no fatty pieces. The regular was filling, packed with steak. The bread tasted and smelled fresh. One thing my husband pointed out was the TV show was not appropriate for kids. read more

Girl with the Long blonde ponytail has a dumb attitude that she needs to leave at home. Called a phone order 30 minutes in advance, showed up to pick it up. Woman tells me they didn't receive any phone orders and reiterated that they didn't get any phone orders. Once again, telling me they didn't receive any phone orders. I ask someone else, and she grabs my ready-to-go sandwich and rings me out right away. Instead of sticking to your guns that you didn't receive any orders, how about ask your coworkers to see if maybe you DID receive a phone order. read more

Poor customer service. Twice now the employees were more interested in making call in orders than taking care of the people who are waiting to order. We waited 15 minutes and no one acknowledged our existence. There were a minimum of 6 employees. There were 7 customers. 2 standing off to the side waiting for their orders. One who was cashing out. One guy they took his order. He wanders off to pick out a soda. He was gone for about 3 minutes. When he came back they had to ask him his order again. One employee the slicer was the only one actually working. The other 3 guys behind the counter just kept walking around and running into each other! The slicer was busy making call in orders obviously. We entered the store at about 11:30. At 11:45 we left without anyone ever speaking to us. They need to invest in another slicer to make call in orders and take care of those of us who spend our time coming in to the store. I love Jersey Mikes Sandwiches I just won't visit here again. They have also closed early when it says they are open till 9. read more

Beware of the filthy meat slicer. I wanted a sub but after looking at the crusty meat from the day's sandwiches I really was grossed out. Just think of the bacteria on that machine. Just went to this jersey mikes because my sister had just had a baby and needed food. Systems were down so they were only accepting cash, as soon as I walked in the door I was given attitude by a young guy. They didn't close for about 40 minutes so it's not like I was making it hard on him. He gave me attitude the whole day time that I was or don't sandwiches I asked for lettuce on the side and on one of the sandwiches and he only had enough to put on the sandwich and he said I would have to wait so he could slice more and I said okay I can wait and he stormed off slamming down the slicer as he started slicing lettuce. Almost forgot the avocado and bacon on a sandwich. I was mistaken and thought I had 40 when I only had 30, and my total came out to about $35. So I said to just forget one and he was like I guess. And had full attitude saying I asked you if you had cash in the beginning and I apologized. That's the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. I have always been pleased with the Fallbrook location. I order auns there for my center a few times a year and usually it is a hreat experience. On June 28, 2019 i orderd a box of sandwiches and a a dozen cookies. I ordered with my account I picked up our order and paid and everything seemed fine. I looked at my bank account on July 2 and I had been billed 90.63 dollars twice. I emailed the customer service on the account I have been in twice to resolve the situation and still have not been refunded for my double billing. I understand it is under new ownership now but it should still be resolved. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. The employee did not want to help us. I went there today with my sister and brother in law. My brother in law ordered first. The employee listed 3 types of bread to choose from, He chose the Rosemary for a 7in sandwich. My sister was next she asked for a hot sandwich, the employee rolled her eyes and told her that she would have to wait until she made everyone else sandwich was made before she could make hers because it is hot and would take longer to make. My sister said she would take another look at the menu and let me order. I asked her for a 4in tuna sandwich, she only offered me white and wheat bread, I then asked her if I couldn't get the tuna on the Rosemary bread. Her response was "yeah.. But it's harder for me" she continued with an attitude. Another lady came out and finished up our sandwiches. My sister decided not to get anything at all because the employee clearly did not want to help us and it was hard for her to cut a 7in piece of bread in to a 4in piece of bread or take a second to toast a sandwich. After we left I called and asked for a manager. The second lady that came out to help said she was a manager. When I asked for the other employees name she refused to tell me and began to make excuses for why she was rude. One of the excuses was that they were understaffed. There was only one man behind us. We talked to him before ordering and offered to let him go first, he told us that he didn't know what he wanted and was in no rush. Other then that there was no one else in the store. Neither of the girls had a visible name tag so I am unable to provide any names. I will not be returning to Jersey Mikes again and would not recommend this location to a friend. read more
