This particular Jersey Mike's was an overall positive experience and I was able to get my sub and be on my way. My two go-to subs are either the Italian sub when I want a cold sub and when I want a hot sub, I go with the Big Kahuna cheesesteak. On this particular visit, I went with the Big Kahuna and it was a great lunch. I had them add lettuce. When I lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, they had a popular sub called a cheesesteak hoagie, which is basically a cheesesteak meets a sub (or as they call it,a hoagie). I am not a fan of tomatoes or having mayonnaise on my cheesesteak, so I just went with the lettuce. Again, all in all, this was an overall positive experience and I enjoyed a satisfying meal. I love this spot even if it's a chain! I never understood years ago when people would say jerseys mikes is the best. Now that I've spent some time trying different cold sub shops I get it! The meat is cut thin and stacked like butter! Plus you can skip the bread and make a bomb salad sub bowl. They're quick so grabbing lunch on the go is smooth sailing. I stood at the counter waiting for someone...anyone...to acknowledge my existence (despite making eye contact with three employees behind the counter) long enough to download their app and place a mobile order before one of them finally asked if I wanted to place an order. Kudos to that kid though because he was busy working the grill and finally made time to come over and wonder why I had been left there so long unhelped...the other two were busy being kids who work at Jersey Mikes trying to look busy while chatting away. I don't care what anyone says, Jersey Mikes is the best sub place in the area. Yes, it's a chain, which is a turn off for some people, but I can see why they're succesfull enough to be a chain. The roast beef is fresh and juicy, really all the meat is, and they do not skimp on the portion sizes. You're leaving full, that's for sure. My advice is to get the Number 6, Roast Beef and Provolonoolong, or the Number 4 which has provolone, Proscuttini, and Cappaculo. read more

You have to get the sub Jersey Mike's. There are so many subs to pick from and no matter what you pick you can't go wrong (depending on what you like). The sub was grilled giving the bread just the right crunch. I love the fact that the place was clean and the service was on par with other fast food restaurants. Clean establishment, bad service, bad pricing for what you get. We ordered 3 subs, two of which they got wrong. One, I told the lady CHICKEN cheese steak, and they gave me a Steak cheese steak. I told her that and she said that since I said cheese steak that's what I had to stick with. Next, my kids sub, I said tomatoes and mayo, and the lady put lettuce first all over it and I had to repeat to put tomato and mayo. It's like these people are programmed and have no interest in making sure your sub is exactly how you want it. The price, I'm not cheap, but $40 for 3 subs (one was a mini), chips and drink, dayyyyyuummm, I should've gone elsewhere and got real food. Not worth it. Don't know what happened to this location, but I placed an order online. Arrived after the scheduled pickup time only to find that they had no idea that online orders had been placed. (Mine wasn't the only one) They then rushed through my order which ended up resulting in two extremely sloppy cold subs drenched in oil and a ridiculously tiny hot sub. And I only found out about this after arriving home and opening the order. The hot sub was a severely skimped out cheesesteak. I mean seriously? I work for a business that FREQUENTLY orders from Jersey Mikes. In the past we have ALWAYS ordered party boxes same day and have always been respectful with allow the sub makers to take their time on them. Today I called to place an order for co-workers and we had a special guest in the building as well. Danielle answered the phone and was nice at first but once I mentioned the box she immediately steered towards telling me they were only to be ordered 24 hours in advance and it was a no go, when we've probably placed orders for these over 10 times in the past. She said fine you need to give us time, I replied with no rush.... Its okay. A coworker goes to pick them up, and we were charged for all subs individually. I came in with my husband to eat some lunch yesterday and the subs are great. The staff greeted us and we got our food out quick. I had to wait for my sub for a little bit, which was fine and the staff brought it out to the table for me when it was done. However, the prices are not so great. It's on the higher end, so if you're watching the dollars, hit up Subway instead. We got two regular subs, two bags of chips, and two regular fountain drinks for 25 bucks. I feel like we could have spent half of the amount at another sub shop or at Publix. The location has more seating than the one on Woolbright and it is clean. There are a variety of sub choices to choose from and it's fresh and delicious. I loved the meatball sub and wished it was more for the price that it cost. I used to love all jersey mikes subs since I was kid growing up on the jersey shore, it was my go to sandwich shop. it's just not the same anymore. They barely put any meat on there subs and I even go as far as paying more and ordering extra or 2x extra meat just to get a filling sandwich and it still comes out on the skimpy side and I'm paying a extra $5-6 more for the one sandwich. it feels like they have gotten to be to big of chain restaurant, and don't really care about the quality or quantity of the product they're selling anymore, this was not the case in the past you used to get full off a regular size sub and it was so delicious for lunch or dinner. Your lucky if what you get now a days is even able to be considered a snack.
