Nice little coffee shop with a selection of baked goods and some sandwich offerings. Overall the place is neat and clean, although some of the furnishings are a bit worn looking. I was greeted promptly on entry and had nice brief chat with cashier. I ordered a Chai Tea and an Espresso-Toffee-Chocolate Chip Cookie. The beverage was pretty good and the cookie was excellent. There was an interesting set of items for sale in the dining area, which included Mystery Reads. These were books wrapped nicely with the genre on the wrapping, and some neat little "gifts" in the wrapping. Cool idea! The only downside of my experience was the number of flies. I had planned to stay and enjoy my Chai but I just couldn't due to the flies landing on me and my beverage cup. I'd recommend they do something to control flies as it's not conducive to a great guest experience.

A dark muffin with ginger was great to dunk in my well made hot Matcha tea with oat milk. Great retro ambiance. Child friendly, tiny group or just me with a lap top friendly. Unique inexpensive items for sale. Such as Blind Date with a Book already splendidly packaged as a gift. Staff and Baker were so helpful and shared infomation to answer my questions. Be sure to enjoy and take a selfie under the gorgeous mural on their outside redbrick wall.

A quick search pointed me toward Ruby's Cake Shoppe & Pastries, and after seeing it was one of the highest-rated bakeries in town, I figured the Universe had spoken. Off I went. Ruby's sits quietly in a little strip mall that would be easy to drive right past if you weren't specifically looking for it. Fortunately, I was looking for it because a day with a cupcake is almost always better than a day without one. When I walked inside, I had the bakery all to myself. As an overthinker who's capable of spending way too long deciding between desserts, this was tremendous news. Nobody behind me. No pressure. Just me staring lovingly into the bakery cases trying to convince myself I had enough self-control to leave with only one cupcake. Spoiler alert...I did not. Being the peanut butter enthusiast that I am, the Peanut Butter Banana cupcake immediately caught my eye. Banana and peanut butter is one of life's greatest combinations and this cupcake absolutely proved my point! The cupcake reminded me of a wonderfully moist slice of banana bread while the frosting was thick, rich and unapologetically peanut buttery. This thing was GOOD! Then Ruby herself came out to check on me. How cool is that?! We chatted for a few minutes and she told me her favorite cupcake is the Hummingbird. In fact, she laughed and admitted she usually eats three every time she makes them. Three?! Challenge accepted! Just kidding. Mostly. Naturally, I had to see what all the hype was about. And Ruby wasn't lying. The Hummingbird cupcake completely stole the show! It was incredibly sweet without being over the top, and the pineapple running through the cake made every bite bright and interesting. The cream cheese frosting was wonderfully sweet and paired perfectly with the cake. I honestly couldn't stop smiling while I ate it. At $3.75 each, both cupcakes felt like an absolute bargain. Ruby's also specializes in custom cakes for birthdays, weddings and celebrations, and after tasting these cupcakes, I can only imagine how incredible those cakes must be. Parking was plentiful right outside the shop, and while there are a few small tables inside if you'd like to enjoy your treats there, it seemed like most people were stopping in to grab dessert and head on their way. My advice? Don't just stop because you happen to be driving by. Make Ruby's the destination. I know I will! Anytime I'm within striking distance of Easton, there's an excellent chance you'll find me standing in front of the cupcake case once again pretending I'm only buying one.

He was sad they didn't have a lid as we were just passing through town. The pastries looked fantastic. I didn't try them, but my kids did and LOVED them. They favors were unique and looks like it rotates based on the week or day. The options were all different than what I had seen on other yelp pictures. They also had 2 tables outside that were fun to sit and enjoy the heart of Easton, but there was no seating inside and no public bathroom. This is a walk by coffee stop.

The best one was the chocolate raspberry ( a little heavy on the gelatin for the raspberry glaze). The 2nd best was the Black Forest; 3 and 4th is tough...I would have to pick the red velvet ( even though it was a bit off and maybe a day older) and the runner up was the German chocolate cake, a little heavy on coconut and I didn't taste any pecans.
