Total failure, made appointment for two tires. Three days in advance. Not only did they fail to have tires in stock but also wasted two hours of my time and removed wheels from rear of car without reason. Raised hood without cause and now rear wheels are bouncing. I now need two front tires still and rebalance rear wheels. Wonder how much damage they caused? This is the third and last time Firestone auto center gets my business. read more

Another successful trip to Firestone! I drive from Denton to Lexington just to have my vehicle(s) serviced at Firestone. Everything from oil changes to new tires, I have always had a good experience. I'm treated with respect and never had anyone try to 'over sell' me or sell me a service I didn't ask for. These folks, from the desk to the service area, are top notch! For me, it's worth the drive. The last time I went to their store in Lexington, NC for an oil change, I requested they use full synthetic oil. When I left, I noticed the sticker on my windshield said synthetic blend. When I contacted the store, I was told the technician made a mi and put the wrong oil type on the sticker. I may be female, but I'm not ignorant! I went higher up and after several emails because I was ignored, I made enough of a fuss where I was finally able to talk to a real person about my experience. I was offered a free oil change, which I refused, because they'd likely do the same again. I requested to have my money returned. They complied but I had to go to the store to get my money. A couple of weeks ago, I had a flat tire and had to find a place to buy a new tire. But I wasn't going back to Firestone. When I went to a different tire shop, I was told that the tires on my car weren't designed for that vehicle and would normally be placed on a SUV. This professional said the tires were an inch and a half too big. So, once again Firestone messed up when it came to my car. When I first started using Firestone, I had eyelashes on my headlights. The guys working on my car didn't bother to try to close the hood without breaking the eyelashes off. I had to get angry about my broken eyelashes for Firestone to pay to replace them. I won't use Firestone again! Their consistent lies and unprofessional behavior is appalling. read more

Serviced car due to the water pump failure. Preston went above and beyond to fix the car at a reasonable price. Preston communicated daily updates where the car was at during the process which made planning daily travel and pick of the car easier. Would definitely be using them for future needs should they ever arise and would recommend to family and friends. read more

Cannot say enough good things about this place! Dale took care of me and gave me the best service!! I was just passing through the area and unfortunately I got a flat tire. It was not a complete blowout but a slow leak and I couldn't keep driving on it any longer. Dale went above and beyond trying to find the leak and then eventually finding me a new tire. He worked quickly and efficiently to get me on my way back up to Maryland which I still had a few hundred miles to go. Fantastic experience and highly recommend any type of service here. read more

This place has always been very solid for us. We had a boat tire repaired here and took a truck with a nail in the tire here, they couldn't fix it, but they were honest and upfront and it was on a holiday. They tried even when they were doubtful. I would suggest making an appt or ensuring someone can drop you off as they are typically pretty busy. The waiting room is large enough to accommodate several people and downtown isn't far is you want to grab a coffee or browse a store while you wait. No frills, just solid service. read more

Called for a quote. Decided it was a good price and took my vehicle up there. Got a call from them and I asked for my total. The total compared to the quote was about $70 higher. The Service here was fantastic. After another Firestone ( the one at 3880 josh gordon lane in High point NC) gave me terrible service I left that store and found a different firestone. I went to this location and Dale helped me out immediately. Not only did he honor the prorated tire that the other location tried to weasel their way out of, he was also very courteous, understanding, and helpful. They even changed my tire in 40 minutes flat while the shop was moderately busy! I highly recommend this shop. read more

Oh how I love Firestone!!! Specifically THIS Firestone! I'll occasionally visit other locations for smaller things, such as oil changes. But anything that requires a bit of work, I GO HOME! My family has been coming here since I can remember. So much so that I know them by name. The place is always super clean and I am yet to have an issue with a job that they have completed. They are friendly with everyone and will take their time explaining things to you. Actually the bit of knowledge that I do have about cars, I got from them. They will work with you on what you need and they have an area where you can drop your car off if you need to leave it overnight for work they need to complete the next day. Got a flat tire on my way home to Charlotte so decided to stop by and get it fixed before heading back. Asked to have my front tires rotated to the back where the flat was and new tires put on the front. Instead they replaced my two good tires I wanted moved to the back and just moved my completely flat tire to the front. read more

I was told that they would not honor their "Preferred Installer" agreement with Tire Rack because their risk was too great. They insisted that I had to have brand new tires before they would install my new wheels (old ones were bent) and do an alignment. Welcome to Mayberry with a bad attitude. read more

Been a customer for 20 years. They were always fair and did their best for me. Last week, my teenage daughter got a flat and I sent here there for a patch. The tech accidentally damaged the air sensor in the tire and not only did they admit the mistake but they gave her a free new tire ($200 value) and didn't even charge her for the attempted patch. Honesty like this is a rare thing these days. read more

That company is too sorry to respond to jump start a car to go back to their business to get repairs. After 2 weeks, I can't wait to hear how much storage fee they will charge an hour's labor and minor parts. I'll know better next time and I'm spreading the word. Do not take your vehicles here. The guys that worm there are obviously tired and lazt. Me and my husband had just stopped in to gwt a oil change, they took our car we waited aboit 45 mins. Drove our car home, took a couple mins to get all my groceries out, then noticed my oil was starting to leak. They had told us when they were doing the oil page that the drain plug they had just pulled out was stripped and had no thread on it so they took it upon themselves to order a new drain plug an over sized drain plus is what they were calling it, and throw our other one away and use tge one they ordered however this did no good at all we still ledt with an oil leak, they said this problem woild have occured to whoever chainged the oil next. So now we have to let our leak oil until we can affoed to biy an oil pan in which they are saying this is the only thing that will stop the leak. They never even offered to fix the problem they only suggested we bring the car back and ler them put a new oil pan in for $275...they have created a problens with my car and the onlu was for them to fox it is to lay for it...this place sucks, and messed my car up costing me more and more money. Even if there are a couple good reviews on this page, good for them but all in all, dont take your car here they will f*** it up for you. read more
