Foul and disgusting! I can only imagine how many people got food poisoning on this day. Visited this Eastgate store Saturday 2/21 at lunch time so it was rather busy. After order our 2 sandwiches it was time for the add ons. That is when we walked out of the store. The lettuce being served was mostly brown and to make it worse, the mayonnaise was congealed around the sides of its container. This is not the kind of congealing that occurs quickly, this was thick on the edges and darker tan than you would ever want to see. It would not have surprised me if it was like that for a day or 2 solidifying, and just refilled without cleaning. So, how was the sandwich you may ask? We immediately walked out and never would I go back. Disgusting! We love Jersey Mikes and I have happily reviewed others. When I brought the order home all 4 sandwiches were made wrong according to the instructions provided. I went back to have them remade and explained what was wrong with each sandwich. The store employees chose to argue what was right and wrong with the sandwiches. I was about to demand a refund when they finally remade the sandwiches. The bag was practically thrown at me and not once was an apology given. When my family opened their sandwiches we found them made poorly (extra mustard running out of sandwiches- so much they were inedible) and one sandwich missing bacon that we paid extra for. We will not be eating at this location again- the Anderson location is MUCH better at customer service! read more

The friendliness of the employees is just what I needed after a lot of work track and a week's worth of indifferent customer service.m My hot veggie sub was absolutely loaded with grilled veggies and melted cheese and topped with fresh veggies. The grilled mushrooms were especially tasty. This place is super bright and clean. My food was served quickly, not as quickly as fast food but this is REAL food, not microwaved or sitting-under-a-warmer food. Back in 2017 about an hour before closing, I decided to try Jersey Mike's for the first time. I had just finished shopping at Kroger's next door. And I walked into this location. I approached the counter and looked their menu. Almost immediately after I approached the counter, a counter employee stated they had no bread. I didn't receive receive a "Hello" or "Welcome to Jersey Mike's". Nothing. I rally wanted to try a sandwich but it was not to be. Had they greeted me and then provided me with the fact they they were out of bread, I would have understand and returned another day. I would have been excited yo return since, clearly, the sandwiches were in high demand. But, no. As a result, I have never walked into another Jersey Mike's. And I take every opportunity to share this story. You lost a customer even before I was customer. I truly hope things have changed at this location. read more

I shop at the Kroger next door all the time and never stopped in until I saw the commercials for a special event they were hosting, where all proceeds from purchases that day went to charity! I accidentally ordered to pick up from the Eastgate location at 12:15 today. Went to Milford and realized my mistake. Called Eastgate and told the girl I had made a mistake and wouldn't be able to pick up my order they already made. She was very friendly and refunded my money on my card which was unexpected and really nice since I messed up. I have been quite a few times. The evening hours seem better because my order isn't wrong. During the day my sub has been messed up more than once and I just dont have time for that on my lunch break. When I go after work around 6pm to 7pm, I havent had any issues and I am in and out of the store quicker. The parking lot can be messy from people ditching old drinking cups and the like but I dont attribute that too much to a store issue because the owner of the retail complex could put a trash bin in the parking lot. The clear winner between Firehouse, Subway, Jimmy Johns and Jersey's is deff Jersey Mikes. More bang for my hard earned buck read more

After placing my order online under ASAP it had came up to take 50 minutes. I called and asked if there was a way to have my sandwich ready any earlier. The guy who answered the phone Brandon who referred to himself as the manager told me no and ended the call. A coworker had swung by to see if my sandwich was ready as Brandon then turned her away. I called for the second time and Brandon answered again with "Its her again calling" I asked for a refund and he replied with "No you can call back in a hour" and hung up. I then got in my car leaving work to go over and ask to speak with the manager. Brandon approached me asking what was the problem as soon as I went to ask for my refund and explain the issue he decided to start yelling asking did I want him to pull my sandwich out of his ass. He proceeded to yell as I explained it was his job he then decided to call me a fucking bitch. I asked Brandon what he had mumbled under his breathe since he is such a big man he then bucked up at me and started cussing in Spanish. Eventually another girl short, heavier set with brown hair stepped in telling him to stop. I asked for my refund and he told me no he would do it later I said no I needed it now as he then told me to wait. He proceeded to yell and cuss me out calling me names. Eventually another employee stepped in returning my money and I left. I could not find a customer service number so I called the beechmont location and spoke to Chris, he was very understanding and apologetic he offered to take my number and try to find the owner of the Eastgate location to get ahold of me as well as sending in this review. Chris was amazing and I am very impressed. Unfortunately due to Brandon I will never return to Jersey Mikes in Eastgate and it looks extremely bad on this company. Only one of these I have been to so I can not say how it compares to most, but it is very similar to subway or jimmy johns. Food is always great. The food is great, the inside is clean and the service is quick and friendly. I think people are so jaded by fast food service that they expect to be in and out on seconds. This is a walk-in restaurant where your food is made AFTER you order. They have been open less than two months, I think they are doing great on speedy service thus far. Everything I have eaten from this location has been quite tasty, better than other sub chains by far and unlike Subway, I can actually see the meat on my sub without cracking open the bun. I can actually taste the meat on my sub instead of getting bites that taste only of bread. They have a wide variety of options for subs, chips and dessert items, which is always nice to mix things up a bit. I haven't had any bad experiences or meals yet and I eat here frequently. So, this is a glowing review from a frequent customer that understands, if you want fast fold go there. If you want a stupendous sub, come to this Jersey Mikes, the subs are phenomenal (my faves are the meatball, the italian, the rueben, and chicken cheesesteak and big kahuna...yum). read more

The cheesesteak had a small amount of dried out meat, a couple strands of onion and a tablespoon or so of mushrooms. The bun was dried out and tasteless. After my terrible experience, the owner of the store contacted me to discuss the trouble I had. He apologized and encouraged us to come back and try again. I decided to give it a go on 12/4 and had a completely different experience. The staff was unbelievably friendly this time around and only 1 person completed our order, vs last time where 3 people went through our food. Our food was great also. My husband got the chipotle philly cheese and raved about it the whole way through. I'm glad that we decided to try again because it was worth the nerves to come back through. read more
