1st time trying P. Terry's breakfast burgers. They were running a special that day for $2 so we said why not let's go the drive thru and grab a quick breakfast. We got a Egg & Sausage and a Egg & Bacon burger along with the Breakfast Potatoes. My favorite part was the potatoes. If I had to pick the Sausage Burger was better, but overall I would never order breakfast there again. They were not horrible, but not memorable. Mainly egg and bread. Needed more flavor for me. We love P. Terry's. The burgers are simple and classic. The ingredients are fresh and local. This means we can eat a burger and not feel like crap afterwards. The milkshakes are a treat every now and again and they're always perfect and classically simple. All in all, there's really nothing bad to say. If you want a burger and fries and you've been going to in-n-out or whattaburger then you're going to LOVE p. Terry's. This location is our goto. My dog Bruce always tags along and we (I) yell "BURGER BOYS!" before getting in the car. They're always so excited to see Bruce and always have a treat for him. The real reason he likes going. Setting/Service The staff here is very nice and personable. Only downside to this location is that there is only outdoor seating. Food: I ordered the double cheeseburger with grilled onions and a cookie. The burger had nice flavor and good balance of ingredients. The beef tastes fresh and gets the classic smash burger taste. The cookie was pretty great too. Interesting, buttery flavor and soft. Impressive that they make these in-house. Overall: This place has solid food. Classic case of not knowing what you have. For a location that is literally across the street from a whataburger, you would think they would have the one thing on the menu that whataburger doesn't, different shakes. I have been to this location 6 times in the past two two weeks and every single time they are not serving shakes, and when you ask why you'll never get an answer. It's simply the most frustrating thing in the world considering I live right next door and would gladly spend my money here but they simply can't even tell me a time during the day where I can come to get a shake. 0/10 wouldn't recommend, along with every other shake-less p-terry's, absolute fraud of a burger joint. this was initially going to be a 5 star service review but very quickly went downhill. a week ago, my car caught on fire in the drive through, and the employees and manager working that night handled it amazingly and helped put my car out. i had to leave it in the parking lot due to that fact, i let them know it might be a few days to a week till i could tow it and i was guaranteed both then AND on saturday that my car wouldn't be touched and that no one would tow it. on thursday i came to get my car, and it had been towed. i tried to get an answer from the staff working who gave me zero empathy, answers, or kindness. after being directly told my car would be fine, they broke their word and towed it. after leaving and later trying to call the restaurant to find out the towing information, i was told "i could come to the restaurant myself" and find it, to which i said "i do not HAVE a car because you towed it" to which they essentially told me that that's not their problem. i asked if they could simply step outside for 10 seconds to read me the number to which they responded "no we're busy". this has been one of the most horrible weeks of my life, and initially, i had all the praise for this staff in how they've helped their neighbor. unfortunately, the rest of the staff seem to lack any slightest trace of kindness, empathy, or respect. you have made my horrific week even more horrific. thank you pterrys, for the additional headaches, tears, and $300 charge to get my BURNT car out of impound! read more

While the cheeseburgers were just okay, nothing too special, we LOVED our fries and drinks! The fries were crispy and perfectly salty! What made it a 5-Star experience was the customer service. The sweet lady there was so friendly and bubbly. We wanted to purchase souvenir T-shirts and she was super patient while we were being indecisive about the color options. I've reviewed other P. Terry's locations before but this one is definitely the best, if only because of its super friendly staff and great schedule (it closes very late!) Never had a cold burger served to me at this location (unlike some other P. Terry's that didn't cook the buns all the way through, resulting in cold spots.) Furthermore, it's not uncommon that the guys working afternoons and evenings will crack a funny joke, upgrade my drink or shake, or slip in a free cookie in my takeout bag. This P Terry's burger stand is very convenient to my granddaughter's house. I enjoy items from their menu but sadly we don't have one close by to where I live out in Leander. After dropping my granddaughter to work, I decided to grab an early dinner and went through the drive-through. I don't know if you've noticed but most P Terry's locations seem to have quite a following and are very busy pretty much anytime I've ever driven by but this must've been a bit of a golden time between 430 and 5pm And although they have 2 lanes(One in each direction) only one was open at the time and of course I drove in the wrong way... However a very nice gentleman let me slide in -in front of him so that I could be in the right line. At that moment in time there were only four total cars in line so that meant I then became car three. Before I knew it I was pulling up to the speaker to order and ordered my double meat burger just as it comes which is with lettuce,tomato, and special sauce. I also ordered a french fry and root beer.. The service was efficient, the person at the other end of the speaker was friendly and repeated my order to make sure it was correct, they are doing a contactless drive through so you pull up to pick up your order and pay by putting your money or your card on a tray which they then pull in take care of and send back out to you your change and your meal. My meal was very cost-effective in fact that is something that really needs to be highlighted. These are better than an average burger and fries at a fraction of the cost of most fast food. Anyway my meal was very reasonable and I left them a couple dollars & change. The gentleman at the window seem to be a little surprised and questioned if I wanted to leave all of it for them (My attitude is that if you can't afford to tip adequately especially during this difficult time then you shouldn't be eating out......) So back to the granddaughters house I went to enjoy my meal which I did. I'm not sure what there is about the fries but I really like them!!! Burger was very good too. One of several burger joints in the Austin-Round Rock area that was on my eat list. The burger was tasty, hot and fresh. You could definitely tell the beef was legit also. Their "special sauce" reminds me of the Big Mac sauce(which I love). The fries were decent and lemonade needed help(watered down, not sweet), which is why I took off one star.
