My son and husband are big fans of Jersey Mike's. I ordered an Italian regular sub for my son and was excited that each year they give me points for a free birthday sub for having an online account with them. I did have to wait for a few minutes for my order, so I had time to use their restroom which requires a code from the staff. Bathroom was clean. Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite places to eat. However Jersey Mike's on Briarcliff is Hands down my favorite location to go to. The sandwiches are always made fresh & to perfection! I've been coming here for years & I remember a time where the customer service wasn't consistent.. However there is a woman by the name Mrs.Rita that I'd encounter. Over the years she has been my AMAZING . She makes this location feel like HOME through authentic engagement & customer service to all of here customers. Her and her team are AMAZING!! The two times I've been here, I ordered on the app or online and picked up the sandwiches, so I can't say too much about employee interactions. I pull up the app as I'm checking out at the grocery store, put in my order, and that gives me enough time to get my groceries to the car and make the short drive over since it's in the same plaza. The last time I was here, I walked in and didn't see my order on the mobile order shelf, and an employee asked me what the name for my order was and got my order wrapped up and came from behind the counter to hand it to me. I think this is the second time I've had their Mike's Famous Philly Cheesesteak...it just really hits the spot. I got it on the rosemary parm bread, chef's kisses! Ordered $315 food 16 foot longs and chips for our work crew. Manger called and was going to change 1/2 of the orderes to white bread instead of rosemary. He said he want to make sure that he had more rosemary bread for later in the day even though I ordered $315 in food and tips $25 Wanted to hold back Rosemary bread for orders not been received.. I let him know felt this was wrong but he didn't care. I did not have time to get food elsewhere. But since we are working in the area for next two weeks, we will not be returning here. The sub shop is in a sprawling and congested shopping center. Head towards the section with Grub Burger Bar--the entrance is in the front. There was no signage in the back of the building which could lead to some confusion if you're approaching that way. The three employees working were patient and helpful. However, their masks were in various states of usage. If you prefer not to dine inside, there are two tables outside of the establishment. Taste-wise, my sandwich was impressive, better than what I was expecting. They slice the meats in front of you which gives you that butcher-quality feel. Though I did think it was a little on the pricey side. My regular-sized #6 (Roast Beef and Provolone) was $9.25 pre-tax, and that didn't include any chips or drinks. I placed a phone order which the staff said would be ready in 10 min. I arrived at exactly the 10 minute mark and my sandwich was unprepared. I waited at least 10 more minutes for the sandwich to be prepared and after some confusion they finally gave me the sandwich. It ended up being nearly $15 for the veggie sandwich. I could have gotten a lot more for this price considering the quality of the food and the experience. I would not revisit a Jersey mikes after this experience. As many folks do, I love me a good sandwich and apparently that is what Jersey Mike's specializes in! This particular location is small, clean and flows nicely for a sandwich shop. Its your typical order at the counter then wait until your number/sandwich is called, pick it up a little further down the counter then do your thing be it there or wherever you like to eat your sandwiches. I am particularly fond of Cheesesteak sandwiches and they offer a very tasty variety of said sandwich, like 9 varieties! The day I came in I opted for the #26 (apparently you are supposed to order by the number, I was a first timer, so I ordered by the sandwich name...#newb), which was the Bacon Ranch Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich and per usual I sided it with some chips. They have a list of premade sandwiches, but you can still customize to the way you would like, however I just left mine alone and let the professionals do their thing. The sub came out quickly and was hot and fresh! The bread itself was soft, chewy and able to handle the amount of meat, cheese and veggies they put on the sandwich. I am disgusted with the sandwich I received. The employee put the bread straight on the counter! No paper under it. It was truly disturbing to watch. The store smelled like cleaning chemicals. The first sign was things changed is when i saw them wrap my philly cheesesteak in a regular paper wrap instead of foil. Since the Jersey Mike's near my home is a disgusting dump, I haven't ordered from them in years. Yesterday I was at the hospital getting a 4 hour lung transplant related blood infusion. When I was done, I was starving and had a craving for Jersey Mike's which was luckily near the hospital. Most restaurants that I order take out from are willing to deliver curbside once I explain my health situation and weakened immune system. However the employees here didn't care and wanted me to risk my health by going into the store against my doctor's orders. When I told him my transplant doctor didn't want me entering restaurants, the employee kept telling me "We don't do curbside", despite the fact I was right in front of the store. I was about to cancel my order but he finally agreed to "meet me halfway" to get my meal. The sandwich itself was really good. Which kind of made the hassle worth it. However, if you have any underlying health condition that puts you at high risk for having having serious or fatal complications from the pandemic, this location won't care and may refuse to accommodate you. read more

They put real layers of big meat on your fat fat sandwich and willingly dose it with oil and vinegar and other splotches of goodness that make their sandwiches a cut above the others. I did not intend to make the half-pun of 'cut above' in a review on a sandwich shop. I usually don't go to Jersey Mike's because I try not to blow my belly out each time I eat. I guess if I made their products last for several meals rather than one, then it'd be smarter thinkin'. Jersey Mike's is one of my ultimate favorite places for a fast lunch or dinner. The food is fresh and top notch! The Loehmanns Plaza location usually blasts music through crackling speakers that sound like they were bought at the Dollar store. For some reason they normally blast the TV as well creating a mix of noise that makes me want to lose my mind. Great food, nice people but please choose TV or radio....both is annoying. I will get my awesome sandwiches to go or start wearing ear plugs. I am updating this review because I have eaten there six or seven times since the last review and they have decided to choose either TV or Radio. The noise level has decreased and I can now eat inside the restaurant at lunch without feeling more stressed than I did at the office. Thanks for getting rid of the noise! My fiancé and I went there on my birthday to get our free sandwich and drink as being part of their rewards program. We ordered a veggie sandwich and told her we wanted it Mike's way. The lady must have had a nose bleed because she had tissue stuffed in her nostril. As she was about to cut the sandwich we asked her to put mayo and mustard on our sandwich and she stated you have to tell them that separately and to let her know before YET she asked everyone else if they wanted mayo and mustard on their sandwiches separately. I told her I didn't know that and I was sorry. She didn't say anything and then got mayo and mustard all over the outside of the wrapper. When we were checking out I showed her the birthday coupon we had and she had not changed her gloves so she got mayo and mustard all over my phone. On top of that, she never even smiled or said happy birthday. I believe my experience at this sandwich shop should have been better. I'm a loyal Jersey Mikes customer and I was so excited to see that there's a location so close to my college campus, however, I have had a plethora of negative experiences with the staff here. My orders have been incorrect, they take an obscene amount of time to complete them, and when confronted about this unacceptable wait time, the staff is rude and generally not happy to be working. They also make really strange comments that create an unsettling environment. Overall, I'm incredibly disappointed with this location. This past weekend I ordered a salad using Postmates. This is the first time my order has come from this location. They got my order completely wrong--I think it was someone else's order. When I called to let them know of the error, the woman who answered the phone sounded annoyed and advised me to come in and pick up a corrected order. Really? Why would I come and pick up an order they got wrong? She then currently told me to get a refund from Postmates. I bought a couple of cold subs Tuesday 16/21 and brought them home for dinner. This was our first time at this location so imagine my surprise when we tried to eat the food and both subs were made without the standard and requested oil and vinegar. Very disappointed but add to that trying to reach the place and no answer with a full mailbox so no message either. My attempt to reach someone is ongoing. I guess you have to open and consume your food to determine if it is made to order THEN you can take it home to enjoy.
