    Passenger seat, dirty, dusty, stained.

Everyone was fairly nice but it was both rushed when trying to look at cars and test drive but then extremely slow when doing anything else. I found a car i really liked and wanted to talk about it but they didn't give me time to think. I liked it enough so I traded my car in for it but then they wouldn't tell me how much I was getting for trading it in until the end when i was signing loan papers. They also gave me $5000 less than what they appraised it for as well as charging a $6000 service fee for just buying and loaning through them which is insane, almost twice as much as when i bought a brand new car! Then when I was looking at the car after buying they didn't even clean it, maybe besides vacuuming the floors! I know it is used so it has wear-and-tear but charging so much just to buy with them but not even doing a good job detailing is crazy. Also just checked, no spare tire or jack and the key is not original key, but of course they did not tell me this. Yes I could've check but I just assumed they would be decent enough to tell me this.

Trying to jump a car off so we could drive it. Fail!

Came to buy a car. We had money in hand to buy a car. We picked out the car to buy. Battery was dead in the remote. 5 people couldn't get in the car. We looked at a second car. Clean car fax. Wrecked on right side. No body panels lined up. Looked at a third car. They tried to jump the car off so it would work. Left without a car or confidence.

I bought my truck here last year and needed something a little more economical as I drive 60+ miles back and forth to work.

I have purchased 6 cars in my lifetime, and Lexington Ford and the Finance Manager: Tyler Smith,…read moreensured that my experience at Parkway Ford of Lexington was by far the most unprofessional, unenjoyable, dishonest, and frustrating experience I have encountered at a time where I should be enjoying and celebrating my 90k purchase. Where do I begin... 1. I applied for a loan from Knoxville with the intention of purchasing a 2024 Raptor. I applied with a co-signer, and was quoted a rate. Come to find out in order to "ensure I had the best rate possible" Tyler swapped the primary and secondary applicants without my permission. 2. When quoted the rate, I was told only 72 month terms were available. Only until the manager pitched the warranty's and maintenance plans was the 84 month term magically available at the same interest rate I was probably quoted for the 72 month term. 3. Once I had applied I was told my co-signer had to be there in person to sign, which unfortunately she had to work. So the dealership offered to deliver the vehicle 120miles... at my expense ($300). When I asked about the delivery and whether or not I would still receive a full tank of gas, I was told I wouldn't as they would deliver it minus the fuel they expended. 4. On the day of delivery, I received a text saying the truck couldn't be delivered because one of the drivers was sick. I said this was unacceptable and that was my only availability. After some back and forth and got my truck delivered. 5. After the numbers had been crunched over the phone with the finance manager: Tyler Smith, before delivery, I requested copies of the finance documents so that any possible issues could be addressed before their driver drove 4 hours.... Tyler failed to email the documents.. which caused many issues (see below). His excuse was that "He was the only one there". 6. Once the driver arrived with the documents, there were countless issues. The make of my previous truck was misspelled on all documents, my address was wrong, my payoff was wrong, my co-signer was listed as an owner on my trade in (which she is not) etc. When I brought up the incorrect pay off amount, instead of offering to correct his mistake, Tyler simply said: "Well, they'll send you a check in the mail for the amount of the overage". 7. As we began to go over the documents and I expressed my concerns and questions over not being listed on key documents despite being the primary owner, and all the aforementioned discrepancies, Tyler continued to get more frustrated and would continue to say and repeat "Trust me", "listen, I do this for a living" "Oh, that document document doesn't even matter, you can rip it up for all I care" 8. After getting frustrated with all the issues, I asked Tyler to speak to the manger. His response was "I AM THE MANAGER! If you don't like it, I can have the driver take the truck back right now". To which I replied that he was not the GM, and that I wanted to speak with the GM right away. According to Tyler; the GM was not in.... 9. After sitting down with Tyler remotely, and having to make countless pen and ink changes to the documents, we were finally able to get them signed. 10. Once the docs were signed and finalized, we realized that the dealership failed to send the spare key with the driver; and have agreed to mail it to me. 11. When Tyler finally sent me my "finalized documents", he sent me an unprofessional and blank email, with no greeting, no email body, and only the attachment... Not to mention, all the corrections that needed to be made were done by hand, pen and ink, with a contract that is full of line-outs. 12. The dealership failed to provide me with a Ford Owners Card listing my 5 digit factory pin, and therefore I cannot program my door without removing passenger side panels. 13. Last but not least, they were supposed to give me a 30 day temporary plate, but they got the month wrong on the plate... therefore my temporary plate expired the date I made my purchase... now I'm driving around with expired temp plates the day after my purchase. I emailed Tyler multiple days ago asking him to include a new temporary plate with the key they failed to provide; he didn't respond, so I had to contact my sales representative to take care of it. As you can see, this was a terrible experience. Literally every single part of this process was horribly flawed. Parkway Ford and specifically Tyler Smith robbed me of what should of been a very positive experience, purchasing a truck that I had been working towards my entire life... and because of that I do not recommend this dealership whatsoever. As Tyler felt the need to remind me, He is the Manager, and if he had done his due diligence, none of this would have happened. Take my advice, go elsewhere... none of this should have been possible.

BTW, I despise car shopping. I hate dealing with car salesmen (new and used). I hate texting and calling individuals off of places like Craigslist about cars they have for sale. It is just a pain in the ass in my opinion. Lots of times we would find a car online that matched what he wanted, only to show up and it had "been sold", but we have some other piece of shit for you to look at instead. So he had a very specific car model he wanted. Lexington Auto Sales had one in the price range. Showed up and did a test drive. Made an offer, some minor haggling occurred, then we agreed on a price. Fairly easy experience. It has been a few weeks and the car is still running fine. No issues. Highlights - They seem to primarily cater to people needing financing, so if you have cash then you can get a better deal and avoid the bull shit "processing / administration fees" - They are online and use most of the auto phone apps - I found the folks there to be upfront and were not bullshitting me. That's really difficult to find and I appreciated their honesty. - They will provide a Carfax report for the vehicles - It appears the owner is the only one who can negotiate. The sales person had to text my responses back in forth while we haggled (owner was not onsite at the time). - The sales staff were very friendly, and no it wasn't some BS nice act to sale you a car. - There was zero pressure to buy anything. They just gave you the facts about the car and it appeared to be no sweat if we could not make a deal.
