When I was ready, I got in the car, drive 10 feet and had to stop. My car was clank-clanking. The covers were bent forward and very loose, hitting the rims. I stopped, reported to the Derrick, and he said he'd fix it. 10 min. later, he tells me that they didn't do anything to the covers to make them all loose, etc. Keep in mind, I had new tires installed months previously and a rotation done previously with NO PROBLEMS, with the same caliper covers. Derrick lectures me on the covers saying they are not made for my car, that they don't belong and they cause damage, and how I should just have them take them off. Umm.....Sir, why are you so hell bent on me taking something off MY car that YOU don't like. When I declined, he lowkey had an attitude and said "fine!" We will do "what we can." When I got in the car, same problem but louder, I had to go to work. Drove carefully. I called corporate, they told me the same thing....that the calipers don't belong on my car, etc. They were custom made for my car and have been PERFECT for 4 years. Now I can't help but to believe they messed them up on purpose. When I made it to work, I looked at my tire, the caliper had been bent forward, sliced thru, scraped all to be damned and flat out ruined. Fast forward, the manager called me and told me to bring the car back and he highly recommend that I take them off. Isn't that what they wanted all along? And they don't want to pay me for them for THEIR mistake. I'm seeking counsel. Why do I keep going back there? I think this is the last time. Just last year, they switched out my lugs for ones that don't go on mine. I pointed them out, bought the correct ones from the dealership and they DID reimburse me for those. But they've lost so many of my personalized valve caps until it's tiring. I'm just so UGH at companies like this. They SWEAR they can do no wrong. Just own up to your mistake and correct it. PLEASE?! Now I have got to come out of pocket for unnecessary BS, and go thru the changes of getting new caliper colors.

He was talking down to them and addressing them in a way that I found extremely unprofessional and inappropriate for someone in a management position. Regardless of the circumstances, employees should be treated with basic respect and professionalism, especially in front of customers. Watching a manager belittle or embarrass his employees creates an uncomfortable environment for customers and reflects poorly on the company as a whole. I understand that managers may need to correct or address employee performance issues, but there is a professional and respectful way to do so. The behavior I witnessed was unnecessary and concerning. I hope Mavis Tire will take this complaint seriously and address the situation appropriately. Customers should be able to visit your stores without having to witness employees being treated disrespectfully by management.

Tires were the second less expensive at $67 ea. for a Honda Civic. Total online price was $400. So I went ahead and booked my appointment. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the bill came out to be $490, they charged me $80 per tire instead of the 67 online price, there was a $14 disposal fee, and also charged me an extra $30 for tire pressure monitor sensors which I didn't ask for and don't work cause my TPM light stays on even after they installed new ones. So when dropping off your vehicle for tires make sure you confirm the online price. Other than that so far I love the tires, two weeks in they are very quiet and smooth.

THANK YOU to the good guys out there working in this heat helping keep my family safe on the road and not trying to sell me a set of new tires. As of 4:50 they still have two tires to go & did not get the alignment done. Was told that his guys were going to have to work overtime because you have bigger tires. Other customers still waiting while several employees just standing around talking in the bay area. Sounds like they need to rethink the people they have working there because it shouldn't take 2+ hours & still not get all the services you paid for completed. We have always been faithful Firestone customers & thought we would give someone new a try since we kept seeing all their commercials on TV, well needless to say we now have to go to Firestone to get the alignment. Since we paid for an alignment that didn't happen, they asked to come back for the alignment (like it hasn't taken long enough already) we finally got a refund for that so we can now go to our faithful place to finish our serrvice.
