Painfully slow. Avoid if you value your time…read more The whole appeal of Take 5 is supposed to be speed--stay in your car, in and out fast. That's not what happened. We waited 20 minutes just to pull in, before anyone even touched the vehicle. One of the bays was closed with no explanation, which clearly bottlenecked everything. Whatever the reason, the result was a line that crawled and zero communication about the holdup. For a place built around being quick, this was the opposite. Won't be back. UPDATE: I left after 35 minutes without ever getting my car serviced--and then had to wait another 5 minutes just so one of the slowest-moving "workers" (using that term loosely) could wipe the paint marker off my windshield that they'd put there in the first place. Laziest crew I've seen in a long time. Never again.

When they started changing the oil, they tell me that there was an oil leak and needed to get that checked out. neither me nor my fiancé have noticed that but were going to take it in to get it looked at. She takes it in today and they say there was a leak. however, IT WAS BECAUSE THEY PUT THE CAP ON WRONG!! you would think an oil change place could do the most important thing to do. Thank the lord she hadn't lost too much and the body shop was nice and didn't charge her. this place clearly needs to do a 180 especially since other reviews have said similar things. And to make it worse they have a dumb AI bot respond to the reviews because I saw one that was 5 stars but was talking about how lousy this place is and the bot praised them for the 5 star review. do yourself a favor and go to Strickland brothers or somewhere else.

Before I even walked inside, the staff noticed I had parked and immediately came over to ask if I needed any assistance. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. While I was waiting, they even offered me a bottle of water, which was such a thoughtful touch and made me feel like a valued customer. David was phenomenal! He was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly, including the services and pricing. What I appreciated most was that there was absolutely no pressure to purchase additional services. They were honest, transparent, and treated both my daughter and me with kindness and respect from start to finish. The service was incredibly fast, the facility was clean and well organized, and the entire team worked together seamlessly. It's refreshing to find a business where customer service is still a top priority. I normally take my vehicles to the dealership, but after this experience, I can honestly say Strickland Brothers has earned my trust and my business. This will be my new go-to place to take my vehicles for oil changes and car inspections. A huge thank you to David and the entire team for making this such a positive experience. If you're looking for fast, honest, knowledgeable service with outstanding customer care, I highly recommend Strickland Brothers.

The only regret and reason for one less star, was that I called previously and asked the price of an oil change and was told 58 or 68 with tire rotation. I recently brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and inspection around 3 PM. At the time…read moreof service, my vehicle had no warning lights or known issues. Approximately two and a half hours later, my check engine light came on. I returned to the shop the same day, and they scanned the code, which came back as P0430 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold). What is concerning is not just the timing, but the response I received. I was told it was "just a coincidence," and no further effort was made to inspect the vehicle. Given that this issue appeared immediately after service, I expected at minimum a basic check of components that may have been accessed or affected during the inspection, such as oxygen sensor connections or anything near the exhaust system. Instead, the concern was dismissed without any attempt to rule out whether something may have been inadvertently disturbed during service. As a customer, that lack of follow-through is frustrating and does not reflect thorough or responsible service. Additionally, my overall experience raised concerns about professionalism and honesty. During check-in, I was told that I would need new wiper blades in order for my vehicle to pass inspection. I was initially quoted $14.99 for the blades, but then the associate realized the correct length I needed was actually priced at $20. I was told he would still honor the $14.99 price, but that the receipt would show the 24-inch blades at the higher price. Being told one thing while knowingly documenting something different is concerning. Given that this kind of falsehood occurred, it raises questions about what else may not have been handled correctly during my service, including whether the correct oil was used or if something else may have been impacted. During check-in, I was also encouraged to leave a five-star review due to the number of one-star reviews the business has received. A specific complaint was even mentioned about the business not having a working phone. However, a phone number is printed on receipts, which would reasonably lead customers to believe they can contact the business by phone. That disconnect is misleading. While waiting for my vehicle, I observed staff engaging in unprofessional behavior, including using profanity and focusing more on social interactions than customer service. After paying $163, even with a $25 off coupon, I am now in a position where I still have to consult with a reputable mechanic to resolve an issue that was not present when I brought my vehicle in, and clearly was not present when the business passed the vehicle for a state inspection. I understand that the mechanical issue may ultimately be unrelated. However, the timing alone warranted a closer look, and I should not have had to push for that level of care. Combined with the lack of professionalism and questionable business practices, this experience has left me needing to seek a second opinion elsewhere, something that could have been avoided with more thorough service and accountability.
