The first time I had Jersey Mike's subs was about a month and a half ago when our corporate office brought in Jersey Mike's for lunch, it was amazing! I could definitely do without the rosemary salt stuff on the sandwich, though. I've been wanting to go grab a sandwich for lunch a few times just don't get over that direction. This weekend I decided I was going to drive 20 miles to go have Jersey Mikes Sub for lunch. I walked in, the atmosphere is OK, it's not nothing fancy, but your greeted and service is fast and friendly. The ingredients on the sandwich is fresh. It's chilled. It's amazing! I absolutely love the oil and vinegar. I actually asked for them to put extra on for me. I had them keep off the rosemary salt sprinkle. This has now become my favorite place for sub sandwiches, hands down! read more

I love East Coast style cold deli submarine sandwiches. Jersey Mike's makes them: Fresh bread rolls, oil & vinegar, salt and pepper. That's "Mike's Way". And my roast beef & provolone sub was made that way, with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickled jalapeno peppers. For some added flavor I picked the Parmesan Rosemary White roll. But when I took the first bite, it was one of the blandest subs that I have ever tasted. So I tried the rare roast beef alone (which looked fantastic), and I discovered that it had no seasoning. While I appreciate the lack of sodium saturated meat, you can take the cause too far. Fortunately I was taking this sub home, so I added some more potassium salt, fresh ground black pepper, and Chipotle aioli sauce to save the sandwich. With that added flavor it was tasty, but the aioli disqualified it as a true East Coast sub. The service was good (Nina is amazing) but the sandwich was pretty disappointing. read more

I do recommend this place, food was great. unfortunately the service at my location wasn't exactly great. they were in a rush, which is typically fine it was lunch time. my mom and i were getting a sub to share, we wanted a club supreme, so we told the lady that and said please. she was making our sandwich and my mom was asking hey is this ours? because it wasnt ours (it was she misunderstood us) , it was a #8 which is fine it was a mistake, but when we told her thats not what we wanted she got visibly angry, and told us to tell her beforehand next time. I want to exaggerate this, my mom tried to ask if that was ours so she could correct it, but the lady just got more angry. We didnt get a name, but the employees were rushing and not being very kind in the meanwhile. it was just pretty loud for a little, i doubt its always like that though. My husband loves this new sandwich shop in Caldwell. They cut all the meat and cheeses right when they are making your sandwich. We had a coupon which made the $10/sandwich a little more affordable. They have white, wheat, sourdough, and Parmesan rosemary bread options. They also have Philly cheesesteak which looked interesting. The food was good- kind of a crunchy on the outside roll and a good amount of meat. They crew was a little rough around the edges- they didn't seem like a well oiled machine but I'm giving them slack since they've recently opened. Between cutting the meat and checking out there were 3-4 different people involved in the process which just seemed clunky and inefficient. We will definitely be trying them again, especially if we get another coupon! read more

Well, I wrote a review about a month ago about this location to which Jersey Mike's replied and stated that the shared my concerns with management and to give them another try. Ok. I did. Today. And that will officially be the last time I go there until they really figure it out. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the sandwiches but my family likes them. So they will have to go on their own if they want it. Anyway, today was a repeat of the same problems I had before, but worse. This time, the same lady who helped me before was back to cutting the meat, which really she shouldn't be doing. Her main job should be picking the music. Because not only was it blaring in there again (I'm talking like night club, have to scream over each other loud), she literally stopped cutting the meat for my sandwich so she could pick a new song. And not just like real quick. She walked away, stood back, scrolled through her phone with her gloves on, eventually called another employee over to come help her look and then eventually three of them gathered in a circle to find "her song". When they found it, they broke out on a dance, which is great, but it would've been better if they could've boot scoot boogied my sandwich to me at the same time. Once she finally cut the meat for the first one, she started working on the next person's and I could not believe when she turned halfway away from the meat and sneezed into her wrist, never once changing her gloves. Absolutely disgusting. The only thing that saved me from losing my mind was the cashier who was friendly and I think uncomfortable by this woman's actions because as she was in the middle of making a sandwich, the room suddenly went silent (which was a welcome relief from the super loud music), but when I looked over...it went silent because she answered a phone call on her personal cell (which was also controlling the music) and was talking on the phone ignoring her customer. Maybe customer service and not sneezing on your gloves is only important to me, but I'm not going back and if I'm forced to.. and she's there, I'm walking out because I'm not going to keep paying for an over priced sandwich to be met with that. We've been in town since May and we're excited to see this new Jersey Mike's location opening. I came by on opening day, but it was so busy I couldn't wait. I ordered online the next day and was pleased to have our food ready 18 minutes after ordering--even though they seemed as busy as opening day. I ordered one of my usuals, the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. It tasted great and the rosemary Parmesan must have come right out of the oven since it was so fresh. Definitely a great start for this new location. Hopefully they continue this quality after their big opening. read more

We have enjoyed JM subs in other cities and were delighted when a new one opened up in Caldwell. The sandwiches, unique to JM, are prepared from scratch before your eyes and are of consistent excellent quality. The past few visits, we have noticed a young woman who puts the veggies etc. on the sandwiches has an acrylic septum piercing that looks an awful like like a drop of nose water ready to drip on your sandwich. It would enhance the lunch experience if she just changed the piercing to a metalic one or took it out altogether. We continue to be loyal customers of JM and regularly recommend it to our friends. read more

honest to god one of the worst places you can eat in Caldwell. I tried ordering an hour ahead and they said that the sandwiches were ready an hour late and when I went to go and get my order I waited another hour because they didn't prioritize my order. all of my hot sandwiches were bone cold when I finnally got them and the cold sandwiches had gone soggy. not the most pleasant experience but it has happened so many times now it's ridiculous. read more

First off, the employees need more training. When there are 10 people in line and you can see they have no sense of urgency at all it's a problem. Secondly, I have been to several other locations in the Treasure Valley area and the sandwiches are much fuller. These sandwich makers are not putting as much meat on the sandwiches as the other locations. I have quit going to this location altogether because of poor service. Dissapointed because I was so happy to see one go up closer to us. Sorry to say, but this location needs some management attention for sure. read more
