Opened around a week ago, Jerry Maguire hopes to become the Jerry Maguire of the dessert world and to 'complete you' with it's store-baked treats.
It labels itself as a cocktail and dessert shop, so I am not the best judge for its aspirations as I only popped in for a lunch. The lunch was standard fare, an Italian bread, toasted and cut into three strips, served with a beetroot salad, all pleasantly laid onto a rectangle dish. Definitely not enough for a grown man, even though it came with dessert and a coffee. The lunch set came up to HKD 97 per person. Nothing too inspired here, I think as far as lunch goes, it will be hard to become popular. I will give its desserts and cocktails a shot sometime later.
It's a nice cozy spot and I can see it being a intimate place to meet friends, if it stays at a low traffic volume. read more
