I got the Beyond burger and let me tell you... IT WAS HUGE! So fresh with all the toppings and be prepared it takes a while to make but worth every minute of wait (to the point I thought mine wasn't being made LOL). I got mine with onion rings and let me say i can't wait to get those again! I also added the dipping sauce to try since why not?! My family got the BLT, steak && cheese sub, and shrimp basket. Everyone CRUSHED! They don't skimp on the fries w each meal either. You are going to be full. Cute 'I Love Lucy' themed spot with the can in the parking lot. I wish i could special request tuna because i know it'd be amazing! THANK YOU NYID

Another 5 star review. These sandwiches are massive. They come in 11 in and 7 in. They are packed…read moreto the BRIM. Everything has the most intense flavor. The Castellano had a crisped pile of gorgeous beef, with crispy fries, and super fresh veggies (basically a cheeseburger on a sub). My husband ordered this one, so I didn't taste it personally but he absolutely LOVED it. The Thommy, The Three Fingers is a chopped cheese. It's, by god, the best I've ever had in my life. I add peppers, provolone and mayo and an extra side of tzatziki (labeled garlic cucumber on the menu), and oil and vinegar (which tastes like Italian dressing, but who's counting?). The bread is phenomenal. I may literally just order a sub roll with no ingredients one day, just so I can eat it toasted with butter, with every meal I have. It's soft and fluffy, crispy and chewy all at the same time. (It almost gives bagel, but not tough). I also got the y cheesecake. Not as special, perhaps from the Cysco truck (iykyk), but I still bought it and scarfed it down. Strawberry topping was def the average canned-strawberry topping (but I personally love that). I cannot stress, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! As for service, the entire team is so friendly and helpful. They kid around, make silly jokes and make sure your order is prepared fresh and fast. It isn't "fast food fast", but also doesn't taste like shit either, so the wait is worth it. At most 10-15 min if you don't call ahead. As for seating, in winter there are only two two-tops so seating is extremely limited. It is mostly a deli-and-get-outta-here kind of place, but nonetheless welcoming and charming. They have tons of Italian memorabilia all over the walls including giant GodFather posters, taxi plates and more. Today was my first time inside, but I've had my husband go pick up food several times on the way home. I cannot live without one of these subs AT MINIMUM once a month.

Overall, I thought the service was pretty friendly and the restaurant/diner was clean with plenty of seating. DePaoloa seems like a popular place for the locals because the team seemed to know everyone's name and their orders. For my breakfast/brunch, I (as recommended) went with a bacon, egg, cheese on a sun-dried tomato bagel. While the bacon, egg and cheese portion was pretty tasty with a generous portion of bacon and egg, I did not really taste the sun-dried tomato flavor in the bagel. The bagel itself was fine, but I was expecting a bit more of a tomato "kick". I thought the prices were fine because my sandwich, two iced coffees, and tip was about $20. Since we are planning to visit Matapeak Beach a few more times this summer, we hope to stop by again and try more of their bagels.

Visited this cute bagel shop in Kent Island when we were in the area for a wedding at the end of…read moreApril. The shop is located in a strip of several businesses, and has convenient parking right in front. A few of us came to order to-go items for our larger group of about 11 individuals. The menu has a wide selection of items, and a ton of different bagel options. Being that we never had been here before, it took awhile to look over the menu and figure out what we all wanted. The staff was friendly, answered all of our questions, and gave some great product suggestions. Our food came out quick, especially for the volume of the order. The prices of the bagels were fair, and the other items on the menu were average. I am not from this area, so it is hard to say if they were high, but I did not think they were anything egregious. I personally had a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese on a French Toast Bagel. It was very good! Also got to enjoy a Large Cold Brew that was a great size. At the recommendation of the employee who took my order, I got a Rosemary Olive Oil Bagel to try. I never had a bagel quite like it, and I enjoyed it! Lastly, got a small container of the Jalapeño Cheddar Cream Cheese for the group to share. It was fresh and the inclusions really added to the spread. I would recommend this spot for a quick breakfast, or even a coffee date. There is a lot of seating, options, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

So far I've tried the California Powerhouse and the Turkey Club, and both were stacked with fresh ingredients. The portions are solid, and you can tell they're not skimping on anything. The Powerhouse came on a Kaiser roll and the club on white bread, and both held up really well. I've gotten fries on the side each time. They're cooked well, but they come out unsalted and a little bland on their own. That said, once you add some ketchup, they're perfectly fine and do the job. Service has been quick both times I went. I stopped by around 11:30 during the week (Thursday and Friday), and there was no line either time. From ordering to getting my food was about 5 minutes total, so it's definitely a solid option for a quick lunch. The shop itself is very clean and welcoming, and the staff has been friendly and helpful on both visits. Ordering is simple, though I did notice some of the same sandwich names listed in different sections with different prices, which was a little confusing. I meant to ask about it but forgot. They have a wide selection of deli-style sandwiches (hot and cold), plus cheesesteaks and burgers, which I haven't tried yet. For a sandwich, fries, and a drink, it's been a little over $18, but with the portion sizes and quality, I think it's worth it. I'll definitely be back. I'm especially interested in trying their breakfast since this area doesn't have a lot of strong breakfast spots, so I'm curious to see how they compare.
