Service is fairly quick, but pay attention to the sandwich maker as they're apparently not training the staff on the menu. None of the three knew anything about their 'secret menu' that's advertised. Very clean and very good spacious restaurant. My food was amazing I have only had a philly cheese steak in two place Hawaii and San Antonio and believe me this was the best out of all them. This Jersey Mike's restaurant was consistent in its cleanliness and food quality, excellent franchise consistency compared to other store. Occasionally the bread tastes less fresh, like on this visit, but still acceptable. There was a mistake made on the additional toppings, but I was too hungry to complain. I would recommend this Jersey Mike's, just watch while they are adding your sandwich toppings because they can get distracted. 03/07/2020: Additional yum today. Went during the lunch rush hour on 7/15/2024 and it was a mad house of customers. However, the Manager on duty was incredibly professional and made sure everyone was taken care of. My order took longer than expected and I was being a bit impatient and the Manager made sure I was taken care of quickly and even offered a refund - which I refused due to time. I have been their customer several times in the past few weeks. Their sandwiches are fresh, stuffed well and tasty. I had a couple of mishaps (e.g. bread choice) during the very busy lunch hour but I am not surprised given the speed to keep the customers happy. And I think they had the ac off or maybe it was broken, but with the close pack of people it got steamy in there today. Went for lunch with a co-worker today. I've not yet tried a Jersey Mike's until now. The menu was enticing so I chose my sandwich but wasn't sure what size to select. The young man behind the counter showed me the difference between regular and mini and I requested mini. At the register, the clerk asked which sandwich I had ordered. I replied and indicated that it was mini. She looked at and felt my sandwich and said "doesn't feel like a mini". I assured her it was. While I was completing my payment, she was whispering to clerk beside her asking if he thought my sandwich was a mini or regular. I overheard and ended up having to practically shout back to the original clerk to verify the size I'd ordered. This experience left me with a really negative first impression of Jersey Mike's. Probably won't go back. Thankfully, a Jimmy John's is nearby. read more

I tried the "Mike's way" which made my sub a bit sloggy. Mike's Way: onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices I will definitely go back with recommending to go easy on vinegar and olive oil. Having spent many summers in Point Pleasant, I am no stranger to the flagship store and multiple franchises across the Jersey Shore. However, in my travels across the US, I have remained skeptical of the Jersey Mikes franchise outside of NJ. Surely, they could not compare... I'm pleased to report that everything was exactly the same! I was once again permitted to obtain a REAL Italian Sub. With red wine vinegar! I can't tell you how many confused stares I've received, upon requesting red wine vinegar at other locations. Once I visited Firehouse Subs and gasped in horror as they dumped Italian Dressing on my Italian Sub! What? Why? This location is right by work so we get Jersey Mike's every couple of weeks but from now on I will drive the distance to another one. I called ahead so my sub would be ready when I got there I just wanted a regular cheesesteak not hard right? No idea what I got I asked for mushrooms added no mushrooms and there is some sort of bbq sauce on my sub. The worst part tonight was not that I got back to work and my order was wrong the service was terrible I asked for my total 3 times the gentleman never gave it to me I asked to use my points and he ignored that as well. There were four men behind the counter and only two customers but talking to each other about refilling lettuce was more important then listening to the customer. For the second time received poor service. Trouble is the music is too loud in this store. When trying to order I had to ask the server to repeat what she said because the music was too loud. I'd say "what did you say?" Then she would say "what did you say?" I love these guys and I personally witnessed them go above and beyond to clean down the grill and utensils before creating a sandwich for a customer who didn't eat pork. I think the sandwiches are just okay. I have only tried two, the reuben and the chicken parmesan. They weren't bad, but I don't have cravings for them anything. Food is great and up to par with all other JM locations. However his location has on 4 separate occasions messed up my order. They also tend to take 20+ minutes to make a hot sub even when they are not overly busy. I'll be back, but simply due to its location being convenient for me. The app hardly works. The staff always call me back to say the $extra meat on the website is wrong so they have to charge more, I have to get my card out again when I pick up order. Also I'm EXTREMELY OFFENDED by the prompts to tip your employees. Why are you not paying them a decent wage so they don't need to earn tips? my location sucks at sandwich making & the employees show their disapproval when you don't tip them. In addition, the employee's don't know crap about service or cleaning the slicer period. Who knows how many sandwiches are made before they wipe the slicer off. It's takes forever to get a hot sub made even when you order online, cuz they can only make one hot sub at a time due to ????? Who knows! Ordered the giant cheese steak on 4/28/19 over the phone for pick up. When I got home and started eating I noticed some rough cartilage or bone in the meat. I spit out the whole bite and continued eating, and for the next 5 big bites which is most of the sandwich I am having to dig cartilage out of my mouth with my finger because at this point if I spit out every bite with inedible parts there wont be much left and this was supposed to be my dinner. I hate to leave a 1 star for anybody I really do but when I pay $15 for a sandwich I expect the quality of the meat to be on par with the price. I don't know if the beef comes sliced, or if they slice it in house before they cook it but that kind of quality, or lack thereof is unacceptable for any price really. That's how you crack a tooth or choke plus it's just unpleasant man it's disgusting. Also, what's with the tipping at the counter? I called in an order and picked it up, why am I being asked to tip? Picking up is not the same as being served and apparently the meat cant even be sliced without bone and cartilage so am I supposed to tip for the slicing lol? It's ballsy to charge $15 for a sub and then ask for a tip. At Jimmy John's they make my sandwich in 60 fucking seconds and still don't ask for a tip at the register. read more
